I went to the health center a couple of days ago for my cold and their advice was just to toughen up. it will be over soon

I have since gotten worse and worse and went back last night. they kept me over night giving me treatment after treatment after treatment (at least I got my math done in the mean time

) I was released this morning with SEVEN prescription medications. Basically what happened is that the coughing from my cold irritated my lungs and airways and swelled them up with pussy discharges clinging on. Then my lungs and airways became elongated and became even thinner and more narrow. I was told that it would be a month before I get better.

i was given:
zithromax (antibiotic)
advair (powder put in an inhalation device)
albuterol (normal inhaler)
Lidocain/Mylanta/diphenhydramine suspension (numbing syrup)
Codeine syrup
prednisone (steroid)
and one more that I have to pick up at 1:00.

each one needs to be done 2-4 times a day. I'll be missing lots of work but still plan on going to sjff. I will definitely play at least a little, but will probably spend most the time chilling and possibly getting footage

I can't drink or smoke for at least a month. The latter of which my longest break in six years has been a week and a half. It'll be good for me but I am known to get extremely irritable if I don't smoke. fuck alcohol. that will be easy to go without.

Nooo!!! The "intermediate" (hah like we're intermediate anymore) reunion is postponed! I wish you didn't always seem to come down on something before festivals! Well, regardless, I really hope you come. It would be shitty not to be able to hang out with you this weekend. You should post when you know for sure whether or not you're coming so I can either freak out and be ecstatic or be immensely dejected.

Anyway, here's to health! Feel better soon (please :p)!

hey james, i'll get footy for you. and hey, i have an actual camera that I got over the summer. remember the old cam? my only footage from css is both of us ripping on that crappy cam.

I kicked yesterday. could only get about 15 minutes in before my coughing fit but then I just did random barefoot moves. it was fun. footed frantic mirage. kept trying frantic anything. tried frantic ducking but the set was about base of the rib cage high and I almost ate shit into the wall after completely missing the duck

my roomate who has been drilling his kicks and his toe stalls got toe>spinning toe bs. damn, i've been trying spins for months and i still suck horribly at them.

half of my meds will be done by monday. the other half will go through the month. my mind feels sharp from sobriety. weird.

Alias was rad. I had a good talk with him afterwards. he is a very down to earth guy and he seemed very appreciative of what I had to say. there was a belgian band afterwards called styrofoam. they were also very good. they were a lot like postal service but with more crazy keyboard distorting phasery and electronica beats. hell yeah.

i played a bit yesterday. kept trying fairy tap>tap>rpt. I have trouble with taps so I figured that that would be a great drill. still have yet to get all four contacts though. I have been slacking on fairies and it feels like I need to relearn them.

two days ago me and my roomate just chilled in my room and did stretches for about 2 hours. my legs during yesterdays session felt super flexible yet vey weak. i could barely hold myself up. strange

Got gas for my truck, now it won't start. I think it's probably flooded. Tried jumping it and that didn't work, so that's my next best guess. Brent didn't want to take the time from partying to assess the problem with me, so if he's pissed at the fact that I'm not there, he can kiss my ass.

Anywho, I don't have to work until Tuesday because of SJFF 4!! I'm pretty happy about that. What I'm not too happy about is that I might not get my check from BK on Friday morning or anytime before...I really hope I can because if I don't, I'll be fucked.

Hey Sam Potter, if you read this thread at all in the next day or so, do they have Albertson's over yonder in Seattle? Wait, I can PM you this...

sjff kicked ass. had sooo much fun kicking with everyone. i suck at write-ups so here's a piss poor job.

left thursday and stayed the night at riley's sisters house.She is an incredible cook and I was more than happy to eat all of the food she made. the ride consisted mostly of anticon, rage, and necro beats.

friday we woke up and had a mini shred sess in alison's garage after some pomegranate tea and scones. we toured tumwater park (which is incredible) and came home to the best home cooked meal that I have ever had. we then went to shred. first person I saw was a crazy styley spinner and ducker. I didn't realize until he was four feet from my face that it was no other than luis. the evening started in a circle with luis and sam. sam is sooooooooooooo good. soooooooo controlled. such tight dexes. booyah. i love kicking with sam. luis is just pumping with style. I kept leaving the circle b/c I saw faces that I hadn't seen in awhile. old man erickson and nate were busting in a circle, james was in a circle near them. yeah. fun. scattered thoughts. this post will have no flow but whatever. played with them until we had to leave. went to the renegade show and MET SPOONMAN!!!!

Not much has happened.

Got wasted on Friday night with Nick and Brent to drink away the sorrow that I couldn't go to SJFF 4 due to lack of funds until 1 P.M. that day.

Chilled on Saturday because of Friday.

Got wasted on Sunday while watching the Pittsburgh/Cleveland game on ESPN with Rachel.

Chilled on Monday, then got drunk later on that night with Mike and got bak-aked.

Worked on Tuesday.

Worked yesterday and kicked with MFA. Hit tapdown four times at the flagship thingy then footed torque later on.

