I have to disagree with you on that one. In my experience with shin splints, it occured in both legs in both general areas. If someone was heavy Bigfoot, then this could hold true that they may get pains in one leg but nowadays it seems that footbaggers are trying to achieve bothsidedness, so having pains in both legs would be more common (I would presume).Jas wrote:yeh most footbaggers have shin splints on their left leg...

yea splints is when the muscle develops to quickly or something liek that and gets squeezed in against the bone...also some of you out there that get shin splints,do you drink lots of soft drinks(even diet)?soft drinks have been proven(saw it on 20/20) to wear away at your bones more than you think. They had one girl on that show that was 16 and had the bone structure of an 80 yr old woman becuase she drank around a liter of coke every day or so..so yea look at what you're drinking and try to cut back on the soft drinks.take multivitamins too like centrium and stuff.taking one of those a day can do no harm, just helps to get in all your nutrients and calcium is in there.
OK, not gonna weigh in on the whole milk/calcium debate, but here are my thoughts on shin splints.
