Liane didn't come to the club meeting, sigh.

In other old-news news I saw Megan today (remember, the curly haired girl) and I just held my head up and looked proudly the fuck off in the distance.

I looked so hot today too.

Fuck, lately I have been dressing snappy and with my new boy hair I look totally normalsville and ladies fuckin love it! haha I wouldn't say that any of this has gotten me anywhere but regardless, it sure boosts the confidence when you see girls checking you out while holding their boyfriends hand.

The club meeting tonight was really fun actually.
Alex, Derrick, myself and a new shredder Hugh Callaway Martin had a blast playing footbag with the jugglers. I challenged hugh to hit 10 alternating toe stalls once he had gotten them down pretty well on each side. He got totally into it and didn't give up until he nailed it! He has really really good form and I totally hope he sticks with it. Also, he is an athletic type who takes to sports well. He will have a sick style if he goes for it.

Alex however hasn't progressed at all since the first day I met him. Which is sad. It's also odd that he dedicatedly makes it to every meeting but never practices on his own time and so no progress gets made. He's a nice guy and it makes me happy that he's at least having some fun.

Derrick is so damn good at footbag! He put down his first bsos reverse fairy reverse pickups and bsos whirls. Also I saw him hit a suuuper clean asassin. OH! and he can duck his fairy sets now too! He has been playing for FOUR MONTHS!

I was working on a number of different things, I think I spent the most time on barflies. I got em bsos once after Derrick requested it.

In our club.. rather, our militia one sidedness is a SHAME and unacceptable. Both sides and/or BSOS only!

I have started doing toe set muted same butterflys, I feel like the cleaver when I do those. Also I felt like David when i hit spinning whirl.

I feel plain intense each time I try mobius, that trick is still such a thrill ride. I am blown away each time it *actually* works!

Liane's radio show is tomorrow morning, I know I will listen but I am afraid to call in. Also, I don't want to over-call, I seem to call in to all her shows now. I hope I don't seem like a pest.

Ah fuck it, if she likes me she will come around, I have made it clear that I give a fuck.

I made a real pretty footbag today during class, 4-panel silver/dark purple.
The bags I make come out really shreddable, I like them alot, I wonder if any of the people I have given bags to have ever used them. I bet they all think 'great another poorly stitched freedom ripoff, can't wait to dive in'.

I think the word that best sums up my feelings tonight is 'sigh'. I fight real hard to not let things get me down, I usually succeed pretty well.. I don't know, I guess I'm just not feeling like a rockstar right now. I need to have a sick shred session and totally fucking throw down and then have some super babe throw herself onto my glistening body and fuck me like a demon. That hasn't happened in like a week!

i'm impressed that it has happened ever. i usually have to work really hard for that kind of play. usually. and if i don't... well then i can do better.

sorry to hear things aren't going your way man. i understand about having some one come out and have fun, but not really dedicate them selves to it. hey, it's for fun right. this girl that plays with us only comes because she has a crush on a certain hackrifice shuffler.

just think about how awesome GLASS is gonna be, because it's gonna be awesome!!!! let that be your motivation to stay positive, kick hard, and keep the chin up. fuck liane, she don't know what she's missin'...

Yeah! Fuck em all! Stupid bitches! I would SO be gay if I was attracted to dudes. hmm.. I suppose that's the definition.

And no sadly, I have never been mounted whilst glistening from hours of shockingly great footbag.

And you make a very good point - FUCKING GLASS IS SOON!!!!

FUCK YEAHHH!!!!!

I just went and had it posted as an official event!! check this shit out:

http://www.footbag.org/events/show/1105686115

and I also e-mailed Chard Cook about getting this to be an IFPA sanctioned event, whatever that means. (I also asked him what it means)

I figured that since most of the GLASS organisers are stupid stoners one of the stupid stoners would have to put down his cheetos and step up and get this shit official.

Yeah!! GLASS!

I am going to drill SO fucking hard until GLASS!
Andrew's latest video gets me all pumped up!! I have watched it so many times now! I think the whole hackrifice family of movies are my most watched movies of all. They are all just so repeatable, and repeatably good!

I am talking to THE Erik Chan right now on MSN. WHOA! 8)

We came up with an idea for a jam. I participated in the Erik Chan Birthday Jam in October this year and didn't really notice that my birthday was *also* right around then. So the idea is that we should have a joint birthday party! (get your mind out of the baggy, cheech)

We were playing around with different name ideas, what do you guys think:

Happy 23rd Birthday Tom and Erik Jam
Happy 23rd Birthday Erik and Tom Jam
A Jam-bo-ree to Celebrate 23 years of Tom and Erik!
Birthday of Happiest 23rd Tom Chan and Erik Mosher

give me some feedback.

I think everyone should agree that it is ridiculous that Alaska is not part of Canada, look at where it is!!!

Why hasn't anyone noticed it's totally in Canada??

OMG OMG OMG!!

I remember reading his 2999th post (yes, I am this much of an obsessive loser) and I thought to myself "I wonder what his 3000th post will be" er something and I was bestowed with that glorious honour.

I think I am tearing up!

Toms bags are defenitively shreddable, and are very good for control, props.

i think "a jamboree to celebrate 46 years of tom and erik!" is more accurate than 23 years, because both of you will have been around for 23 years, sooooo colectivly it's 46.

I had a pretty bad ass session with Hugh and Jared yesterday.

Hugh has decided to take the plunge which is so exciting!

We made weed brownies, that was alot of fun. They were soooo rich.

I hit torque and barfly both bsos in the same string.

It was cool to see Hugh get all flabberghasted like I get after seeing Johnny play.

I was talking to Anssi on msn today and he found out I stitched bags and I offered him one to his surprise. I let him pick the colours and I went out to Fabricland and picked up a bunch of new material. When I got there I was shocked to see a bevvy of foxy ladies!! :D Apparently they restocked their staff with toit asses and nice smiles. Alllllllright.

I made his bag and mailed it out. It was fun buying postage to send something to Finland! It was only 6 and a half bucks or something.

I then proceeded to make a ton more bags. I cut out enough panels to make 6 bags, I am on number five right now. I made dark red/green for anssi, white/blue for stephen barnes, stupid-gathered-way-too-much beige/brown, baby blue/pink (SO CUTE!) and I am currently working on an all brown one using this cool semi-patterned panne. It will look sweet.

I think I need to come home for a weekend this month to secure a location for GLASS. All I need to do is scout something out. It is just a matter of being there to do it. Also, it is annoying that basically no one else is doing anything. I have it under control, don't worry.

OK, back to more stitching. Peace

Hey Tom, what kind of material do you use for your 32's? What's the cost of the material? I've been trying to find some but just can't seem to get any good stuff.

PS I wish I could go to GLASS

I have been using crushed panne/plain panne for making 4-panel bags. The 32 I made was out of some faux suede stuff that came on a long spool and I just bought a length of it.

The bag I am working on right now is out of two different suedes from fabricland. You should go there and get some material to practice with until you want to invest in some facile.

Just ask for like.. 4 inches of material, that is enough to make alot of bags, remember, its 4 inches x a meter (or a yard.. not sure).

I am really psyched on the 32 I made, shockingly, it's actually my best 32 right now. My carol, old felix and medium old felix are all too dead to play with. Yeah, the carol lasted like.. 3 sessions, sick investment.

I am going to go finish this 32, I will post pictures as soon as I have the cable I need.
