man jochen, my man, i hoped too get some advisive tippps from you on the torque thiny... man this weekend will so blow... you gotta show me whirls and maybe some spinning too... i am so stocked, realy, i cant put it into words... just...woa...gonna see some guys i wanna meet for awhile now (jochen agian(yeah-its been allmost a year now) then the munich crea, the berlins...man vasek, i probably will see him, maybe talk to him... ) so i´m realy pumped, i think i will do easyon my shred plans for the next week... see alll of you there... i am looking forward too it!

too whom it may concern, i am savly back from praha, it was a blast, and i am now so dead tired that i will go too bed and write a report tomorow. way too much too write here!

so, here we go, my report on how i feel bout todexon.

first of all i wanna thank all the guys who made this possible for an blasting weekend. it was realy very well organized. the location at "abaton" was so cool, also the accomdation was very nice, a sweet camp, lots of green, and much space too shred and play golf and 4 square. realy nice.

day1:

i drove away here very early, cause i wanted to be there early. everything went good, i had jochen check in to my car in nürnberg. and then it was a wild ride too praha. i used 5 hours to praha in total, and then we got abit lost in praha, so we spend 3 hours in praha,searching the route to the camp. that was crazy, the first guy i asked were the street was i searched said "uh, 10 min from here." and 1,5 hours later we had it only "5min from here" but we found it, and thats the important thing. when we arrived we were too late for the shred, due to our... misguided tour. i saw vasek shred in person the first time, very impressive, even if he was kinda cooling down that time we arrived.
then saying hello too all the guys there, getting accomodated. then was players meeting, wich turned out to be... sitting in a pub and drink loads of beer. 0,5liters of good beer for 1,50euro, in a pub, i cant resist on that then hwen the pub closed we went home, and played a bit around with a soccerball (me, some berlin guys and riku ahola), some of the berlins went out for more beer, i wasnt awake when they returned, so i guesthey were lucky.

day2:
woke up with a big headache. that sucked. i was feeling realy down, and hungry, so we went to the abaton place, a club with several floors.all the players got thank band around the wrist so they had acces too the players area, there was a nice buffet, dexters sister cooked it all, so thanks for that, we, as we promsed, apprechiated it very much! then i had some coffee some water some food and then got ready for shred. still i had headaches, but i know that when you do something you enjoy the body produces dopamin that will amke the aches go away, so, shred away the aches. but, well, my allergies held me down all the day, so i am not satisfied with my shred overall. but i learned a few things, and more important, saw some crazy shred.

i ran around the whole day, shredding eating, having beer, shredding, watching competitions, talking too people, advertising bags, buying bags (yeah, i bought a hania bag) and shredd. i saw so many sweet things, stefan siegert from berlin is one the most out standing guys for me(you defenatly won the sick 3 for me!!!). i spend some time with him in a circle, and he can hit so crazy unconventional stuff. its a great joy watching him. also the 2 polish guys i spend some time with. olav and simon(sorry guys i dont know how too write your names) they are so good, tho i saw no nemesis but they have the potential. docjay... shredded with him a bit, good solid shred, he is good. was suprised by spinning ducking. there was also the winner of the first ever todexon open shred. andrew *forgotlastname*. very nice guy, good solid shred. you defenatly see that he is doing this for some time. uhm.... yuji(if its wrong, strike me down with karate chop ) a japanese guy who lives in berlin now, very good atomic set, but he plays unmodded climas, i told him how too meod these shoes, cause then i think his clippers and osis and all will come even better, he has some crazy clipper game for unmodded climas. he hit pheonix and rubberman both sides i thing, dont sure. but he hit pheonix, and we went crazy after that! we stood there for about a minute and tried too give high 5 to him, but everyone was so weaving around that we missed for a long time crazy guy. then, riku ahola, i shared the woodhouse with him, i watched him shred so long, he is so good, he has so good double dexes, his game is so clean and pretty intense. we taught him a bit german i am afraid to write what, cause, yeah, it was some dirtty stuff.
also i met honza weber, ales zelinka, hania, felix zenger, the berlin crew, daryl from munich (and we didnt had one kick together, damn, we need too shred in alusanne)... many more, if i forgot someone, i hereby appologize, it were so many new names and faces...

