so is there a set date for bday jam? Tomorrow is the last day left in the ultimate frisbee season, then championships on the 25th. Can't wait to play footbag again, i played in a circle for an hour yesterday!

Just for starters, I'm thinking maybe the week of Taste of Chicago would be a good time. Its a 9 day food festival in Grant Park at downtown. Lots of food to sample multiple stages for music with the bigger names playing at the Petrillo Band Shell.

If there are any other weekend dates in the summer (weddings, family affairs etc.) that will absolutely not work for anyone please let me know so we can work around them.

We had talked about these weekends probably not working for b-day jam: Pitchfork Music Festival is July 18 - 20, Lollapalooza is August 1 - 3.

Hey guys, so the ultimate season is over and we ended up at a depressing 4-9. To top that off our coach is going to be out of town this weekend meaning our team won't play in the championships after we've practiced so hard to get to those 4 wins and lose some very close games against some of the best teams.

I have had some time to think about freestyle and I have decided that i will not be playing as much as i thought i would be from now on. It doesn't look like my knees will get better so it probably isn't the right sport for me to be playing. It is fun to freestyle but playing in pain isn't the greatest. So I am still sticking to squares and will maybe join Zeke at net.

This doesn't mean i won't freestyle again, I'm still looking forward to summer and getting a farmer's tan and sweating my balls off while playing hours of freestyle with Nathan and Tom during festivals and on Sundays, i just wont be freestyling as often.

That's a tough decision to make but I'm glad you're choosing to take care of yourself. I'm also glad you'll still be playing some, even if it isn't as often. Looking forward to kicking with you again sometime soon.
