Why does Daryl always write so much in here ?

Keep a diary of what you're hitting, what's frustrating you, and your goals.

The more clipper work i do, the more footbag dreams come true :D

I started my solo session with a bunch of clippers and basic drills like
ss clip>ss legover>sspick up> ss mirage rpt, then the same drill with
ss butters instead of clippers, infinities and butter>whirl.

In the spirit of anti-neglegence, i also drilled some toe moves, mainly
(pdx) illusion and tapping legover .

Playing in a powerful, yet relaxed manner is one of the best feelings
that i know of - plus the shift towards a more balanced game makes
me sweat a litlle less and makes everything look a little bit better  .

My mom likes pdx dlo .

tapping legover>ducking mirage>ss butter>pdx mir>tapping leg

d.mirage>ss dlo>rpt>sealed with 5 or so guiltless contacts

atomsmasher>dimwalk>ducking butter

ducking butter>blur>atom

PS WHIRL
to handcatch with good form

Hey J ! I didnt make it to Prague cause i celebrated my birthday party on the same weekend, and you only turn 30 once, at least thats what i've heard..
If u find the time, please write a full Todexon review in ur blog ! That would be nice .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------->

Fifth sesh in a row 8) and i found out something quite valuable for my game :
there's a fairly big number tricks that i've hit so far and many of them,
i can do on command so to speak , but i tend to neglect a lt of em,
because i dont link em to other, more standard moves.
Drillwise, my main focus was always on hitting hard ( instead of useful  ) drills,
and it happened a lot of times that i kinda
forgot about many of these after hitting them :?

So, what i do need tha most - and thats what i did 2day without knowing it -
is close work on important single moves and links !
I mean, what the use of all the variety in the world, if you fail to connect
all your different elements ?

new mini links

d.clip>blur>ss butter>whirl bs

paradon>ducking clipper

para>whirl

para>drifter

ducking butter>drifter

symp mirage>atomsmasher rpt

Mr Asmus, i'd also like to make a new vid...but...ahh srew that,
i ask my buddy to bring his cam next time we play !

Thanx Jochen !

Munich is so fresh and beautiful right now, spring is in full effect -
the perfect excuse for spending time outside with friends, ice cream,
bavarian food and beer instead of studying history :D !

My legs were really heavy from all the previous sessions, but if you're
chillin in europes biggest park, in shorts and lavers, a small session is
kinda inevitable !

I messed around, did a little tiltless, some juggling, then i decided to
try some fn single trix since i lacked focus and endurance to do anything
more crowd pleasing.
For some obscure reasons, i hit far butterfly swirl , definitly one
of my favorite feelings so far :D i dunno, but i really enjoy the possible
gracefulness and "fine-tuning" that one aquires by learning clipper
tricks like that . Juho must be such a happy boy !

My girlfriend liked the trick too and asked for the names and differences
of all the swirl moves, and after hitting far symple swirl she was like
"that wasnt bad, but i would like to see you doing that move all on one
side" . I was perplexed, to say the least - befor her request, i couldnt
even wrap my head around near symple swirl, but i've always loved it,
when Lise or Stefan hit them. Suddenly it was all crystal clear, and i hit
it after 3 minutes of practice :D thanks darling <3

I never thought that clipper tricks could be so much fun, and i also used
to believe that i will never learn them :D i never thought that i will ever
be able to hit stuff like tomahawk or far butterfly swirl .
Toe tricks used to fit my style the best, since i am not the greatest
technician, but realesing high energy in a fast and agressive way is
excactly my thing . The little advancements i made in regards of fine tuning
and a more relaxed, technical way of going about the whole footbag thingy
made me realize how hard dominatrix actually is !

In that spirit, i worked some more on clipper tricks and links, mainly
whirl, drifter, ducking butter, symple swirl and paradon .
The session itself was kind of funny, cause i never footed more kool
stuff in one sitting and felt like progressing nevertheless .

I know what to do to get clipper set drifter down, i found a more efficient
whirl tech and i believe in the whole "impossible is nothing" more than ever .

THANK YOU FOOTBAG .

its normal for kids your age to experiment with all kinds of substances...
and some people continue this way, which might explain this :

Image

other than that i hit :

spinning clipper>blur>butter bs ( almost b2b )

tap>ducking legover rpt

ss butter>diving mirage rpt

ducking clip>tomahawk and ducking clip>spinning clip>tomahawk :D

Thanks Bjoern ! Next week sounds good :D

Before Work Session :

It was mainly clipper to clipper, i skooled ducking, stepping, butters,
spinning clipper, whirl and combinations of those.

spinning clipper>>whirl bs

ducking clip>diving clip>whirl bs

ducking mirage>butter>whirl>pdx mir>d.mir>butter>whirl>catch :D

sidewalk>ducking clipper>rpt
- i wanted this combo so bad, since i saw Stefan doing it in Ians great Heroes vid

butter>whirl>rpt gets heaps easier, so do ducking clip>stepping/whirl .

hooray .

That two day break was much apreciated by my legs, it felt good to
be all fresh . Still working on the same downtime moves, still trying
to get efficient bops and reliable dexless abilities .
I also practiced stepping, double dexes, pdx dlo and atomic.

paradon>pdx mirage>rpt>nice seal

paradon>ducking butter bs

long ducking/bop runs

ducking clipper>stepping clipper>symple swirl

atomsmasher>paradon>butterfly swirl - easily the coolest sick i've hit
so far - it was completly random and second try :D

it felt good to hit pdx dlo, para, drifter, whirl bsos midstring

longer runs with a nice mix of elements - yeeeeey !

Hi Asmus ! What is the bap drill ? Anyways, i have hit a six - phoenix rake -
getting the cleanliness twice after 50 tries, so i decided i'm not quite ready
for that kinda stuff . I'll learn ps whirl real good, then i give it another shot,
just gimme two months  ! What have you hit - i bet its something
unusual and stylee :P

I guess i'm at a crucial stage of my footbag developement right now ;
all the clipper trix i've been drilling begin to make sense midrun, the toe
stuff, flip pixie excluded, is still there . My runs are still abit short, but
the time for integration is nigh and i just have to remind myself how
happy i will eventually be whenever i get tired of skooling .
I dont have any exciting things to post, its always the same stuff,
just put together differently, some runs are shorter, some average around
acceptible 15 contacts . I cant wait for the times when i can hit everything
in one run, well "everything ", but you know what i mean .

Until that big breakthru is in full effect, i will rather talk about my feelings
towards footbag than posting every little combo that i nail for the first time.
Unless its something that i want to share, like my last sick 3 .

It feels good to start strings with spinning clip>stepping something,
it feels good to hit paradon and whirl midstring more often, both sides
of course . Another cool thing was that i was able to seal symple swirl
with osis and pdx mirage for the first time .
Re-working clippers is probably the smartest and most rewarding thing
i did footbagwise so far .

yeah.

Yeah its unuasual and stylee but still legit and cool as hell.. hehehe.. will hopefully post a video of it soon.

Talking about video.. You should make one soon!
