Tuesday 25th July
Length:
1 hour
Drilled: Stepping, Illusion, Tiltless, Osis.

Stepping getting better. Drilling Stepping clipper > Sidewalk > Ripwalk rpt. Alhough I didn't hit and longer contacts today my flipside felt a lot better, I feel like my body position is improving so I'm happy about that. Soon.... soon it will pwn...

Illusion feeling pretty good too.

Tiltless was going good until I dropped at 50 contacts flipside osis. It seems like osis > osis kept dropping today, my flipside just wasn't there to catch it, just missed it. Really weird and annoying. Especially seeing as how when I drilled osis I got almost 60 contacts. Maybe I just need to concentrate more when doing it in strings. Anyway tiltless is a lot better right now :)

How do other people do tiltless when going for length? mine has a lot of BOP's in it.

Tuesday 25th July
Length:
1 hour
Drilled: Stepping, BOP's, flipside clipper, Illusion. Random shiz.

Woo. sick session.

Stepping kicking ass! Well, uhhh, it's not kicking ass yet, but it's improving quite well, which makes me feel cool 8)
finally got stepping clipper > sidewalk > ripwalk rpt x2 and sealed it with another flipside stepping clipper > ~15 contact run guiltless. That is possibly one of the best ways to end a session.

BOP's good. practiced 'lazy osis' which consists of... well... doing osis as lazily as possible. :D :P  but got 47 contacts butterfly > pdx mirage rpt which I'm happy with. Also did some rpting flip clippers... not for too long though. but I got 23 I think which isn't too shabby. Must do this every session: it will help my flipside a lot. thx nic, I'm a tool.

Drilled Illusions, getting better. My flipside set on bubba/pdx illusion was bunk which was making them more hard than they should be... but I'm fixing it now.

Hit dellusion a few times but by everyone's accounts that's really hard. Clean? Don't ask me... need to film that one. Also got Blurrage (Blurry Barrage) a couple of times, clean? same deal.

my game feels so good right now.

Good stuff :) You will know if it isn't too shabby if you compare it to your good side... if you can hit more than 10 more consec clippers on good side then flipside needs work ;).

I think I have hit at least 50 on each side, it's more about how controlled and easy the feel (which equates to how good your body position is) wile ur doing them though.

agreed. I started rpting strongside clippers but got bored before I dropped so moved on. I was concentrating on a really small sharp set and they felt fairly comfortable on both sides.

Finally the new carpet is in yay. It looks awesome. Except mum told me I can't play footbag in my room anymore... dodgey!! Oh well, there's a school just down the road where I can play at night, and mum just said we might put in some good lights out the back so I can shred there, that would be cool.

She also asked me today "If you had money, what would you buy?" Which is ALWAYS a good question. Here's hoping.

Went searching for a new shred spot last night and there's nothing viable anyway near my house :( Mum said she'd pay to get lights for me to shred out the back, which is cool. I hope they're not too expensive.

No. of shreds missed because of stupid carpet rule: 2, possibly 3. I feel like shredding right now :(

Sunday 30th July
Length:
1 hour 15 minutes
Drilled: Stepping, Illusions, Tiltless, BOP's.

Started working on pixie today. Really can't be bothered with it, but I should do it. Left leg is retarded :/

stepping still annoying on flipside. But I did get 8 contacts of crispy torque > ripwalk rpt so that was pretty sweet.

Blizzard > Legbeater > Ripwalk rpt. yay. Flipside blizzard is disgustingly terrible. Damnit stepping :(

Might film some more this week. Don't know whether to finish that short film now, or make another shred vid, or what. Will film something probably, anyway.
And I want to start playing a lot more. I want to progress faster than this, much faster. Time to discipline.

Tuesday 1st August
Length:
2 hours
Drilled: Tiltless, BOP's, Illusion, Drifter, Atomic, Stepping.

I realised that the reason I'm having shorter sessions lately is because I have about a 10 minute warm up then shuffle drilling. Tires me out. Duh. so I left the shuffle drilling till the end today and doubled my session time :D

ripwalk was screwing up a lot of drills today, not sure why, just kept missing the catch. Driving me crazy. but still:

stepping clipper > sidewalk > ripwalk rpt x2 (8 contacts) > ~7 contact guiltless :)

I tried to get mini rubberman x2 for ages but no cigar...

tap > atomsmasher rpt.

I still suck at tiltless. Most of the session I was stringing tiltless and I still only managed 40 something contacts >< Friggen retarded, I should be getting 50+ easy by now... sigh...

Also I found some of the old carpet and I'm using the underlay as a shred mat :D It's 2-3 meters square so it's perfect size.

Thursday 3rd August
Length:
2 hours
Drilled: Tiltless, BOP's, Illusion, Fairy, Stepping, DLO, Spinning.

