Yeah I'm thinking I'll just stick with my Lavers for now, and maybe buy a shoe later on that has a more contrastive style or design.

I still want to know what they're like from those who get them though!

Hey Mike, sorry I haven't played much with you guys, I've been really busy, esp. this past weekend! Geez... I did a footbag demo for a bunch of kids at this farm... It was fun, they loved it! Paul's family brought us all there to a family cow roast, it was wicked. We actually had a shred session, which was awesome because Paul, Andrew, and Elliot haven't played in a circle together in AAAAAGES. I hadn't played with Paul in a while either, so it was great to see him bust some stuff, even without his Lavers. But yeah, just thought I'd let you all know that FAT isn't dead, even the gimp and injured still have mad passion in their feet.

I love children so much. These ones at the farm were particularly sweet because they really loved footbag, and when I lent them some of my bags they actually made a point to return every one of them... So much better than having to run after random kids to get your bags back....

Anyway, I work every weekday, so I can't play in the mornings anymore. Maybe in the evenings, but 9 pm + sessions aren't happening either. If anyone wants to shred around 6 pm this week, let me know. Other than that, unless something changes, I can't play with you guys on the weekends because I am away every weekend until Summer's End Shred 4. Sorry, but the summer is going quickly and I have places to go and people to see.

I have figured out most of SES4. It will be on Saturday, September 2nd at the Toronto Island, and everyone is welcome. I'm also working on having a backyard kegger that night! I think I'll pitch some tents in my backyard as well, so people can crash after the party if they wish. Let me know if you're down, and try to get your friends to come, it's going to be great.

Dont' worry about it, Camille. It's true that I'm getting frustrated at the Toronto 'scene', but not at anyone in particular. If it weren't for Taishi, I'd be a very lonely hacky-baller. I know it's not lack of desire that keeps everyone from hooking up for sessions. It's crazy work schedules and proximity issues too.

If 6 pm works for you, I can arrange to switch my work hours on, say, Thursday? I'm also off this Friday and would love to play with anyone, anywhere, anytime! It's true! I'm a slut for footbag!

As for SES4, I'll be there for SURE!

I also am still around. The FAT scene will have a good chapter at York once school gets back in, I'm hoping to recruit some more members from the Frosh, hehe. But yeah, I wish I didn't live out of town so often in the summer, else I'd see everyone more often!

I did play with Tom and Skippy in Oakville yesterday, which was really sweet.
