Happy New Year Asmus!

Yours looked much better than mine. Everyone bailed on our planned camping trip and we went to some lame party and then went into town which was even lamer. I don't care too much for new years anyway...

That is sweet about the art show man!! Mega.

I too want to shred more this year... last year was super lame footbag wise.

COMIX Art Show at Brandts Klædefabrik

Art inspired by comics or by comic artist..

Image
Tal-R - Ike & Ancher (2001) Acrylics on huuuge canvas.
Some of details and depth of the painting got lost. Sorry.
Tal-R is pretty much the hottest danish artist right now.

Image
Søren Behncke - Untitled (2007) Acrylics and collage on paper.
I dig this!

Image
Ida Kvetny - Balcony (2007) Acrylics and spraypaint on huuuge canvas.
Trippy..

I love this guy!

More detailed shot of the character..

I guess that was the best stuff..
I fucked a couple of photos up. I need to find a better setting.

School starts again tomorrow.. :x

I look forward to watch Barcelona - Sevilla tonight..
I'm a pretty big "Los Culés"-fan.
I hope to see a goal like this one..
I've been thinking about starting a soccer-thread.
But I pretty much only follow Barca so it would be rather onesided.
I think it will be a hard match.
I will get pissed if we loose but not like against Real nothing ruins my mood like loosing to them.

I might shred before..

Good link for you hiphop-heads..
(And the girls are hot)

Oh, I just found out Beyonce and Jay-Z are getting married.
I gotta find a new girl to dream about.. Jessica Alba maybe?

I have edited this posts like 100 times.. Haha

Anybody heard the new Lupe Fiasco album? Is it worth "buying"?

Hey Lena and all you other peeps.

The match ended 1-1 okay result. I bet Barcelona will win on Camp Nou.
They have been insanely lots better home compared to away.
Here is Barcelona's amazing goal.
The amazing pass is done by Marquez and Henry's first touch and ice cold finishing is definitely worth the watch.

I keep on procrastinating from this stupid danish paper.
I bet I won't get started today. It should be easy I am just so tired.

This blog get alot more pageviews than I thought..
Feel free to post something if you feel like it!

I think it sux how you gotta get sponsors to pay your presidential campaign to win the election in US. That to me is corruption.
You are going to own alot of rich people alot of favors even before you win.

I like to think of political campaigning in the US as more of a silly little game for rich people to play and not having all that much to do with the voters. If it's corruption, it doesn't do THAT much harm. It's just stupid. And it's been done for so long that people aren't that eager to change it.

and this is why I'm not at all interested in politics. I don't understand it at all.

I think it's a pity that most Americans I talk to are not interested in politics because they don't feel they can make a difference anyway. That's not how politics are supposed to be in my book. And even though the Danish government sucks too, at least we feel that we try to win them over. And pretty much anyone in Denmark can become a politician despite their lack of money - it's more a matter of skill.

The real pity is also based on the fact that the outcome of the American elections doesn't only affect Americans, but actually the whole world. Somehow it would actually be justified that the whole world could participate in the American elections - now wouldn't that be great!! (just kidding!!)

yeah, lets make this blog political.... :)

only thing i think is funny with this election going on right now is, it deonst mean shit. there is nothing decided after that. the real elections are one year away (or something). as far as i understand this right now the only thing thats decided afterwards is who is going to run for the white house in a year for wich party. and all the tv stations and newspapers act like mr. bush will have to pack his bags tomorrow... thats kinda funny. they blow millions of dollar for mearly nothing. (i dont want to say the german election system is good)

anne made a good point, lets suggest this to the us senat. :D

Politics
they blow millions of dollar for mearly nothing. (i dont want to say the german election system is good)
I dont think it is merely nothing. They choose who from what party are going to be able to choose how tomorrow will look. And alot of people and companies have alot to loose (and win.)
That's why they put so many money into this obviously.

And your posts scares me Pat. I'm not mad or dissapointed or anything.
Just scared.

The Declaration Of Independence was made to take the power away from the brits and back to the people.
Instead big companies took over.

(I don't think Denmark is much better..)

FOOTBAG:

Yes, I can do DOD Swirl. I've hit it about 10 times.
I am absolutely sure atleast half of them was clean.

Here is a video from today(about 10 minutes filming):
http://footbag.org/gallery/show/13553
I don't think the big tricks are clean.
The runs are pretty average aswell..
Comments and tips are appreciated.

Stuff from today not in video:
Pixies being shit today!
Run with Diving Clipper BS and Spinning Clipper BS
Reverse Whirl bsos alot

I hope to go to Copenhagen this weekend and play with them.
(Might film some aswell..)

SPEAK UP!

I might post more later. Don't know what :P

aww don't be too scared. My opinion doesn't really matter too much about that stuff anyway. I don't really know what I'm talking about. :? something I should really start to find more about so I CAN talk about it. But whatever: THE VIDEO

you really should make more videos. You've got a good sense of humor about things, like the DOD swirl > bow. I laughed. And I'm not sure what that second big trick is (I've seen it a few times before) but major ups for that!

do you use those shoes you have posted a few up for shred?

Hey Asmus,

Looking good as always - and as always, you've developed your skills a lot since last time I played with you!!! Pretty cool stuff and cool style - calm and controlled. Like it! Really hope you're coming to Copenhagen this weekend, could be cool.

A little positive critique: in the vid, you do a couple of pixie sets without anything else. These pixie sets could be a bit higher, as they barely reach your knees. It's actually a pity, cause in both your dimwalks, the sets are high and nice. Try working on getting those same nice high sets when you don't put anything else on them! Nice to see the dimwalk bsos by the way!

Other than that the only thing left to say is: come over for the weekend, both Lise and I are ready to play Friday night!!! :D

Pat: No I don't use them for shred. Even though I bet it would be possible.
Grek, Isilwar and Zeb: Thanks for the nice comments!
Anne: I really should just stop doing pixie toe, but first i should stop doing clip > toe

Thanks for the comments everybody!
And thanks for whatching to those who didn't comment.

Good session just now!
Lise gave me a bunch of good challenges and I played rather well.
I was pretty tired though.

Highlights:

pixie legover * 4 > run > ducking clipper b2b > run > drop on mirage > ss mirage [rpt] (no toe bails)
ss clipper > infinity > ss butterfly [rpt] > far clip * something
diving clipper > ducking clipper [rpt] 6 contacts
mirage * 3 > ss mirage [rpt]
mirage > ss mirage * 3 [rpt]
ss legover > mirage > ss butter > ducking clipper rpt start from both sides
Pixie SS Clip > Spinning Clip > Same Mirage [rpt]
Swirl > Infinity [rpt] off foot twice

FOOTBAG!
