wow, what an impacting topic.
One day when i was 9 or so i used to skate with my next door neighbour every day. He had recently purchased a long board with freakin awesome bearings and we were lugeing down this hill at some crazy ass speed. Well it was his turn and i was at the bottom of the hill and he was going to fast to slow down and he was heading for an intersection and i was yelling at him to stop because there were some cars coming. He put his feet down and they just slid along the concrete so I had to jump infront of him to slow him down. It almost knocked me over but he was ok.
He also saved my life one day. I was around about the same age and i was running across this busy road, and this car came screeming out from around this corner and he yelled at me to look out cos i wasnt watching. And this car slammed on the brakes and came within a foot from my body.
