sorry about that, I see the error. What I meant to say was that from what Jon told me, I gathered that he attributes a nice portion of his footbag fame to his appearance in TOTT2.

Winning the world championship also definitely raises your fame.

I am sure that there are alot of the older players that I know better because of them winning the world championship.

Also I think Damian Gilniecki(sp?) got alot more attention from some of the early players after winning, than what he did from just making bomb videos.

Also people working hard on incorporating concepts that not many other people does get kinda famous for that.
Jon for dragon for example.
Or Sunil for barraging/furious.
Janis from Australia definitely also got kinda notorious without having the greatest game ever for doing alot of pincher things.

And Jon is definitely a legend in Denmark.
Nikolai Lorentzen first saw footbag in person when he visited the states and saw Jon play. Later on he won two danish championships. And his padawans Mathias Blau and Søren Nøhr has won everything in Denmark since that.
