Student oath:

1. I shall observe the tenets of Taekwon-Do
2. I shall respect my instructor and seniors
3. I shall never misuse Taekwon-Do
4. I shall be a champion of freedom and justice
5. I shall build a more peaceful world

Haven't recited this in about 5 years. Reading your thread brought it back. :)

Lets see if I can remember mine, Jorden.

We develop our minds and bodies through Taekwondo. We are loyal to our country, we help one another. Lower belts respect higher belts. Higher belts respect lower belts. We respect and obey our master, and our parents, sir!

:) Yay.

And.. Thanks Peter! I think they are more bad poems.... but here's a good one.

tonight i swung
on my favorite swing
its the chair where me N AD
shared our wings
theres so many things
each with their own time
when im with her
i feel so divine
lifes a roller coaster
like red hot said
sometimes i wish
that i was dead
but most of the time
i cherish my life
and wish that time
was forever light
so i close my eyes
and try to erase
the fear of the dark
thats all over my face
and all up in my brain
like psychology
the clouds and the rain
try to follow me
but im standing with
the great AD
and she always is
thrill thrillin me
through our eyes we see
life's worth living
even in the rain
we can always sing
now we're 4 months new
as we learn each other
as we learn everything
all about each other
and every moment shared
every instance spent
is a grain of sand
in our mountain
theres so many peaks
but even in canyons
were always holding hands
respecting exacted
even in the massive
explosive radioactive
ugly discusting blackness
thats prickles us like cactus
we'll always love each other
a sister and a brother
a best friend and a lover
a father and a mother
i never want another
so every night i pray
for my soul to go to God
for the strength and protection
casted down upon
my deartest AD thrilla
sweet in my heart like vanilla
heart so big she can feel ya
smile so cute, make ya illa
soul so pure shes for rilla
and shes rubbin off
slowly but surely
turning my corruption
with her honest decency
its all in my heart
to let go from the start
to find the connection
the long missing part
that connects life and death
curiosity and faith
with her i am at home
there is no past to erase
there is only one path to take
where we learn from mistakes
and we plan out our days
filled with joyous spontain
erupting in madness
hapiness and sadness
well being and gladness
tragic aftermathes
and hope through teary glasses
that forever we have lasted
ashley is my salvation
and i am hers in turn
we are each others teachers
we both want to learn

yo believe the unbelievable
recieve the unrecievable
goodness conquers evil
within all the people
aspire to the greatness
rise above to light
inner strength always outweighs
evil wield might
but what is weight
with out time
so the need to compare
becomes defined
the wisest of sayings
if of upmost humility
has thawed out my heart
and freed the inner friend in me

wow

Ill be 23 in 43 mins. Tomorrow night is the Premiere of Freestyle Reality. Theres a chance that Ashley and I might fly to my home town of Los Angeles, CA to be in the Duncan footbag commercial. I am in love and in good health.

I know that all these things can change at any moment. But right now, is one of the great moments of my life.

:)
