Otherwise, there are a couple of footbaggers in Lyon, a few in Montpellier but mostly netters. And I think Yves Kreil was in Bergerac (where Cyrano comes from), but the 2 guys he started a club with are now in Bordeaux.
There also might be some isolated shredders in smaller cities, but Paris is definitely the biggest scene in France.

Yesterday, we had a sess at the ENS, the other gym of the week.. It's a jungler gym, but they allow us to play there.. It is every Friday night, 9-12. We like this spot very much cause it's a gym (which is luxury for us), and there is a bar in the school, where beer is very cheap, and all legalized, so we appreciate to chill there after our sess... for often, a good part of the night, playing 4-square or golfing some times... 8)
Arthur, Grischa, Benoite and Jire were there.. We had quite a good sess, with no music... Carole's bag rocks!! I just had to modify the filler, but now it's great.. I've hit 2 new tricks: Ducking Barlfy and Paradoxe symp mirage!!!
I like so much the ducking barfly.. I think it's my fater trick with blurriest and diving torque.. Paradoxe symp mirage is cool cause I've just started to learn back those sympolsium tricks, and I'll try to do them in my runs now.. Pixie symp mirage the other day..;

Hmmm, I've just bought my tickets for Todexon!!! I'll be in Prague from thursday untill Monday!! I can't wait for those 4 days!!! It'll be huuuge!!

No shred this week end.. Serg is in Lyon for the week end, and Arthur went to ski for the whole next week.. bastard! So, little break this week end..

Yo! It's been a while...
We had a pretty good sess yesterday night, with 7 players I think, including Fred who was working the past weeks, so it was nice to see him! We didn't see him very much last mounth or 2 mounthes.. He was not really in yesterday, so he stopped to play pretty early, to go to the bar early! We stayed there untill 4 in the morning, and had good fun!
I think I just hit a new trick: fairy dyno... not crazy, but it's still a new trick.. Zerg just tryed and hit it for the first time too... but I think he had other new tricks yesterday... or at least during this week...

I don't really feel like learning new tricks.. I took a kind of decision yesterday night, in the bar, between 2 beers. I'll try to work hard on my flipside... Objectives: get pixie, fairy, atomic, drifter, torque, paradone, dives and ducks flipside.. The thing is that I absolutly never school tricks like Serg and many of you do... I've started a bit those days, but I'll continue, and I'll do it seriously.. actually, I'll try!! The most difficult will be Pixies! I have already hit the other tricks flipside (not fairy), but it was not really clean ans style I think... I want them before spring... Challenge..

Hmmm, don't know if I'll play this afternoon, there is a shred at Fred's parking in one hour but I don't feel really good, and my legs neither... Maybe I'll go, cause tomorrow we play golf, so no freestlye..

Hey Parisians (sic?)

Does Yves Bouqier still play at all? I assume Eric (D'Argent?) does and maybe frank (Remy?). If so, any of them gonna be at worlds?

Cheers

Hey Ben,
so, Yves Bouqier doesn't play at all anymore... I think that since I've started to play footbag, I've met him like at least 10 times, but I only saw him play once.. or twice.. He's totally out of footbag now..
Eric d'Argent, alias Rico, lives in Lyon so I don't know exactly how much does he play, but I suppose, not too much... He is still very involved in French footbag, he plays freestyle and net during the events, but I don't think he trains a lot.. He hold a comp in Lyon every year... this year, it'll be french championship.. Rico is such a cool guy!
and finally Franck Remy, as Serge told a bit higher in this post, he doesn't play more than once a week... He's still pretty good, and still has his Franckystyle, but I think that the end is coming for him... 8)

K, so here's the little report about those guys.. if you want more about old french stars.. just ask... Chacha or Miquel or Maxxx...

We've finally shreded yesterday... I had an awful sess, but good beers and party after... so today, we play golf! It's less hard for the legs!

Haha Flavio... No, life is not too busy in Paris.. maybe a little bit more than in "Wolhussen", but that's ok..
I just did no updates (btw, Serge is guilty too haha) cause I just had 2 days off, and the 2 days before, I played pretty bad, same for the days before...
You're lucky Hania to be in a good mood those days.. I'm not at all... I don't have a big motivation to shred as usual, my legs hurts pretty fast I think, I don't know, I didn't have good footbag feelings those days, so I didn't play...
Btw, I really want to kick tonight, it'll be good I'm sure... My legs are Ok, and we play in a gym! Maybe you'll have a report tomorrow.. if you're nice..

It's been a long time! I've been quite busy these days, mostly with some university work, but footbagwise, it was an ok week.

Some of the new stuff I've hit lately:
Pixie same blender (I've even managed to hit it midstring out of a DLO)
Fairy same blender
Fairy same dyno (first try ever..)
blurry dyno
fairy torque
DSO BSOS
and a very cool new 6 (in my opinion) : paradox tapping blender

I've also had some nice strings, one in particular that started with smoke and had phoenix, blurry whirl, pixie dyno and pixie paradon in it, but most other tricks were 3 adds, not many 4s, but anyway who cares about adds? It just hadn't enough difficulty between the big tricks..

Yesterday was cool, we play every friday night in (one of) the most prestigious university in France. It actually is an association of jugglers that just use their gym and they don't mind us playing there. After the shred we went to the bar inside the campus and had a couple...a few...numerous beers.. :?. I got home at 4.30 slept at 5.30 and woke up at 10 today for a fucking math class.. For the next 10 weeks I'll have to do some maths with a hangover on saturday mornings...
Tonight is party night (again..). Leuch, Arthur and myself are going in the country, 1 hour away towards the south of Paris (next to Orleans). It's the kind of party where tens of people will end up sleeping on the floor, it's going to be great! .. well, we'll see..

