Spring has come. I had my first outdoor session today. It was reaaally crappy - maybe because I filmed.
I was going to make a video worth of posting on the video subforum, but because I played so badly I just made a blog video.

Anz' BlodVid nr.7:

I swear I'm going to put camera aside now for a while... Except for Anz' Trikz of course :)

One week and I'm playing in a circle in Helsinki... one week...

Just curious, at what sort of temperature do you start playing outdoors? I get the impression it gets cold there. Paying badly, LOL, I wish I played that "badly" :D

It's not really the matter of the temperature, it's the time when enough snow has melt that you can shred there. For me it was about what, just above zero (degrees celsius, in fahrenheit it's the point where water freezes/melts - just in case you aren't used to celsius degrees.)
In my opinion Anssi started his outdoor season rather late. :P

Yeah it gets cold her during winters. I stop playing outside usually in December, when it gets under +3 Celcius.

And I start playing outside when the snow has melted - at that point the usual temperature is something like +10 already.

This year I had flu when I could have started the outside season - and I wanted to recover it fully before getting outside not to risk anything. That's why I got out so "late".

I got this huge idea for my next video... 8O

sweet video man! I like the music and the playing scenery though I couldnt stand playing on that surface. I liked the blurriest>pdx egg. and the double dex shiz

By the looks of it I saw some bags of concrete..would that outside area be getting concreted?
Hopefully back one day.

The song on the last blog vid was The Rasmus: F-f-f-falling

Long time no writing here... :|

Lots of stuff has happened since the last entry...

1) I'm a lifetime member of the IFPA now! :P Hurray, support the sport!

2) I got a Wheelbag yesterday! :P It's pretty small and light, but it was pretty shreddable right away.

Ok that wasn't a lot, but it was some cool stuff.

I was testing out my Wheelbag today. Filmed a bit:

Tomorrow I'm leaving to Helsinki for the whole weekend! 8O 8O 8O Circle game first time for 6 months! w00t! And maybe a couple of beers with local shredders [read: no footbag, just getting wasted - jk]
I decided not to take camera with me... Yah, I'm lazy.

Can't wait for tomorrow!

Do the Airinen's have a videocam? You'd better film something, or...

I just got back home from Helsinki.

Playing with the locals was really nice. It really boosted my imagination considering trick selection.

I played mostly with the Airinen brothers and some others from Espoo. They all have progressed much from the last time I saw them. Chilling with them was as fun as it always is. With and without alcohol. We watched Art Of The Game like 5 times during the weekend.

Naturally we played on Friday, Saturday and today (Sunday). Only time we filmed was today - not very good footage. Aleksi is supposed to make a video from what we got.

I'll take a small break from footbag now. Just a couple of days.

Yes, military.

ok - fuck breaks.

I decided to start having completely Genuine sessions. Today I had my first one, here's a vid that I also posted on video section. If you want to comment, please do it in the video thread.
http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/8341

Some nice stuff went down:
- Blurry Whirl > Blur > Legbeater > rpt > run
- Ripwalk > Janiwalker > Ripwalk> rpt > run
- Tombstone bs many times pretty easily - FOOTED B2B!! I think I can beesauce it.
The only "stepping > ss genuine trick" trick that I've beesauced before is Stepping Whirl - which happened last Friday, btw.

I'm going to film a genuine session every once in a while and try to monitor how my genuine runs improve. I'd like to be able to hit 20 contacts genuine including fives with ease by the time I go to army.

Yesterday I went to a friend to play some Xbox, but we ended up drinking beer and kicking footbag in a park with another friend with us. They need to go to work this morning, mwhahahaa.

It's a bit cold today and it might rain, so I'm not going to shred today, like I didn't yesterday. I'm going to juggle though. I bought some cheap juggling balls on Tuesday.
