so i had a session today and it was going wicked good like i was hitting really solid strings like clip>far clip>far pickup>clip>far clip>legover>clip>far osis>diving clip>far ducking clip>far clip> stepping mirage>hand catch......hawt. i think i am tons better than that though, i KNOW i am, i could put in spinning or frigidosis, butterflys, pixies, more ducking, rev whirl stuff, DATW, mirages, flip stepping, more symp stuff. i really feel like i could have done huge links today but then i got too excited and busted out the video camera.....it just took away all of my confidence and i lost my game, it just went straight to shit. so that sucked. hopefully i can get my shit together tonight and have a better shred...

good to see you are stepping it up a bit, and don't worry about the camera, it's important to play just for yourself sometimes.

just curious, which direction do you prefer for datw?

i noticed i always focused better when my mother came outside and i was able to be a lot more controlled and consistant, hitting bigger stuff mid string. so i came to the conclusion:

Video camera: bad
People: good

But its true, i try to impress people so it makes me focus but when i have a camer there is no one visibly there to impress so i get nervous.

my b2b clips and b2b ducking clips where so consistant, loved it. stepping was super clean on both sides, most notably my flipside and butterflies are getting clearner too on flipside although tomorrow night i think im going to have to drill them.

i also ran 4 miles today with my mom in the woods, im pretty wasted.

Hey Ben. I hadn't realised I had been that much of a motivation to anybody really. 8 ) That brightened my day a lot actually. I wouldn't honestly say I'm better. We just excel in different areas. I did notice that you had hit Double Around The World a little while ago and meant to comment on it but got tied up with my mother yelling heh. But props man. And Happy Late Birthday! :P Can you hit Dyno on both sides? If yes, how about Far Dyno both sides? If yes, hit Stepping Same Side Dyno back to back. :D :D Also, try some Ducking Reverse Whirls for me. We'll have to get back to motivating each other, I'm lacking in that area right now. 8 P

thanks henry :D i'm actually giving one away that i just stitched, i hate selling footbags, i dont want to steal peoples money so i just give them away  so its just a simple number guessing game, pick a number 1-1000 , whoever is closest...wins! it will just be a fun and simple 1 day thing to promote the use of 12p footbags instead of 32's. I will change the footbag world...you'll see.

I'm glad i got to make your day so much better allan. i have never tried flip dyno, in fact i havnt tried my strong dyno in a while, good point! im trying to learn flip rev whirl so i can do b2b paradox ducking whirls 8) I wouldnt worry about ducking whil type of things though because its not a very crucial move, i only say that because im really working on getting solid strings, not hitting big moves (althought they are fun to hit!) just dont waste your time drilling them

peace.

Awesome man! I played with Pat at YEAH on New Years. He's a good player and a cool guy. But yeah, try out some DYno action man. They're really fun when you can hit Near and Far from both Toes and Clippers. :P

ripwalk>blur doesn't rpt

unless your talking about toe ripwalk, which would be tripwalk>blur> rpt, and this only repeats on the same side
