I'm sorry but I'm going to have to take kevins side on this one. nobody knows this, but my right knee is injured so that I cannot do dexes with it now. that is why there are no flip whirls, blenders, paradox whirls, etc. lately. I tried tonight, but it was too early. KEVIN, you are the BOMB DUDE! and also, I highly reccomended you to be considered for a sponsorship with one of the baddest footbag companies the other day too.

Some of that stuff I didn't know you could do. really liked the diving clip>symp whirl and phoenix.

I know you've heard this before, but don't forget that dreaded flipside. the sooner you start trying it, the better off you will be in the future.

Nice form on your infinities

what does HXC stand for?

HXC is "Hard Core" and there is an x in there for some reason.

if anyone knows why there is an x in hxc for hardcore, go ahead and post it.

also about flipside, I did a really long string of ss flip clippers, most likely 20 or so, but my right knee is injured so that if i try dexes with my flip it hurts real bad, so my flip is kinda on hold.

the phoenix was really suprising to me because I have done it before, but it has taken so many tries to get it... but that one was FIRST TRY, so I ended my session and went home.

THANKS for the comments!

Contrary to what has been posted earlier, the X wasnt simply put in hXc because it looked cool. It originated back in the punk scene in New York back in the '80's.
Originally, NYHC was written on a white shirt with the N to the left side of the X, the Y to the right. The H was at the top portion and the C at the bottom. Looking similar to this:

\H/
NxY
/C\

This is back in the day, before the labels of "emo" or "scene" or some other moniker the sheep can come up with.
This was Punk, it was Anarchy, it was Hardcore. Not the sad perversion that it has become today.
"The Mob" put NY hXc on the map.

adj. (music) referring to the hardcore scene, especially of the straight edge variety (symbolized by the x)

n. (music) the hardcore scene, of which there are two major varieties:
1. fashionxcore, etc.: the blood brothers, eighteen visions, atreyu, the bled, etc.
2. old school/tough guy, etc.: madball, hatebreed, throwdown, bane, converge

This bandana will make me look so hxc.

:D
I was watching your Worlds video of Vasek's circle footage. I totally noticed something new! In that one run he doesn't open with the backside fission (furious illusion) trick that he usually does, he did "downtime" (it's more like completely uptime, like all dexes as one set!) backside FURY BSOS, and THEN backside fission on the one side... wow. That's merlin with an extra dex at the beginning!

what do you mean stop hand catching?

the only time I do is when I get what I wanted. should I stop catching and keep going in a string even If I have accomplished what I wanted?

thanks for the prop.

you know, its crazy cause I get done with a practice and I think, man paul, you are progressing at snail pace. way too slow. leave this sport up to the guys who can actually do it, and then alot of you guys say I'm going fast. so I guess I better listen to you guys.

ok, so this will be about my 3rd or 4th post about osisis.

last night I was analyzing my osis and comparing it to others osis.

would you believe that I BELIEVE that your arms have everything to do with osis?

when I was doing an osis, i was looking over my shoulder to see the bag and the placement of my foot.

when I compared it to sporatical distractions (osis master) (Kevin Crowley's) osis.. he is looking under his arm, at least that is how I remember him doing it, let me check the vid to make sure a minute

brb

sure enough, and if there was an osis I'd wanna copy, it is his.

he has his upper arm about perpendicular to his body and perhaps set back behind his shoulder a tad. this opens up the window for viewing where the bag is, and where the clipper catch should be. THEN you can properly get the osis the right way from there on.

I tried this technique many times, and I also tried my old way. the Sporatical way is far superior.

I will own osis, it will be owsis.

ON ANOTHER NOTE.

I am pretty good at whirls, smp whirls, rev whirls, but I came across a huge deal with them last night also.

because My flip knee is busted up because of poor flip whirl form, i analyzed my strong whirl as compared to my flip whirl and came to a great conclusion that will ultamitely shape up my game all around. IM stoked.

the whirling leg should have the knee point inward, toward the inside of the body, forcing the dexing part of the leg to go outward, near the bag which was set straight up. now lift your lower leg STRAIGHT UP, and dont force your lower leg outward for the dex, or else you will have pain like me. now you have to bring your knee back to the forward position on the way down to have your plant leg ready to have your opposite clipper finish off the move.

I KNOW that was elementary, but something wierd goes on in your flip mind, like "I can do the trick on my strong side, it shouldnt be no big deal on my flip" and I go for it and it sucks. cause I dont have proper form. form is absolutely important. don't get hurt. do it right.

watch out dudes, my game is about to explode, Lord willing.

here is all I can say for ME. before I played in rod lavers, I was ok, but when I put the rods on, out came the game.

before I played in brocka mods, I was ok, but when I put the brockas on, out came the game.

to all of you who haven't, and have been wondering about brocka's. do it now. OMG.

thank you JESUS!
