It's pretty meaningless discussion anyway. It's Ken's list and it doesn't really have any significance regarding important issues. If Ken does or does not want to include particular people then that's up to him.
I've played with a few BAP members - Dylan Fry, Johnny Murphy, Phil Morrison, Ales Zelinka, as well as Dan Ednie who got an honourable mention at world 2004 and maybe again in 2007(I'm not sure about the second time), and Ken who turned down a BAP invitation.
If I were to rate those players based on their abilities at the time when I played with them, Lynton would easily be in the top 3, and in the early 2000s I think he was probably one of the best players in the world. Even in 2003 at the New Zealand championships he was up there with Ryan Mulroney, who was still in the top two players in the world at the time. I really doubt you'd find anybody who played with Lynton who didn't think he was BAP quality.