the competition was, well, i dont know how too say, it was my first one, and i have no camparision, the shreds were awesome, vasek won, who wonders, eventho i think there were guys with a better performance. but i´m no judge so i wont say something.
then they had a very cool sideprogramm, 2 jojo guys, crazy stuff. they were good, i didnt get a chance too talk too them, sadly. there was a very good bartending gir, she was good too, she nearly burned down the whole place... she dropped a few bottles that were on fire.... vasek, felix and 2 other guys were beat boxing, also very cool, this is a wierd skill too me, i dont understand how they do it, but it was cool for sure.
the beer drinking afterwards was the best, eventho i feelt so bad because of all my allergies and the asthma they bring, so i went too bed early. but i heard they partied hard the whole night. the beer was so great, 0,5 liter with 12% for around 1 euro. sick

i was a bit disappointed that i didnt saw honza or vasek shred that day. i saw honza only on stage, and vasek only the first day, when i was nearly done playing... but i saw ales play, very crazy, all that muscle, all that style, impressive man!

day3:

woke up pretty beat up, but went out, had a nice breakfast in the sun, played golf with the berlin guys, this time i didnt even loose. i think andrew did, but he had strange shoes for footbag related games. after some other guys came out of the houses we started too shred a bit. felix shredded while beatboxing(or reverse, i dont know) we talked about making bags, he showed me a few of his bags, he has defenatly the craziest fabric collection ever. facile like fabric with glitter in it... crazy, also he is so good, he will be worldchamp one day. i´m pretty sure of this. his shred30 was so cool, but that was the day before, uhm, nevermind. he even let me test some of his test bags, that was a pleasure, also he was in the same circle with me, but he went over too the better players, well, i cant blame him oh, nearly forgot, i ahd footbag history in my hands. the bag that vasek won 3 worlds, 2 euros and 3 footjams with, not so sure, vasek won a bunch of important tournament with this bag, it was so old and played out and taped and yet, it was still choice somehow. only held together by tape...

too bad i had too leave so early, cause i had too be be at work at 6o´clock today, so i missed out playing 4 square with steve goldberg and shredding with some of the guys i havent shreded the day before. drive home was nice, everythign went smooth, well, we got a bit offtrack short after praha, but that was not that much. after i dropped of jochen and jakob (having these two guys in your car is so educative, thanks for that guys) in nürnberg i went home too my place. i spend 80% of the drive on the left lane, going like 180km/h, so i was quiet soon at home, when i arrived i was like "no, i could have stayed an hour longer!" but i´m beat enough today too say it was ok the way it was.

things i took home from todexon:

a box with 50 bags from starburst, i think i will give them away too spectators, well, keep some of em of course.
1 hania bags, i think i will love this one for a long time, very nice stiching. big props too hania!
the sad feeling that felix wont make me a custom bag, he said he does not take orders anymore, so i have too check planetfootbag now, maybe they sell some.
a bag full of lead free footbag filler, i filled some bags with it, will see how it works.
some motivation too shred again, every day. cause i wanna be better at euros, i think i was very disapointing, i need too find a way too play top notch even in circles, its different than playing alone, and i need too work my basics again, i am not satisfied with them.
the knowledge that i allmost hit pheonix, hit pdx dadda curve... and close too other cool stuff...
the feeling that i will overthink my whole bag making, i think i will try out a bit, make a few changes, too the size and the weight, and all... i have too experiment now...


verall this was a realy nice and chilled weekend for me. i am so looking forward too lausanne in 4 weeks, i cant wait till then.

adendum too todexon report:

forgot the swiss guys, havent seen too much oif tina äberli and flavio lötscher, but manu(dont know last name) wqas good, he´s so young and shreds so good. he got all kinds of soinning and ducking, so much convidence and safety in his game, he needs to keep it up.

oh and tina, the anouncer had the best words for her. whenever she got onstage or left it, he was like "crazy style", she defenatly has this...MASAR(some czech guy needs to tell me what that means)

now regular blogging:

i decided after todexon to rest a bit get all pain free and stuff, of course it didnt worked out, i played the last 3 days, mostly at work and barefeet. i hit crazy stuff, like all kinds of pixie moves, on the flipside, yeay, my flip pixie is coming... had some long plo drills, and too improve my pixie i will do drills like magelan > plo > rpt for some time, today i hit it 4 times, barefeet will shred in shoes on friday, we´ll see what happens.
then i saw this guy trying symp atomic at the camp were stay for todexon, but he ended up doing zoid sets instead, and i liked the set so much i tried it out, and did symp atomic... then tested it a bit and hit zoid legover, zoid butterfly i need to get it down so i can use it in strings, but this may not happen untill i get all my basics throug again, i will drill them like crazy now, i dont ever wanna have that feeling again i had at todexon, i couldnt hit shit, tahtw as frustrating.