Good sesh. It rained today... rained, here! what the?! It never rains here... so I cleared out the dining room and shredded there :D lol

Stepping clipper > sidewalk > ripwalk rpt x2 again :D Feeling more and more consistent. Did some other stepping drills too.

mini rubberman sucked today... eventually managed once through but bleh...

My flipside clipper set is still screwing with my bubbas and pdx illusions... ghey!!

Started drilling fairy bs properly. got some good sets out. I seriously, seriously can't be bothered with pixie. Screw that. Maybe I'll learn it one day.

DLO's got a bit better which is nice.

Spinning finally started working :D I concentrated on setting then spinning and saw great improvement. 3-4 consec spinning clippers strongside, 5-6 flipside (It's more consistent but not as clean... I think I got more because I was setting across my body)

also got spinning clipper > spinning clipper bsos a number of times. At least one run it was clean both sides so that's good :)

Sunday 6th August
Length:
1 hour 30 minutes (I'm so weak!! ;) )
Drilled: Tiltless, Illusion, BOP's, Fairy, Spinning, DLO, Drifter, Stepping, Atomic

Siiiick session. Was shorter because I was drilling stepping a LOT but a busted some siiiick stuff.

stepping clipper > sidewalk > ripwalk rpt :: 12 contacts
crispy torque > ripwalk rpt :: 14 contacts
drifter > pdx drifter rpt :: 16 contacts! :D

So, stepping + drifters rocked the shop tonight. I'm really happy with how my stepping is going, it's feeling really tight at the moment :)

Illusions went OK... they don't really seem to be going anywhere, they're just... OK... and that's all... I'm sure I'll get them tight one day, so I'll just keep persevering.

Fairy's improving, got some real good sets out. Just concentrating on a quick set and having the bag in the same spot as if I just toe set it. I want to be able to string some low energy fairy shuffle relatively soon.

DLO sucked major. Just wasn't on. Atomic was... OK... but I didn't do that for long.

Spinning getting better and better... hit 4/5 consec spinning clippers a number of times today, and they were fairly straight sets. That's the point where I start getting dizzy...

Also got 20 consec drifters. Haven't skooled drifters for ages so that's alright.

I started mixing (djing) and I'm freaking addicted. I am going to take it up properly... I love it, and I took to it like a natural because I've listened to so much dance music since I was in high school. luurrve it. also bought Nelly furtado and Pharrall William's albums today. Damnit Nelly is cool now!! Love this new brand of hip hop.

Had two sessions through the week but my shins really held me back. 1 half hour and 1 hour session.

Sunday 13th August
Length:
1 hour 20 minutes (total this year: 130 hours 30 minutes)
Drilled: Tiltless, BOP's, Stepping, Spinning.

11pm I'm like, yeah... I should shred. midnight I'm like ok, shred now. 1am, finally start shredding 1:20 - decide I want to have a mammoth session and take down the clock. 1:40 - get hit by a wave of fatigue... damnit! 2:15 - head starts spinning and stomach starts turning, I think I have to stop...

So that sorta sucked. I had dreamy visions of still shredding when it's light or something... I can see it happening. I so don't want to stop... anyway highlights.

Spinning kicked ass. Fixed the posture on my flip clipper which sent my spinning cleanliness through the roof.

spinning osis bsos
spinning clipper x4 both sides
spinning clipper x3 bsos

sooo happy with that. I shredded a bit incorporating spins and it's soooo much more fun haha. Gonna drill these like crazy.

Stepping wasn't doing anything special, but I didn't have the lasting power to drill it properly.

Right now my eyelids are drooping and I'm craving the comfort of bed... mammoth session another time. :(

Tuesday 15th August
Length:
1 hour
Drilled: Illusion, BOP's, Stepping, Spinning, Atomic.

First of all: 266 osii. I kid you not. I've never felt so in control of the bag in my life. It really did feel like I would never drop. I wasn't even getting tired at all. To be honest I kind of expected to break the world record (303?) I felt so in control. That's a hell of a way to start a session

Also stepping went well but still not much improvement. Got a couple more contacts of the drill but not much really. :/ feels like the slow boat to china.

Atomic was just bleh. My flip set goes forward a lot which makes it super hard gay. Must fix that.

Spinning kicked ass. Had to concentrate a lot on flipside body position again, but it yielded good results.

Crispy Torque > Ripwalk > Spinning Butterfly bsos. I'd never hit this combo before either side so that felt good :)

Also got 12 contacts of Crispy Torque > Ripwalk... I *think*. Can't verify that one...

Beer rules. So do osii. My mate elft his dj equipment at my house for me to play with... he's the best. Except I want his girlfriend... bastard... ;)
