That would be awesome.

I'm not sure when I'll go live again. I'm planning for Friday or Saturday.

1 hour shred session last night. Played ok. Worked mostly toes.

Highlight(s):
terrage > datw > rpt
maelstrom > marius bs (flip took a while, but strong took only a few tries)

Working on:
Toe-toe stuff

Will most likely do the live thing Sat. afternoon.

Oh, and hit the 10 unique toe shuffle a bunch of times in the last 2 sessions. It's still too hard though.

2 hour shred session. Did well.

Highlight(s):
drifter > vortex > rpt
fear > atom > toe blur > pixie leg > rpt > run (hit it 3 times)
fury and jani bsos + blurriest, pdx torque, and tomahawk in the same run

Still working on toe stuff and pdx drifters.

I can't wait to "tune in" to your live session, you are such an skilled footbag player.

I am also here to say that your footbag computer program was made very well. There are many little features which are nice to have, like the "individual component" drilling, option.

Do you do blenders?

So, I'm planning on broadcasting Saturday afternoon. I'd say around 2pm Pacific time. I've been slightly sick, not enough to stop playing (obviously ^^^), but if it gets worse I won't play.

At least 3 hour live session. Played pretty well. Stuff felt good, but my stamina felt bad. It seems that's becoming more of an issue. I think my run length is better than my body can perform. It's a weird statement, but hopefully people get me.

Highlight(s):
50 contact tiltless run (by request)
jani b2b
rubberman with illusions

Need to work on: Longer runs/Breathing

I know whatch'a mean.

I'm slightly sore, but it's not my legs at all, which is weird. It's my back/hips/neck. Crazy. I think I could play again tomorrow.

Haven't played since Saturday! AHHHHH!!

Stupid programming classes giving ridiculous projects with little to no instruction on how to do them. I hate it.

A couple of months ago I would think a comment like that was a sign of insanity. Now I feel the exact same way, having played 11 times in the last twelve days. I love it!

What are you programming in?

C.....

I can dominate C++, but C is a pain in the butt. It's an operating systems class and we're working with Linux, which I also hate. Oh well, maybe a short rest before the SoCal Jam is a good thing.

I'll definitely be playing Thurs. though.

Finally played again last night...

1.5 hour shred session. No highlights. Didn't do great. Stuff felt sloppy. Will be playing again today so all the work I've been putting into footbag doesn't slip just before SoCal.

SoCal Jam was awesome! Had great fun.

Saw a bunch of the Cali shredders.
Got to know more of the newer shredders which was great!
Realized why everyone likes walks on the beach.
Evan busted all weekend long. 8O He's amazing.
Had fun talks at Soupplantation (aka Sweet Tomatoes).
Staring contests.
Feet comparisons.
Supple calves.
Montage circle.
Stretching circle.
People asking for tips and being able to help (hopefully).
Super Nemesis talks.
Watching old VHS Footbag shred and learning more about footbag history/progression.
Lots o' laughs.
Getting lost.
Time with friends.

Footbag is great! :D

Thanks to everyone who made this jam possible. Thanks to Emily for her effort and organizational skills. To my roommates, sorry for snoring.

1.5 hour training session last night.

Trained flip pixie. Mostly legover tricks > flip pixie. I can't believe I'm still having trouble with this.

Hit lots o' good stuff at SoCal jam. Overall, I played well. With times of great stuff and suck mixed in.

Ben: But thats only five dexes
Evan: Yeah?
Ben: You're missing the most important dex *6th dex*

After watching the SoCali vid, I'm happy and frustrated with my game. I'm happy with some of the tricks and runs I hit, but my form sucks on most stuff.

I seem to hunch over or to the side a lot.
My mirages are raky, even easy stuff like pdx mirages.
I'm late on a bunch of tricks, especially torques.
My stepping is weird. Not the same as other people.
My whirls look weird.
My illusions are the a lot.
My sets are usually off.

I'm not sure how to fix these exactly, but hopefully Evan will be able to help me.
