me an nick went to ryan straubs today. every one was new to me. tim harper an tims brother came 2 hours or so after me an nick. ryans game grew great just from the time we had. I think if he wants to, he could do very well.
Tim was linking some good guiltless stuff. i was really impressed an look forward to playing with him in the future, that goes for all 3 of the guys since im only a hour away from all them. i plan to kick with them all again soon.
tims brother ( sorry im bad with names ) is doing very well too. he seemed a little shy about his game at first, but from what i seen he has a good titless foundation

that nick guys games ok :P i guess....
he is string really well. his revstines an ripstines are really looking good. he drills them so much that he is eventually gonna add them to his mid string trick list. nick has style, an is just fun to watch. its great to have such a awesome idiot for a shred partner.
:D

today i pretty much had fun doing strings to songs an hitting combos on que. at one point nick was taking a break an helping ryan so i went to the side an had a good 15 minute in the ZONE fun time :) cant remember what all i was hitting

bob challenged me to do whirl>pdx mirage for my next drill session... i dont have a flip whirl. i can but it is soo hard, i usually end up slamming my foot in to my support leg. non the less he gave me a hour an im gonna try.

on new years i footbaged at a friends party, most of the people i had never met. i put on a great show an then had a great time partying.

Today, while cleaning out my closet, i found a ziplock bag filled with my first self stitched bags an all my old bags i bought from my high school days. I forgot about them all, these are 6 years old. i counted all the bags i made then all the ones from my teens to 30s i have laying around. i went threw all my photographs. I counted ones from memory that i gave away or sold an didnt take photos of an I was surprised that i stitched a lot more bags then i thought. The number i came up with is 96. i thought i was on 70. im glad i found this bag of bags today an was inspired to figure out how many bags about im really at. i kinda wanna keep track.

i should take some photos of my first bags... there pretty hard on the eyes.

And I You, Zachatree. :P I probably wouldn't have stepping and pixies and some other sets... well, let's just say I would still be setless and tiltless without you :P Thanks for the kind words man. I've really been inspired by Ripsteins lately. I want to hit every version of them on both sides. You've definitely come a long way too though. That first day you showed up at my apartment door with that lip ring and a man-purse, you could hit some ripwalks and pixie tricks, but now... oh man, your stuff is really looking dope. I start my new semester this Monday, so I know we'll be shredding a lot. It's sick we really expanded our crew by a heaping handful of new kids. Can't wait til you meet some of the other new guys. Definitely wanna plan a jam at my apartment soon. I'll let you know about that later. And I definitely want to check out those old Tree Bags. Alright dude, I'll catch you this week mayhapsfully. Peace brahh

lifes gonna suck, gonna be hard to fish an unless u come to me ill be kicking alone. its gonna make finding a job harder too... what a stupid system, a good guy gets busted with a plant an the government takes away everything that made him productive? where is the sense in that?

well, didnt play AS well as i hoped. started off a bit slow, but i did manage some good stuff.

 to my flip pixies, i actually have confidence in them for the first time.
 atomsmasher>smear>atomsmasher
 flail... bob asked if i could do them, i shrugged an gave it a try an did it. i had pretty much time after the dex till the bag hit my toe, bob said to try a legover after it..
 symp eggbeater? flailing op legover.
 ripwalk X3>blurry whirl. i need to work on my whirls bob says there not quite as deep as they should be.

i hit a bunch of good guiltless stuff i cant remember it all, a lot of new stuff.

we started a game at the end of are session where we tried to go guiltless as long as we could... i wasn't happy with what i got. i feel like i should be able to do much better. now i have a goal tho. goals are good.

im looking at getting a video camera. i think if i filmed my self an made videos it would push me more, an help me see what some of my flaws are, along with the help from the community that could be offered.

tomorrow im gonna try to do ripwalk>pdx mirage. as many as i can in a hour.

wanted to have a hour drill session, but had to cut it short after 20 some minutes due to leg pains caused by the long session yesterday.

bobs request ripwalk>pdx mirage>ss butterfly played in the small space in my basement. if i was in a bigger area i would have for sure hit a few extra.
my longest run was 3 in a row, once again, could have gotten more if the space was bigger. the small space will pay off tho, control.

That's one thing I like about playing in a small area. It always bugs me when I see players all over the place in a string. It just has a sort of messy look to it. So, I can totally see what you're saying.

I too think that moving around to much is messy.

Had a 4am flip swirl session in my room. My flip swirl was Non exsistant. So I set out 3 goals an wrote them on the white board.

Do 10 flip swirls
Do swirl>swirl
Do clipper sole> swirl

I crossed all of them off the board in only 30 minutes.
This morning I woke up. Threw my shoes on, an first try swirl>ripwalk>swirl

I have a ways to go till my swirls are even.
Next is flip whirl. If I can get them both on my flip consistantly I will have elimanated a huge obviouse hole in my game.

 inspinning osis < cool an hard.
 doing flapper stalls, flapper double taps, an swirls like a monster. nick complementing me that i look like him with my sole control

:!: footed reactor

i dont remember much else. other then me an nick both did 40 consecutive legovers mirages infinity an 10 consecutive swirls.

cool tyler its cool that your playing.

so today i got something sweet in the mail. For over a year i have been in the market for a video camera. After to much research i found a kickass camera on overstock.com for 42% off the retail $380.00 price tag.
it shoots 1080i 60fps an has a vga 4.3 mode that shoots 240fps an can do time lapses an a bunch of other stuff ive yet to discover.

pretty stoked, never had a digital video camera before.

Yesterday i drove to Harrisburg to the biggest joanns fabrics in the state... they had junk for stuff. the local one where i live has more of the stuff im looking for.
on the way back a fellow footbager, andrew contacted me an wanted to play. i called nick an we met up at my house an stitched for a hour or so before going to my basement to play.
andrew left an me an nick had a fun session, even tho i pissed nick off..

looking forward to editing video. its gonna be awesome to see myself play, i feel it will help my progress a lot.

To anyone who reads my blog, for a limited time, paypal me $5 dollars an i will send you a random 2 stitch footbag.

one last thing, im having a guessing contest. http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=22095 no one guessed the number yet. i guess ill end it when someone dose.

VW's Suck.

I sent you a PM about that 2-stitch deal. Also, nice camera. I look forward to seeing some high quality footage of you and the PA crew. I hope I can get some time off from work in the near future and come visit you guys for a weekend or something. Maybe in the spring so you can teach me how to catch a carp proper.

Peace

Sweet vid, but try to figure out how to fade out the audio instead of it stopping abruptly. It'll be more aesthetically pleasing. Just google it or something, it's rather straight forward usually.

Hey man...I enjoyed the video. Nice camera

Just a tip that will help alot

1. When you do a clipper, your elbows turn in and the palms of your hands face in and up towards your chest.....try not to do this...it is bad for balance. Instead try to keep your arms relaxed and mainly the palm of your hands facing down or back...but not up and in with elbows down. Watch any video of norek or Moir. Try 20 alternating clippers with this. I have a tendency to turn my right palm in and it takes repetition to break this.

Good luck

oh yeah...got the 2 stich in and like it alot. Will session soon. 8)
