me too

Today was awesome :D
Earlier on there was free food, drinks and bands and some epic circle kicking. Also organised the annual general meeting for the club, which is going to be on the 17th. Met heaps of people today, played in 3 hack circles.

Later played in a random circle out front of the State library, was surprised to bump into Dan there. Talked to him a bit about some moves, he said "footing moves doesn't count for much" , so I'm like orly? Dan-"alright bring it on!" and gave whirr a go, it was "the" but I got the clipper so that is some progress.

did some stuff after everyone left, inculding 9 contacts of op clipper>far legover>rpt and 6 rotations of 2 bag juggling

Bumped into someone I knew in the street and was asked to do an impromptu footbag demonstration, did a few legovers, mirages, an eggbeater then moved onto some 2 bag juggling, 20sec dropless routine woot.

Did some whirls when I was at home, it almost killed me cause of stupid fucked up flipside, but hit clipper set whirl bsos, woot :D
attempted dragonfly> ducking op dragonfly but kept missing the handcatch

EDIT: 2 weeks of playing each and everyday for a few hours has really taken it out of me, thinking of taking a break tommorow.

Hope you get that job Jamie.

Awesome session with Alex today, he is playing really well atm. Some highlights from his shred: blurriest>stepping ss double down>run, pixie spinning mirage, spinning symp mirage, ripped warrior bs, some phat foodprocessors and almost alpine food, lots of torques/pdx torques and shitload of 5's midrun.
I had an awesome shred too, new stuff included:
clipper set whirling inside bsos
cloud set eggbeater
inside kick set eggbeater
datw kick (harder than it seems)
heel set symp mirage
whirling front body rake
dimwalk bsos>strong parkwalk then drop on flip parkwalk :?
dragonflyer, pixie dragonflyer, symp dragonflyer, pdx dragonflyer all in the one run
DATW all 4 directions in the same run (first time in shoes)
Also footed barfly heaps and was really close to TATW a few times, not long now and I'll have that trick. Also whirl is feeling good, whirr is going to be mine soon. Atomsmasher is feeling good, so is quantum :D

edit: forgot I hit toe set> bag goes over head> blind clipper

omg tatw is pissing me off, its just permanently just out of reach, after 100's of attempts it is getting really frustrating. Anyway hit pinch set ducking legover for the first time today.

Ended up shredding for about 4hours today, which isn't a bag effort considering it was a 36degree day(96F for all you imperial measurement ppl). Spent a few hours filming myself to try and figure out what was happening technique-wise. Ended up getting some good stuff on tape. Was way too tired to get tatw attempts on tape after trying them for an hour earlier on, mabye tommorow. Feel a bit deydrated now thuogh.

Played a bit today, meet some new people who were circle kicking.

Had a headache, probably from dehydration yesterday, tried to get some stuff on camera. Got a few good bits and pieces but cramped up badly so I had to stop. Going to try tatw tommorow for the camera hoping that I can get some tips if I post it up.

Had a fantastic session with Alex and Scott at chadstone. Scott was playing the best I'd ever seen hitting blurry whirl, symp whirl, ripped warrior and far symple swirl. Alex was busting out huge fearless links and did a 30+ contact (mostly tripless) shuffle run he also did a barefoot ripstein 8O . I had some mega improvement on the clipper front, I can step now 8O :o :D So in the space of one session I went from no stepping set to hitting 6 stepping tricks, woot. Hit probe second attempt, tried symp rev whirr a few times, rev swirl was feeling good and footed ripstein.

new stuff:
ripwalk (yeah I one "lol" attempt once before, but this was the other side)
sidewalk
stepping op mirage
stepping op illusion
stepping op pincher
datw in>paradon
datw in>smear>smudge>eggbeater
dimwalk>whirling inside>rev whirl
pixie rev whirl

wow other people posting in the melbourne blog 8O
thx for the props guys

probe: toe set> bag goes over head from front to back> blind clipper

Finally met Alex today, it's awesome to have someone who is into the net. Spent most of the afternoon practicing net with him with his uber leet net bags. Looking forward to regular games of net :D Had a bit of shred with the other Alex, nothing particularly hardcore from either of us. I managed to hit datw all directions bsos again, new stuff:
pinch set datw (going to do this more, reckon it will help with tatw)
datw out-in>paradon

currently editing the mfc winter shreds video, need to cut back heaps of footage, cause it's like 40mins long atm

The footbag club AGM got quorum, woot.

Also had a shred this evening, got some stuff on film, including blurry pincher first attempt. Also some more pincher stuff and toe moves, at the beginning of the session I was trying pixie ss clipper> infinity > pdx dragonflyer> butterfly but after some attempts my left leg was cramping up really bad. So from that point onwards I was having lots of trouble doing clipper (more trouble than the normal trouble I have with clippers). Instead of ending there, did some more toe stuff, worked flip pixie quite a bit.
