Symple is like symp. but doesn't get the add because it doesn't make the move any harder. So symple swirl would be a swirl dexed while in the air I guess.

For a symple swirl, you jump off of (just) the swirling leg, do the swirl, and land on the opposite leg.

Symple can definitely make a move harder. Try symple vortex or symple reaper.

A true symposium move, the leg that stalls will never touch the ground and the support leg will do the jump, dex, and land. Such as a symposium mirage. If you do symposium around the world or symposium legover, well, it's just not possible. So those moves are called simple. I think it's a general opinion that all simple moves are more difficult, if you don't think so, try doing an easy string of legovers, pickups, around the worlds, and then try that same string with all moves simple.

Edit : adds don't always explain difficulty, there are hundreds of flaws where some moves are harder than others, with lower adds than another. And some concepts such as simple makes moves way more difficult, but it still doesn't get an extra add, so just don't pay attention to it *cough*

Edit #2 : to keep with the thread, some newer things I've hit are atomic ducking mirage, bs blur both sides, atomic ss dlo, flip dyno, blurry whirl, fusion.

Symple is kind of like a "fakey" symposium. It could also be argued, though, that any move can be symposium. For example symposium legover would be a flail bailed to the same foot after the plant.

There are symposium moves where the stalling leg touches the ground.

Frontside symp atomsmasher is one that comes to mind.

After my month and a half hiatus I'm finally back into my groove.

Today I hit PS Whirl! whee!

and I footed backside symp smears a paskillion times. I like the feeling of the pixie leg dangling there waiting.

props to everyone. I'm genuinely impressed by everyone's progress!