also i decided to change my play behavoir on event, i will at the next event first take me an hour to strech and play alone in some quiet corner, and then go into circles when i´m realy warmed up. i think taht was one of the mistakes i did at todexon, but so what, you need to learn from your mistakes!

so besides from shredding barefooted alld ay at work i just had a great session with two noobs, one is playing for a while now, and i encouraged him to try atw today... he got it bs, a bit sketchy, but hey, he´s just starting. also he had pickup on one side. and he now own lavers... and a new bag... so he can go big now.
the other one was around for his first time, i gave him a starburst footbag... his kicks and stuff are very solid, also he can stall it fairly easy. so we´ll see how he comes allong

i had nothing speciall today, i was jsut drilling my pixies a bit, also legovers and mirages, but mostly looking at the others play and giving tipps. at the end of the session i was like: "wtf, i need to check on my pixie ducking again." i tried a few times, then hit pheonix. after that one 3 more, such a sweet trick... i like it a lot. need too drill it tho, and i cant get my flip pixei high enough... that is something i need to work on too....

i will order new fabric in a few days, i want some animal print and greenish colors, and some more bright stuff, i have too many dark colors... but i wanna make bright bags, happy bags...
my stiching experiment is going kinda well, i have made a bigger fluffier bag yesterday, but its still not wha i thought of, i will try another one, with different stiching tomorrow!

so yesterday i ahd a sweet little session. were i work we had this "24 hours schwimming" event. its a big deal around here, allways way too much fun, drinking beer all night, hanging around in the pools, well, the wierd ones swimm like crazy. but yeah... the mal winner this year had around 60km... not sure. my boss ordered me too be there and watch for the schwimmers, but, when you have 100 voluntary lifeguards there (they organize this event every year) what can you do? i just sat around and tried too keep my schwimming hall clean, after 30 min i gave up and put on my goonitz, went outside and started shredding. after a little while i had a whole bunch of kids around me... they liked it, one even learned toe stalls. i gave him a starburst hack. he was like "wtf, taht dude just gave me the coolest hack ever..... yay" that was nice.
i havent hit wierd new stuff... but the days before, i had... crazy crazy, datw on my flipside, 2 times in a row, only barefoot, but when i can it barefoot then in shoes isnt far away... also i footed tripple atw yeah, but my knee hurt after that, so i havent tried since. but i had also

session for me...yeah... yesterday. i was thinking about how i could try and perform at euros. so it hought about a few strings i wanted too hit, and it was obvious taht i should practise them at least a little. so i did. i went to the open air part of my workplace, right up too the kiddiepools, cause there is a sunroof, so i´d be protected from the rain. no specials, had only my lavers with me, so it was a bit awkward. hit nice strings... i had the best idea for my routine, well, for the start at least.

today i slept too long, so i wont play, but tomorrow. i will try and get 2 hours again. i wanna be in a good condition for euros... man i´m so exited

around two hours for me, was intending too school links, but i got carried away by a sweet little concept that is known as symposium. hit symp mirage, flail symp mirage only from clipper and flail from toe and from clipper.
i also ahd my new cam running, well, i didnt get long runs on tape, they only showed up when i had the damn thing off, but a few sweet moves are in my next video anyway. and here is the link!

So here we go on a big, and i mean BIG report about my euros.

First of, un grande merci pour touts le pieds a gille, you putted together a real nice event. Big big thanks for this. Tho the food was a bit, i heard some guys ranting about it, but i liked it mostly, exept for the lenses on the last day. The sandwiches were great!

So how did it went.

On thursday 1st of june i went out of my home at 9 pm to get on my train too karlsruhe and get catched there by jochen who would drive me too lausanne from then. Untill karlsruhe everything went well, had a nice chilled wait in the local mcdonalds there and watched little boys watching lady´s butts... was hilarious, i just asked myself why they are still on the streets, it was kinda late. Well, after 1 hour of waiting i saw jochen and off we went. The drive was nice, we had much fun, especially when we arrived lausanne. After our trip too prague i swore revenge for the „missguiding“ jochen did, and i had a big time revenge we drove and walked around lausanne for allmost 4 hours untill we found the place were we were intended too sleep or even the event site, we found it around 8 am, and it was a whole night of searching, so i fell onto the net playing ground, wrapped into my sleepbag, and fell asleep.
When i woke up there were loooooooots of people, looking at me kinda wierd, they must have never seen a man sleep... there was a school class doing pe lessons, and the teacher came over and asked me if he can help me in 4 languages. he was wierd the swiss is a wierd country anyway, they speak 3 languages, and you get confused all the time, cause you know you talk too a swiss guy, but not if he understands german or if he is the french type of swiss. That got me into some troubles sometimes.
anyway, i was awake again, after 2 hours of sleep. Went over too the event site, had a small breakfast, said hello to everyone i knew, also to all i didnt knew. Then we started kicking a bit and a nice day full of shredding and 4 square began. I dont remember what everyone hit or not, it would be too much too remember. I also dont realy remember with who i played... sorry for not mentioning all of you. i had my first ever on stage shred, well, i think i could say it went good for me, i had too many drops. Like stupid drops on legovers and such. But i hit pheonix on stage, but also my show didnt went as i wanted, well, just because i had not enough time too plan it out right.
Later that day there was an event called „kick racism“. Everyone got a white shirt and a bag and we had too keep up the bags as long as possible, well, that may have been the biggest ever kick circle. I think it was a good thing, the major of lausanne spoke there, i didnt understand one word, he talked french, but i kinda know what he said, cause someone was translating for me. Then was dinner, pasta, that was good, i eat like 3 portions... after it some more 4 square and beer.
When it got late, i went too bed early, i was so done.

