Hey guys!

So Nick Laroche is in town!!!

And Scott Ellenberger (net player from Winnipeg) is also gonna be here in a couple days!

So!

Hows about a freestyle/net session at Trinity Bellwoods Park this Friday??

I finish at noon, Scott is free all day, Nick probably in the evening, and so if the weather is right, that seems like a good place to jam... yes?

I don't have a net, but Tom did have that crappy badminton net, maybe he'll bring it... I'll pm him about it. Actually, I'm also gonna message the TFC (Toronto Footbag Club) and see if they'll respond about playin some net!

We could also kick Wednesday night, I think I'll prolly get together with Nick then either way.

SO: FRIDAY!!! CALL OUTS TO MIKE FAILLE! Greenwood! Josh! Danny! Tom! ... anyone else around?

HA!!!

I called the first number on the .org listing, and I instantly found a woman who has a net and wants to play!!!
WOOOO!!!

Her name is Lori and we're meeting at 2 pm on Friday at Trinity Bellwoods!!!

On the concrete near the washrooms where we always play.

You fuckers better come!
Haha
I'll be playing net with her and probably Scott, til whoever shows up joins in!!! And then we can start freestyling too!

I'm so excited and so is she! She says the club was pathetic and she had a really hard time getting people come out and play. So let's change that and

RESURRECT THE TORONTO NET!

Oh I'll come by for sure. Maybe try out the net a bit, and lay down some tricky tricks.

I was thinking about it and I think it might be better to play at the top of the hill, where the hockey arena and the baseball field are. We'll still meet at the washrooms at 2, but soon move to the top of the hill. So just find us; call my cell if you can't: 416-602-1985.

If there aren't any fixie guys in the arena, we could probably shred there... haha, funny that I think of fixies instead of actual HOCKEY.

There's still a bit of concrete around there we could play on if the arena is occupied.

And yeah, the field there is WAY better for net than the one in the bottom of the bowl.

I've also requested that some Chinlone/Tawkra go down at this, so I'm hoping a few of those guys come out too!

See you all then! :)

I can't make it friday. I have to work and there is no one who can cover for me.

FYI- if you plan to shred on the concrete in front of the hockey rink, be careful. It's really abbrasive and has eaten more than a few of my bags. The surface inside the rink is buttery smooth, however.

Sorry I can't make it (yet again). :(

I'll be there sometime before 5.

I haven't played footbag in a week! like...seriously...

That's a lie. I played a bit today and hit some nice guiltless links with a fucking sandbag, which doesn't actually count as real footbag anyway.

So I stand by the fact that I haven't played footbag in a week.

shit, thanks for the tip Mike. If we can't play in the arena we'll play down by the washrooms.

Can anyone please bring an extra pair of shorts for Scott? He didn't bring any cuz he's just here on tour with his band.

Pretty please! Thanx.

Cool. I'm gonna grab some breakfast then I'll give you a call. I have a blister on my foot from dancing last night, but if I bandage it up I'm sure it'll be fine.

I miss you FAT!

I'm up for shred next weekend if anybody wants.

So, I've been shredding in front of a big mirror in my room (how vain!). It's really helping! I corrected my arm posture for clippers and am already seeing results! 37 alternating clippers! I know I can beat that too! I just got tired 'cause I've got a cold.

Just wanted to say hi and let you all know I still love foosebag.

Sorry for not calling you Josh. I tried shredding a bit as a tester and my blister hurt my foot too much. I was only reminded when Adam texted me, so I'm assuming he told you what was up. I'm posting this just in case. =)

I'll be good to go next weekend.

PS - Sam, I met your sister today. She lives in my building :)

Just thought I'd share....and no, don't worry...you don't have to give me the ole' "if you break her heart, I'll break your clipper ankle" talk...We just met :P

No way! That's a pretty funny coincidence. Seriously about the heartbreaking, though. I know your style: Love'em and leave'em. I don't want to be having to fight ya when you come back to the dot.
