I really like when you hit moves that are supposed to be landed on clipper on inside (hope that made sense). Those moves look so stylie. Keep up the good work man.

Hey hey,

Haven't blogged in a while. Gotta revive this cuz my life is starting to get interesting...

As of September 3rd Im moving in to residence at the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario. For the first time I'll have a regular shred partner -- Mr. Jon Haber!!! He's username is 'Jon' on this forum.

I'm really stoked about this year, as it's getting very boring in ol' Dundas. Can't wait to be around older, smarter people with great aspirations. Much beyond anything you see at a high school cafeteria.
Guelph is a very scenic, booming city too.

I'm gonna have 3 roommates. No clue what they're like. As I hear, quad rooms are generally party rooms -- and those who know me know how much of a partyer I am! haha  I'll likely spend most of my free time at the athletic centre.

Leads me to the next point -- I wanna get fucking goood this year! Maintaining skills has served me well this past year it seems, but I really feel there is still so much unexplored realms in freestyle, and WAY phatter combos to bust. I'm thinking cross-training and gaining some muscle mass is the way to go.

Lately I've been juggling like a madman!! Not totally sure why. I know I'd like to be competitive with it reeeal soon, but still. Today I threw down an
8 BALL FLASH for the first time. Craazy stokage. 4-ball is going very well -- a lotta new tricks in just this week alone. I'm learning the tricks from watching these looping stickman videos -- called 'Jugglewiki'.

Footbag has been ok recently. I managed blazing dlo & blazing egg last night. Kinda cool. Oh, and this one really intense repeat drill:

blur > smear > toe blur > fear > toe blizzard > tripwalk > blurry whirl [rpt]

I have pretty much no footbags now. Working with 2 sandbags, both near the end of their lives. :(
I'm not one of those guys that collects them, or even makes them for that matter. I buy footbags to shred with and that's it.

I really feel my shred training needs to be more structured. It's hard to noticeably progress when it's random combo after random combo. Time for some Lon Smith-esque drills.

Guess that's about it. Much more stuff than usual going on. Give a shout out if you want.

Expect a new video soon.

Good to hear from you again. you'll like college, sometimes it can suck, but so many new things and people, it's an experience for sure. hopefully you get some good room mates, that's one thing that can really make or break having fun in college. props on the 8 ball flash that's pretty intense. hope to see you at sjff, you should confirm asap if you decide for sure to go(i don't think we're doing any of that semi-secret guest bs =)

Hey! Everything sounds so exciting, it's good to hear things are going well for you. The circus skills club should be fun; It sounds like you've been pretty social. Next time we see each other you should show off your contact juggling skills. That's such a neat skill.

I scratched my glasses when they flew off trying a spinning clipper after Jorden passed me the bag. I am still saddened.

I hate getting scratches on my glasses! It's worse than recieveing a spinning symposium uppercut to the balls.

EDIT- That was a stupid thing for me to say. I don't know where it came from.

Yeah, Math BA! I'll have mine in december if everything goes as planned. :P

Haven't seen you at the latest events around here. Hopefully KICKASS will change that :)

And that drill really is intense! What about one that uses 6 or 7 of your strongest sets (pixie, stepping, fairy, quantum, etc) and repeats? Like a 14 contact shuffle drill, all with unique uptimes. 8O

Dude, if you're getting so into juggling, you really need to come to the Cornell Juggling Festival. Huge juggling festival, as well as footbag events. If you can make a juggling video and send it to me, I may even be able to get you some funding to come. Think about it hard.
