alot of footbag since last post. playing with tristan this afternoon aswell.

working on lots of basic stuff, spinning and shuffle when i solo.

a couple of things:

major breakthrough on right clipper especially on spinning and stepping ducking on that side. it sounds stupid but my spinning has come so far this year. whirlwind was like easy the other day

the boston scene has really been on fire lately. tristan's been in town the past few weeks so it's been cool to play with him so much lately, kids getting really good. petes also been killin it too so when we get together its a pretty good level of play, lots of props being given and good vibes all around.

The 2012 Boston Jam is my main focus right now. Either modified is in decline (or has declined so much its perpetually declined) but the lack of interest in the boston jam threat and nyfa threads is whack. i remember nathan saying that the east coast sucks and seeing the lack of response in those threads i cant agree more. last year i dropped so much loot on food/beer/greens for people only to have like 1/4 of the people that said they would show come to the jam and this year it looks like attendance is skimpier. I traveled 9+ hours solo with not much money in the busiest time of the year for myself to go hang out with friends and play hack. i know i didnt have to do that and people have lives and stuff, but i remember going to the boston jam being a n00b and just being blown away by the amount of people there and how dedicated, positive and friendly people were and having a great time. just dosent seem like people care/have the time or arent interested in traveling for footbag unless its the fucking USO and you can win stuff that matters and theres BAP and blah blah blah.I hope no one takes this personally and i hope to see ya at the boston jam. worst comes to worst, me pete doug and T money and whoever shows from NYFA will play mini golf, break bottles and maybe play some hack for the fun of it at the boston jam.

sorry for such a rant, heres some highlights lately:

-fog>whirling swirl (stolen from zach j)
-blurry grifter first try
-entourage first try. first time in shoes

-egg>dlo>plo rpt>long string. easy, but felt really good
-blazing ss dyno (first time in years)
-blazing ss drifter (new!)
-ripped b2b from pete then me
-phasing ss mirage
-swirling vortex getting easier.
