65-70%, but I'm feeling confident in taking a road trip to Chicago in the middle of winter. It's just a matter of prepping the trip, figuring out where to stay, who's coming along for the ride (I think it's just me, David Beyers and Ted Fritsch), budgeting and figuring out how long I'll be staying.HG wrote:are you actually going to make it this year waylon?! no more bullshit!
The only thing I have to say at the moment, in ending this post, is that I want to eat a fine slice of Chicago style deep-dish pizza or a hot dog with everything but mustard/ketchup upon my arrival to Chicago.

You'll likely eat stuffed pizza which is different from deep dish, but also invented here. When it comes to chicago style hot dogs mustard is all up ons; Ketchup is taboo, but i squirts that stuff on like an ignorant happy child.

Lemme see how many pics I can put on this page so people have trouble loading it.

In NYC, the standard fair on hot dogs is usually just mustard. Some people like to put saurkraut (sp?), sweet onion relish, or standard relish. Ketchup is a sin here as well, but peeps like that condiment for some reason.
I thought the Chicago style hot dog is everything but the kitchen sink, mustard and ketchup. I was also expecting chili and lettuce in that diagram as well, but maybe that is only in the Southern part of the USA?

Anyway, I'm going to call people sometime this week on any updates on this cross-country roadtrip to NYJ. Keep your fingers crossed (I'm doing so as we speak

Hey tom,
Didn't a Mr. Erik Chan say he is coming if his ticket holds? Put him on the list.

In response to Wasabi:
I never heard of Ketchup being a sin on your dirty water dog before in my life. This is complete and utter BS. Though that is ok, because most NYC hotdogs are allowed to have 3-5% BS, the last time I checked.
Here in Pittsburgh it's a crime if you don't use Heinz Ketchup, whenever it is that you do use ketchup. I think this rule is becoming more common.
Regarding that Chicago Dog; it almost makes me reconsider coming to this tournament!
