Bag #20, going to me. I should have gathered a little bit more, and I tried a little different stitching... next bag will be same size more gather, then I'm thinking it's time for a LITTLE smaller template.

Ok, well, I'm starting stitching with some material that is about 2x as thick as ultrasuede light, and well, here is my first bag..Well, that I actually finished and didn't massacre...For some reason all my bags turn out tiny, so I made the template 1.5 times as big, and it is STILL tiny...

Ok well, it is a rainy day and I decided to make a second bag...

Turned out far better in my opinion. Of course, there are still little mistakes everywhere, such as random threads going places I don't remember putting them...

Any suggestions?

try gathering a little more, and getting your stitches in a straight line.

also try and stay the same distance from the edge.

that icecream pattern is sweet. lookin good.

and about the sizes of bags... its more of a preference and your style of playing. youre comparing your footbag to a footfighter. all the footfighters ive seen are on the large end of the scale. testing out different sizes by stitching and kicking will help you decide what size you want to stitch. its a trial and error process but its cool because you can see yourself progress with every bag.

my old bags are HUGE. the ones im making now are only about half the size of my old ones. ive been enjoying small bags lately.

Well Holly I'm glad to see that some women can enjoy a small things but on a different note. I agree with trial and error. The key to stiching is the keeping the stitch as wide as it is from the edge of the seam. the closer to the edge the smaller the stitch and the more per side.

And I must say holly that I was glad to see you in that pic and your bags rock. I will have to work out a trade or something.

Introducing the radioactive TMNT bag. Complete with Turtle green, Michelangelo Orange, Raphael Red, Leonardo Blue, and Donatello PURPLE. Going to Sam Mcaulay in a bag trade. Sadly... I wish I could keep it.

man donatello is the coolest. how could you get him wrong?

ive been trying to think of how to make a bag look like a ninja turtle and have a little belt around the middle with the letter on the buckle. and have four bags with the correct colors.

and i hope the bag you made is a tribute to the classic ninja turtles and not the new teen angst ninja turtles.

Go holly. the origanal turtle are the best. I think I can work out the shell thing Might have to be a 42 panel.