On another note, while I was kicking yesterday, my hip tweaked after doing a mirage for some odd reason in the same area it was tweaked a few weeks ago. Feels fine now, but it hurt like a mother at the moment.

i played quite a bit yesterday and the day before. sjff has inspired me to try a lot harder. on wednesday I came one dex away from rubberman six or seven times and hit dolomite for the first time. worked spins. hit merkon, spinning osis, and spinning butter all bsos in the same string. i was stoked for that. yesterday I tried learning spins better. drilling spin osis>spin osis, merkons, bsos gyro butter. hit spinning osis>pdx torque. tried whirlwind for the first time and it felt great (for that one attempt, the rest sucked) still missed it though. evan tried making up a routine on the spot and so did I. used michael jacksons thriller. that's the only song where I can stay on beat. hit ps whirl 4 times in that routine and dropped the bag six. 85% of it was 2 adds. it inspired me to try to come up with a routine.

Well, my douchebag boss, Allen, decided to cut a bunch of people's hours, including myself. Why, I have no idea. He said to "work hard and show that you want to work." Well, gee, I work my ass off every shift and I show up when I'm not needed for a shift. One day I worked from 12 to 12 and I didn't get any recognition for it from that lazy ass. So, I started job hunting in case my hours don't go back up (I had a long talk with him about my schedule because he's got a bunch of pre-release ex-cons working for him and they all have to leave at a certain hour - the other night I was there until 2:45 in the morning because they all had to leave at midnight). So, I'm pretty pissed about that. I'm even more pissed at the fact that my windshield has spiderwebbed even more. I need to find funds to get a new one.

My student loan got turned down. I'm going to call them and bitch at them.

I hate my life.

saturday: woke up and ate some donuts. got harassed by an old vietnam vet that called me ungrateful for what he went through and then proceded to blame me for the genocide of american indians. when we arrived at shred I played a little foursquare and then started to shred. the funnest part of the day was james and I trying to imitate every move brian did. spent awhile trying barfly>barfly with them. met rory for the first time at a toe spinning seminar. that kid talks like, looks like, and has mannerisms just like my friend will from chicago. weird. I enjoy hanging out with rory. cool kat. just wandered from circle to circle and watched competition. james and I just obnoxiously shouted out made up moves for people to do during their sick 3s. the public show was held that night and was fun. went to a players party afterwards and tried to kick with edmonton, james, and noah. went to the hotel. fell asleep. more later

Went in to work last night to get some free food and ended up going to Albertson's three seperate times for beer. First, Stephanie gave me some dope ass food if I went and got her some smokes, so I had to get her some smokes and go buy Cody some bitch beer (Smirnov ice). Then Katy wanted some bitch beer, so I got some more. Then Stephanie finally gave in and wanted to get some real beer, so both of us chipped in on a 12er of Trout Slayer because I found out she likes it as much as I do. Drank in the back at work for a bit. Then Stephanie and I went to another Katy's house and found out she wasn't there, but was at some punk party down the block. So, we went there and it was something else...damn punks. I did get props for being the only person to be able to pick up this one dude's cat without the cat getting pissed. I think I hit on Stephanie (who's also my manager) a little bit.

What I find the funniest is that after I went to Alby's for my first beer run, the broiler got fucked up some how. So, after checking all the breakers to make sure none of them were tripped or burnt, I checked the plugin on the broiler and it got unplugged. Then I figured out how it got fucked up in the first place. I hate stupid people. I hate stupid people at work even more. So, pretty much from around 9:30 p.m. last night I worked off the clock to help make sure the place wasn't shitty and looked nice.

Oh yeah, I had a Smirnov last night for the first time since MFJ 2 when Byrin gave me that one...then I traded it for a bowl.

Had to work from 4 to 8 tonight. Most of everything went smooth. Then I was supposed to show a person how to change razor blades on the broiler scraper. That turned out to be a bad idea. Whilst I was changing blades, the tool slipped and, instinctively, I tried to grab it and make sure it didn't fall. The blade lacerated my palm and I had to go to the hospital to make sure that it didn't require stitches (which I knew it didn't from my past medical experiences from the U.S. Army, but my mother wanted me to get it checked up anyway), so, I went to St. Patty's to get it checked up. Didn't need stitches. The walk-in didn't cost me anything; well, shouldn't because of worker's comp. Came back to work and finished some stuff up. Went down to the Mo Club and got whasted because of the wound.

I don't know, but it seems as if everyone around me is turning against me. My family has already done so, so I don't want my friends to. It just seems as if everyone in my life turns against me at some point. I even told one of my close friends "my family's turned against me, don't you turn against me..."

I dunno.

Life sucks.

I'm at the point where I want to just go back home. I've already lost everything.

Since I was off the clock and they needed help, but Justin couldn't let me clock on because of labor, he let me put a green shirt (crew leader) on and help a little bit. I tried in vain to get drive times. Had a couple of Tilt (Sparks-like) malt beverages and got pretty ripped.

That entailed my work day. I was there for about four hours and only got one hour of work. Oh well, doing crap like this will help get me my raise and/or promotion.

Forgot to talk about my day yesterday.

Worked for a bit. Got pretty high. Helped train. Then got wasted with my manager, Stephanie, and went to a bunch of bars downtown to celebrate my "birthday." Well, my birthday according to the state of Oregon. So, I ended up paying $1.25 for the entire night.

Woke up pretty hungover and went to work. Convinced Stephanie to let me close (didn't take very much because I know she likes me) and got pretty high. Split my Tilt with her and mopped the lobby for her after I clocked out. Then I got high.

On the footbag note, I'm starting to feel weird cramp like feelings in my glutes and Achilles' tendon and when I'm sitting in a chair and move my leg closer to my body my hammys start to cramp. Anyone know methods that might help make them go away?

I can't wait to kick tomorrow. Hopefully things will go good.
