Monday Gym Session.

I love em. Wonder why?

That's why:

Paradox Double Legover
Bubba Beater
Ripwalk>DLO>Pixie Flapper
Diving Clipper>Ducking Clipper
(finally!)
Diving Clipper bsos
Run with clip set DLO, toe set DLO and Eggbeater
Dimwalk>Ducking Butterfly>Jaywalk ;)

One-sidedness sometimes owns.

Bea hit more Ripwalks than she wanted, also a Sidewalk!

Yesterday Daryl and me met at the Express Brass Band gig at the Cafe
Marat. (Where I had my first cameo with the band - played Tuba on
'Free my people'! )

We shredded in the entry hallway for a while, totally drunk, but it was fun.
Nothing spectacular was hit, though Daryl had some good solid strings.
I had Drunken-Eggbeater-In-Pants on my foot

This week I was at the doctor's twice; had my veins checked, where
everything seemed to be ok, and then I went to the Orthopedic again,
who couldn't see any damage in my calf. Next week I'll have a
magnetic resonance imaging done, to see what's going on.
I really want to know what's going on now - It's fucked to have an inury
and not know what it is.

Max, how's your ankle?
I'd really like to know how many contacts that one long run of yours was!

That's cool. For me it was the worst session I've had for ages. My
legs hurt like shit, I couldn't hit the easiest tricks, it just didn't
work that day. I forced myself to take a longer healing break now,
but it's hard no to play. It's hard to resist.

---
2 days ago I waxed my Sorbi-Bag. It was laying next to candle which
suddenly started to leak. In no time, half the bag was covered with wax.
I haven't gotten everything out yet, but it doesn't matter that much,
because:

My Abshire mini is here! 11 weeks after ordering it. Thanks to Richie,
who has made me another one after the first one got lost because of
Eric Windsor. I hope Richie got his money.

It's SMALL! I can't remember Max's Abshire to have been that small. I'm
curious of how it will break in. It's a mere 4cm in diameter now (my
Sorbi-Bag is about 5.3cm).

---
Went to the doctor to get a socalled "Kernspin Tomographie" (Magnetic
Resonance Imaging) of my calf. Nice pictures, but the doctor couldn't
find anything. Maybe it's because my calf didn't hurt when it was scanned.
I'll be at the doctor again in 2 hours. To be continued...

That was my last session this year before taking the 4-6 week injury
break to let my calf heal off.

Nothing too spectacular, I had a hard time going for runs, seems I lost
so much control over the past 3 months where I couldn't play properly.

came close to my sick3 again: Blur>Dimwalk>Torque roll off

New move:
Reverse Whirl (both sides)
Also Reverse Whirl midrun twice. They feel a lot easier than whirls.

I came a bit closer to Pixie Eggbeater..

Pixie Eggbeater (2x)
Pixie Double Legover (2x)

My first triple dexes!

and another Pdx DLO
and Dimwalk>Ducking Butter>Ripwalk
off my foot again

PS: This session rocked so much. Too bad Max wasn't there. It was
so crowded, half of the hall was used by shredders 8O
Oh yeah, I hit Pixie Flapper again, and something like Parkwalk>Ripwalk>DLO. It was good playing with Mike and Philipp again,
and it's great to have a new recruit in our ranks!

Daryl, what's going on on saturday?

I'm afraid I won't be able to shred with you, as I have a job now for
2 weeks at the Messe, helping out at the "Heim+Handwerk Messe",
which means I'll be working 14days full time, from 8 to open end each
day. I'm not even sure if I can make it next monday (I do hope so though),
because we have a lot of Bewerbers coming for the free room and
we're in quite a hurry to fill the room with female life! I'll let you know
once I know more. ps: my bag is breaking in nicely, it's a ducking man's
dream! I finally hit and sealed weaving clipper>ducking clipper, as well
as weaving clipper flipside (man, my flipside clipper does suck).

It was good shredding again, and I did
manage some stuff.

A couple of weaving stuff midrun, such as weaving osis, weaving butterfly,
weaving mirage and another ducking clipper>weaving clipper;

rev whirls midrun (flipside too, but in another run)

One run with: Toe DLO>Butterfly>DLO>Butterfly>Bubbabeater DROP

my runs are getting longer again. I'm able to string again!

some parkwalk>ripwalks were there as well.

at the end of the session, I hit 30 alternating clippers with max's abshire,
and 24 with my mini. I wanna hit at least 40 next session. my flipside
clipper is the root of all evil - it seems like it weakened itself while my
goodside progressed. infinities, flipside clipper moves of all sort give
me a hard time because I haven't found the perfect clipper position yet.
but thanks to drilling ducking sameside, I have found my strong clippers
to be much better than they used to. It feels like after 2 years of shredding I have finally found my perfect clipper position. Clipper is
one of those moves that keeps evolving.

ramble off.

hope to see you next monday, max! and call me on wednesday for
the carpet!

Nora from Vienna

I don't remember much, but it was great to have Nora with us.
I hit 6 Magellan's, which is a record, and increased my alternating clipper
record to 31..

I'm out for a while. Twisted my flipside ankle brutally on saturday at a
drum'n'bass party. It's gonna take me a while to walk normally again,
and so I'll be starting the physio therapy asap.

Can't wait to hear your progress though!

Physiotherapy will hopefully start next week. Not shredding is hard,
but I just bought myself an awesome Flamenco-Guitar, so I'm fit for
the winter. I can finally start off learning the flamenco guitar now
So most of the time I'm playing and practicing.
Late Night Jam is too awesome. Hell yeah!

I tried a ducking clipper today, and halfway through the cranking of my
catch foot it just hurt like bullcrap. I can crank my flipside ankle about
10-15 degrees, if not less. Maybe I'm fit for Todexon...

Footbag is just so far away right now.Even though I'm still on modified and stay up to date, it's something I don't think about much, since the only move I can do right now is a toe stall

Right now I'm totally focusing on playing+practicing guitar, and I'm actually in the process of composing my first real piece. It's getting
more and more complex. This is great, it gives you a similar feeling that you get from good sessions. So good that it's 3 o'clock now and I should
be getting up again in 5 hours. Have to find a job.

I hope to be able to get back to shredding in 4 weeks or so.
My ankle is still pretty stiff and I can't crank it at all.
