true! But we were only talking about who will be attacked next - not invaded next.
Sorry for the confusion!!
Also I'm not expecting it to happen tomorrow - just in the next 2 or 3 years. I noticed Colin Powell talking about Bush having a mandate to have an agressive foreign policy - so I think attacking another country will be quite likely during Bush's term.
Regarding the Bush quote apparantly he said it while Governor - I got it from this site - http://www.emjournal.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/page001.html
some of those quotes are so ridiculous it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were bogus.
Who will the US attack next

Bosnia was a NATO operation, if I remember correctly, with U.S. warplanes repainted with NATO symbols to bomb civilian targets from high altitude.
So technically is wasnt the U.S.
Although we still have troops there I was expecting to see come home at Christmas (10 years ago)
Turkey may be scrambling to get into the EU, but I think some EU members will sabotage their joining, Secular paradise aside.

And Argentina is hoping to be the next country after that. They still have some economic reforms to follow through with - but joining the EU should really give them a boost to their ecomony.
I think that while Bosnia was a Nato operation - it was led by the US - I'm not sure on the details - but definitly US planes dropped US bombs at the direction of US military leaders - If you want to call that NATO go ahead.

I think Iran is next on the list. The US has no interest in striking N. Korea. We would rather leave that up to China.
If you have noticed, in the 2 recent wars we (the US) are fighting, we have not really lead the way. We go in sure enough and setup camp, but then we pass the buck to the locals and say go for it, we'll train you.
This doesn't make us a super power, it makes us Buck passers. We make all the stink about the Evil that lies within, but when it comes time to get our hands dirty we train locals to do the dirty work.
Which is why I don't believe we want to fuck with N. Korea. They have a really aggressive military and military capabilities, not just nuclear deterants. So I don't expect a pre-emp on that pennisula.
However, Iran is looking ripe for the picking with their recent Nuke enrichment stuff going on. This would give GW more of a spin factor to make a case for war against them. And who do you think would fight that war? Not us, we just got finished training Iraq to fight. So in essense we would be starting the Iraq/Iran war all over again.
Just My Opinion
