May 2005 Sick One and Sick Three Events - Voting closed

Ok, Finally I got my computer working so i can vote and update this comp lol.

Sick One
Byrin - p u r e s t y l e. Don't get much better than that/
Jorden - Origional and very hard, blender looked a little thin though
Anssi - Any spin>dod move gets full points in my books, and how could I vote a haircut like that any lower?
Chris - WOAH man that set is insane! If you had gotten anything more than a ss mirage off it u would be top3 for me!
Ben - I dont like whirls much, but this is the epitomy of 'hard whirl move' and perfectly executed, props.
Nic - Ur just lucky u have shoes!
Mitya - 4 dex, insane, U would be much closer to the top with shoes tho, I got no pity for the poor
Henry - Origional man, I liked it! If it was stepping ducking u would be up the top! I just hate pixie :p
Toby - A very nice and difficult first 5. U can never go wrong with alpine 2dex moves.
Shane - I remember my old reverse whirl days, U just keep bustin those bad boys! Till you rip the ligaments in your ankle! Tight move man
Tobias - Damn, how u hit that with no lavers? Ur a born pro my friend. Pixie diving is awesome for someone playing as short a time as u!
Tom - I dont really know what a waxpin is but props on wearing shorts that short someones gotta do it.
James - That paradon was sick and in pants, enough said.
Garret - Also in pants, props for that. Blur is pretty baseline though

Jorden- You could have hit butterfly and pdx mirage as ur first and last move and I would still vote 1st, Lawnmoir between anything is SICK.
Anssi - The fact that you have been playing as long as me and hit this is amazing...
Ben - Solid, pdx torque was smooth as man.
Nic - You suck homie, this is a pity vote :p
Mitya - I would love to see you hit his 3dex>2dex>3dex combo in shoes
Toby - Solid, both sides pixie
Chris - Not a big pixie fan im sorry man, and both pixies are the same side , nice whirl though!
Henry - creative man, pogowalk seems no harder than ripwalk to me though and dlo is a pretty easy move for you I think?
Dustin - Solid 3>4>4, was a bit messy though, the ripwalk set was like knee height.
Andrew - Lookin good man! Jeremy is right, it does look like u have hit that a million times!
James Lai - Eclipse is style man, sry all the other entrys where so good Ic ouldent find anyone to put u infront of!

Finally got to see the Sick 1 video.

I think its too late to vote, and I don`t like the current system, but here are my thoughts.


Nic Bathgate Fairy SS Torque

Nice trick. Would have liked to see more control playing out of it.

Mitya Burmistrov Sailing SS Double Legover

Quad dexes automatically command respect, but the barefoot factor hurts you. Still, it was well executed (the atomic leg touches the floor, making the 2nd and 3rd dexes unquestionably legit).

Tobias Djiuardi Pixie Diving Clipper
Cool trick, nicely done. I think this trick is harder than darkwalk, despite being less adds.

Henry Griese Pixie Ducking Refraction

Not a big fan of refractions... I`d prefer to see osis.

James Lai Paradon

Nice trick, but not especially massive. Dexes could have been deeper, but its hard to do in long pants

Chris May Symposium Quantum Atomic Same Side Mirage
Now that`s what I`m talking about! Juantomic! That`s awesome! This is top 2 in this round for sure.

Jorden Moir Inspinning Paradox Blender
Definitely hard. I`d have liked to have seen a more solid clipper to end the trick though, and the blender looked more shoe-y than ankle-y. Likely top 3.

Tom Mosher Flying Toe Butterfly Gyro Toe

Was this the entry Mosher was unhappy with? I thought it was real creative and cool. Likely in the top 5. Nice and creative,

Ben Skaggs Montage

The duck was real thin, and so was the whirl. Ambitious, but the execution needs to be better for me to count it.

Shane Smith Symposium Reverse Whirling Swirl

Finally I get to see footage of you! Double helix is nice, but that swirl was with the shoe, when it should be done with the ankle. Not the, but thin for sure.

Toby Suggate Phoenix

Nice trick, very very nicely executed. Good control. Phoenix is such a common trick in these contests though...

Anssi Sundberg Superduperfly(Spinning Symposium Double Down)

Holy clean execution batman! The immaculate execution alone puts this in my top 3 or 4.

Garret Wells Blur

You get points for hitting it cleanly in pants, which definitely makes it harder. Good intermediate entry.

Byrin Wylie Irish Cream(Atomic spinning torque)

Incredible trick, that very few people in the world can hit. You could have shown a bit more control coming out of it, but its understandable.

If I had to vote top 3, I think i would go:

2. Chris May
3. Anssi
4. Jorden (this was close with Anssi... Anssi`s is slightly easier, but more cleanly executed).

Mitya or Mosher would round out a top 5.