Then the next day, saturday 3rd of june. We went over too the shred site, had a short breakfast, we came too late for breakfast everyday, so we only got coffee and bread, and fruits. But then we started off kicking, first i only played 4 square, i got beaten up so badly the fist few tries, but even made two points against steve goldberg... somewhen we even started too play shredbag again. I had a few memorable circles for example with verena lenneis, daryl canady and jochen bauer. That one cirlce was eventually broken by vaska, it is strange playing with him, i felt as a even worser player than ussually when i play with better guys. but i got some props from him, that feelt good. At some point i went for beer, as someone told me that there is a shop that sells 1 liter bottles of beer. So i went there and prepared for getting wasted. It went well, i got kinda drunk and then the funniest part began. Me and steve goldberg sitting together with the finnish guys and teaching them bad words in strange languages. that was hilarious. I nearly pissed my pants. Also there was this reggea live concert this, so there were many dreadlock guys there and dancing and smoking pot and drinking beer, they made a very nice and chilled athmosphere there... and the strangest thing was.... untill the late night we played 4 square, it was too dark too eventually see something, but we got a winner anyway. mentionable thing about the 4 square late night action: we had this square in the entrance area of the big eating tent. And there were only french guys at first, all drunk, and then they started making rules like „if you dont groove, you´re out“. This kicked many guys out. Next cool one was „you have too hold a beer in your hand, or you´re out“ that was a fun game, but i was too drunk too play, so i went back too steve and the fins. somewhen me and the finnish guys went over too the bunker to get to sleep, the finnish guys did, but not me, because there was some sitting around and drink alcohol happening before the bunker. So i just joined. We had like cross body drinking and symposium drinking contests, and some other stuff i dont realy remember, well i think i kicked bag with daryl and we were too drunk too pass it a few times. And i learned that i realy should stop drinking vodka with all these youngsters. I still beat most, but at terrible costs.

sunday 4rd of june. I woke up with a terrible headache. And i knew i wouldnt be playing too much. So i went too the event site, and got awake realy slow, much coffee and some food made me go again, not too forget the massage that i got there on site, but i mostly played 4 square and filmed guys shredding. I wasnt up for shred. Also i watched the net games on this day. But not for long, i got a bit bored, but not by the game itself, more by the sitting around. So i went back too shred place and played more 4 square. Then there were 4 square finals. (szimon won it. Crazy style) And as i watched it i saw a circle and vaska was in it. So i just got my stuff and got over there and filmed 45 min of it... 45 min!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... that was a crazy circle. Everyone in it was busting realy hard, riku had some BIG runs, also serge played super crazy, jochen bauer too but i forgot the most of who was in there, i need too go over to editing the video so i remember again. And i think from that circle i might have exclusive vasek footage, because noone was filming that at first get exited guys.
So the day ended over 4 square playing beer drinking and eating. Then when the dinner was ready i was told that i should say goodbye too all the guys, because we would leave after dinner. It took me like 1,5 hours too get too everyone and say goodbye. The drive home went without problems. I got too bed and slept untill 3pm today, and now i sit here and write up stuff and get the videos on my destop to edit em... busy days ahead.

So i am allmost certain that i forgot the most stuff that i would have had too say, but i can edit it in here later.

uhm, i need to think about a few things that i got said at euros now. Mostly my routine for the worlds intermediate is a thing that will keep me busy in the next weeks. But, i was told that i have a pretty unique style, thats something too take home

so again thanks too all the guys that made this happen, thanks too everyone that played with me during that days. And i hope i will see all of you again in frankfurt.
