Inspired by Ellis Plitz on Zocha Jam competition, I hit today clean Toe Barrage and then clean Pixie Barrage! In Wroclaw I hit it many times but it was "the". Here is a vid with my new move:
It's a very contentious 5 add. Personally I'd only call it a 4 add as well.
Basically some people say that because toe barrage is two full dexes - which it is - it should get an x dex. This means that all far barraging moves get x dex - so blurrage, pixie barrage, atomic barrage (s and m smasher) becomes a 6 add (it would get two x dexes). While I agree that hitting these moves cleanly definitly makes them as difficult as moves of those values - I just don't feel like they feel x dexy. I know that's a piss weak reason and I'll try to think of something that makes more sense. I remember on the fusion debate someone said that really moves that get x dex should have an uptime full dex and a downtime full dex. I tend to agree more with this - although I think a move like blurry blur (non symp) is definitly deserved of an x dex. - I think basically each action should be counted - not each dex. So pixie barrage is two actions - the first is not full so it can't get x dex. Atomic barrage is two full dex actions so it can. I think this is a much better arguement than my one earlier in this post! I'd like to know what they do in shred 30 at worlds with moves like fusion, blurrage etc.
Edit: - But regardless of adds - it's an awesome move - props Cod!!
Someone should make an official definition of xdexes. I think it's very hard to hit Toe Barrage clean. It's harder then a lot of 4s. And clean Pixie Barrage is harder then a lot of 5s. This move has two fulldexes so I count one add more. But...
HAHAHA
I didn't see the guy in the foreground until you guys mentioned it. I thought that can thing on the table was, like, a mosquito coil...thing...or incense or something: funny.
