my new bag, I finished it yesterday.
his basic properties:
weight: 53,5g -> (53g-mini lead balls + 0.5g plastics balls)
size: 4.2cm
colors: HEX->green grabe/willow,PEN->xxxnavy
its allredy reserve for czech footbag players

That is an awesome colour combo Travis, my friend stitched a normal pattern with the yellow/orange.

It's a kick ass bag, and she isn't nearly as good a stitcher as you. Simple logic dictates that...that is a sweeeet bag man.

the trick to it, with 2 color style (color A and color B) is to take

a pent of color A

and surround it with 4 hexes of color B, and 1 hex of color A

then attach a pent of color A to the only hex of color A, and from there on in, make sure to not break the pattern of a single line of one color wrapped around a single line of the other.

this pattern stitches itself. you will see as you go.

I'm going to have to try that....But, just for the sake of ease when cutting out the panels, how many hexes and pents of each colour ( in a two colour scheme ) go into it? I've never been able to figure out, I've never seen a bag like that up close - it's bad to be a kinesthetic mind at times

Not to be mean or anything, but you really shouldn't worry about how to do that pattern. You should work on getting your stitching better. More consistent stitching, placement, gather......etc.

Matt, numba 76 is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Robert, you can work on improving the technicality of your stitching while using any pattern you want, so I encourage you to try new ones.

For 2 colors, you need even amounts of everything: 6 pents of both colors, 10 hexes of both colors.

to make that one with the alternating color for one of the spirals, you need:

6 pents of white, 10 hexes of white, 5 pents of green, 3 hexes of green, 1 pent of orange, and 7 hexes of orange.

I thought of another variation on this last night. Kind of a brocka style thing to do. Hopefully I can post it soon.

No-no-no, you've got me wrong, I in no way want to try that pattern, too much for right now.

I just want to know how they work, I've never seen one aside from pictures, cild muriosity is all.
