props! Nice style! I esp. liked the rubberman with illusions attempt and I liked your atoms > toe drifter BSOS also.
I thought you were missing ducks / dives in your game. Oh and here's a nice link that would go nicely in your game:
(toe / clip / pdx etc) drifter > gyro mirage or spinning clipper

hm yes my game...
its been better (like a month ago) because i couldnt play much at all for awhile because i was literally too busy and tired all the time, so i didnt play at all for like a week and a half. overall not too bad though, and im stoked to be playing constantly again now that im back home. also been stitching some...just ordered 10 lbs of size 6 copper-plated lead so i finally have a real decent filler combination. thinking of going to the Ithaca, NY jam\comp in early november (and maybe worlds 07, depending on where it is...)
like i said, glad to see you tearing it up on that video...its sick how long and smooth your runs are.
feel free to post in the blog that i dont have anytime.

Thanks for the replies
I honestly didn't expect anyone but Janis and Nic to watch it, what a nice surprise
Yeah, ducks/dives definately missing. Last video I made it was ducks/dives/spinning, so I'm getting there
They're frustrating concepts, and I'm still learning spinning, I don't think I could handle learning them both at once, so ducking is next. Thanks for the link tip. And I totally didn't notice I'd bsosed atomsmasher > toe drifter hehe, I suppose it flows naturally for me.
Pete: Week and a half? That's hardly any time at all
Glad to hear you're back at it though. I've just started stitching too, check out the "bags I've stitched" thread
I need to get filler too... 30 bucks for 10 kilos lead shot I think it was. Can't really afford it but I'm probably going to get it anyway, I have zero filler, the bag I just made is too light
And thanks but... I don't think my runs are that long, honestly
But they're certainly on the rise.

that was some crazy stuff james.
Nice first bag, if you don't want to just buy regular shot you can go and buy a pack of shotgun shells open them all up and use that. It's what I used for a couple of my bags

that was a cool video, looks like a good shred spot.
Your form looks good, really casual style with sudden burst of excitement.
Dissapointed we didn't get to shred more last week, i should've been on time.

Thanks Scott, I so hope I can make Sydney. I've got a trial at a local restuarant as a waiter this tuesday so If I get that job I will save every cent and maybe even borrow if I can, I so want to go!! Then we can shred more
The video camera ate my tape, it won't eject or play it or fast forward or anything... which makes it hard to enter the online comps
I'm hoping I can sort it out in the next 24 hours... I hit blizzard > atomic drifter > vortex - and that's not the combo I'm going to enter
I also hit rasmus, and that's not what I'm entering for sick1 either
Best 25 minutes of my life...
My sick3 is my first 5-5-5 woo!

Well the tape worked today
phew! was worried. Entries emailed off, and I'm excited about them
Sunday 3rd September
Length: 1 hour 30 mins
Drilled: Illusion, BOPs, Stepping, Atomic, Symp Mirage, Toe Whirl.
Nothing special, again just building consistency and length. Flipside stepping is still lame even though I can hit sweet drills with it sometimes... flip blizzard is a bitch and it's ticking me off ><torque> drifter > spinning osis
cool combo, although the spin was terrible
Got lots of ideas for my next vid, probably filming thursday/friday this week. It's gonna be sick
I like symp mirages, I think they'll help my style. But my flip ankle is still weak... it's been months now
And symp mirages on that leg hurt, so one sided for the moment. Oh well, at least I have a good excuse for this one

Thanks Zac
That music rules eh? It's off Cowboy Bebop, the best animated series in history. There's loads and loads and loads of music from it, and 90% is kickass.
Monday 4th September
Length: 1 hour 30 minutes
Drilled: BOPs, Illusion, Spinning, Atomic, Nuclear, Blazing, Toe Whirl, Fairy, Tiltless, Toe Drifter.
Good sesh. Discovered why spinning is so hard to set straight on flipside... my crank sucks! So I'm doing stretches and whatnot to fix it, I'm hoping that will make straight sets a lot easier.
Got a couple of awesome Sumo's, I love nuke
Hit some real sweet Blazing sets too, now that I understand whirl a lot better.
Toe Whirls came along real nice. It's great to actually understand a move, now I know what I'm doing
Fairy's coming along too. The main part is to get a straight set, if I get that the dex is easy.
Tiltless was bleh... oh well.
It struck me again today how one sided I feel, even though I can hit stuff both sided really well, it just doesn't feel as clean/comfortable on flipside...

anothe bebop fan
I'm addicted, I've watche the series 3 times, and I don't think I'll ever stop watching it.
Just wanted to add: I hit the NICEST whirr today. It was teh sex. I never understood whirls till about a week ago when I scrutinized some vasek footage, and I tried whirr today using proper form, and... *heart flutters* it was easier and way way cooler. Hit it like, 3rd try I think. Damn that was cool.

Trial at the restuarant went well tonight. Was pretty quiet so it was dead easy... it all came right back to me. I didn't get an answer straight off cause the boss wasn't around, but I'm about 99% sure I've got more work there
BTW, please don't sue me, I have no money as it is
Tuesday 5th September
Length: 1 hour
Fun session, at night under the carport, now that it's cleared out, listening to the rain... a rare thing around here. Nightime shreds are BACK
First off, another fearless sick3, completely unique from my first
matador > blurry drifter > ps whirl
I'm so happy with that. 2 interesting, unique fearless sick3's in under a week... hell yeah. And my nuke's are getting better. Footed flip matador a few times, but my foot was scraping the back of my knee, and I have major eczema on that leg, so it was stinging like heck, so had to stop.
Then worked on my shred30. Had to drop dyno's out, they're just too inconsistent
Then just worked on rubberman for a while. Footed the last trick heaps and hit it a few times. Was trying to get to 9 contacts, and although it was feeling really good I never got past 6
Also whirling ss butterfly is a HOT trick. I hit it bs tonight. Go hit it, now, you will thank me. Blazing set rules. I want to hit whirling muted bubba... that'd be cool.
oh. also.. yesterday I think, this week anyway, hit torque > drifter > spinning osis. Sweet combo. I really need to get those spinning combos going... torque is one I'll have to skool soon. Damnit, there's so much to do in footbag ><
Insoles tomorrow