Hania, I've read that you hit mullet! 8O 8) 8O That's really incredible, I can't wait to see you hit it in person, but unfortunately, I won't be able to make it for Todexon. Euros in Wroclaw(sp?) may be?

Good day to you all!

Hania, I think the only Parisians who already have their tickets are Charles and Pierrot, but I'm sure Fred will be there too.

I don't have much time, so I'll just write the new things I've hit during yesterday's session :
- Rubberman drill!!!!! I screamed like an idiot when I hit it.
- Nuclear ss dyno. Another new 6, very similar to the last one. I felt it was really clean when I hit it, great feeling! It felt so much easier than nuclear ss blender, I'll try it midstring next time.
- I also footed my first fearless combo! It was sumo>phoenix>paradox blender. I footed it around 3 times, but never sealed it. Next time probably. I've also been very close to phoenix>blurry whirl>p.s whirl.
- And I think yesterday was the first time I hit mobius (my spinning is very mediocre compared to the rest of my game, but I'm kind of working on it.)
- barfly BSOS and paradox whirl BSOS in the same run, I don't think I've done that before.

That's about it. Charles was pretty hot too, but I'll let him post about his game..

right on serge! way to go with that fearless combo! fearless is fun! not to rain on your parade, but nuclear same dyno and nuclear same blender are only 5 adds. nuclear doesn't get a paradox add if the down time move is done on the same side. those are very cool tricks though! i have never hit them but i will try once i start doing nuclear again! same with the sumo> phoenix> pdx blender run, that sounds sweet!

I plan to visit Paris for the RNH contest .
Would it be possible to get a place to sleep for my girlfriend and me ?
Otherwise I guess that I won't make it due to my lack of money.

Please keep me up to date with some information about this tournament.
Thanks

Hope to see you soon! I am really curious about your improved shredskills.

Olà! It's been a while.. again..
DrJay, that would be really could if you could come to Paris! I don't know about the accomodation yet, but I suppose it is not a big problem... Last time at French Open, no one was sleeping at the hostel (exept maybe 2 or 3 French guys), so this time, you'll be almost alone, so no prob... I'll give a few calls to see where you can sleep...
I hope you know it is next week end.. and that it'll be a small tournament... actually, same as last year.. which was pretty cool tought...
Something you might don't know: big surprise guest: Mr Yacine Merzouk!!! (tiens d'ailleurs, c'est sur, certain, confirmé Yacine???)
So, I hope you'll be able to come here, to have big shreds and big beers all week end! But this time, we won't let you go with a medal man!

Yesterday, regular Friday night sess. It was pretty cool.. We were 7 I think.. I had a really good start, great feeling, doing long runs, and enjoying a lot.. Some days, I really have good vibes when I shred and yesterday was one of those days! Unfortunatly, those kind of days are getting pretty rare for the last few mounthes... I don't think I've learned new tricks, neither during this week...
I've not been really serious about with my schooling resolution... I just don't think about it, or I just don't want to spend time schooling tricks alone where as my budies are shreding.. I should do it! I will do it..
Btw, my flipside is getting better slowly.. I can hit ducking cliper and drifter flipside much more easier than a few weeks ago. Same for flip Torque..
I'm getting my dynos back bothsides, and I'm getting a pretty good fairy too.
I've hit fairy Torque and fairy drifter..

About Todexon, Pierrot and I got there for sure, and Fred is probably coming too.. Zerg--> t'es naaaze.. Shame on Serg.
I can't wait to be there!! It's in less than one mounth now!!!

Arthur is kind of injured since thursday.. He got hurt at his "footfingers".. I don't exactly know cause I wasn't there, but I know that he kept playing on it because he was warm, and the day after, he almost couldn't walk!! Sooo stupid! Now, he almost cannot play before RNH contest.. Poor Arthur...

Falou!

RNH -Contest

I do not know at what time I will arrive on friday - I guess about 2000- I do not know if the Paris crew want to shred friday . if yes I will be ready for sure.

Thanks for making this trip possible for my girlfriend and me!

Moreover we plan to do as much sightseeing as possible this weekend, I am really curious about Paris.

By the way we only need a floor or anything, really- we have a big air bed so we will be easy guests I guess.

ayayayayayaya cu on friday

P.S.: I hope I can borrow some money from a friend that I can buy a bag from one of the Paris shredders .... are there any in stock ??? ( Fred, Charles...)

Yo Jochen!
It's great you can come! We'll have a good week end for sure!!
So, as Serge told you, you can stay at Arthur's place.. It's pretty small, but as guess it's OK.
There is on Friday night a little party at the same place than the gym.. We have a place to party there... and shred, so, depends on what time you arrive, you can meet us there, or you can meet Arthur at his place, maybe if he hasn't left yet..

Arthur:06.77.12.41.35
Me: 06.87.14.09.33

I'll post you the adress of the gym and Arthur's a bit latter.. actually, I don't know them...
When do you leave??

I had a great sess on Sunday. i've played alone for 2 hours, in the freezy coridor.. I've kind of practised a routine and schooled a bit!! Nothing special, but I a good feeling.. nice runs!

Yesterday was not that good.. I've started playing net with Arthur (which is VERY good (french double champion). I almost never play.. only for RNH Contest and maybe French champs last year.. I've played pretty good at the beggining, but then I did only shit.. Next week end, we'll play double with Serge at RNH contest, and we will win!! hah..

Arthur has some problems to send his messages, so he just says hi to you!

Oh, for the bags, yeah, don't worry Jochen, Fred and I will have bags for sell...

Talk to you latter.

I will leave at 1800 and arrive at 2200 I guess thanks for your numbers.
I would like to come earlier but my girlfrined had some duties so her arrival in Mönchengladbach will be at 1730.
