No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I'm bringing some stuff to sell at NYJ, mostly footbag related stuff I don't use.

The t-shirts in the top row are too small for me, and the bottom ones I just never wear. Oh, and the top right one says SHREDATOR in reflective lettering. $10 apiece OBO.

These gUnits are size 11 US. I bought them modded for $40, and they don't really fit like I thought they did when I bought them. Light use. I'm hoping to get $30 or a good bag for them.

Last but not least, this is the video camera I bought when I wanted to make videos. It turns out I don't have time. The camera is a Panasonic PV-GS59, and it comes with, from left to right in the picture:
two manuals
16 used DV tapes (Some east coast stuff and worlds 2006) +1 new one. Use them or tape over them as you wish.
2 Canon COMPACTFLASH FC-16M memory cards. I think they go with something I don't use anymore, actually. Let me know if you can use them.
Battery Charger with battery.
Camcorder itself with extra, bigger battery.
Camera to TV cable
Camera to computer USB cable
Power cable
And above all, a handy carrying case.

The whole kit sells for $150. I'm pretty sure all together these cost more than $300 new.

You're free to inspect and test any of the goods before buying. PM me for any details you'd like. Thank you for supporting my footbag habit.

This probably belongs in the for sale thread; I'll be posting there too.

I have some non footbag friends I'll be visiting, but the crash space details are still uncertain. During the event, I'm totally up for getting an onsite hotel room, and if someone wants to room with me and cut down costs, I'm all about that. In fact, if there's a room in progress that's inclined to include me to cut costs even further, I'm even more about that. So PM me if you want to room with me or if you'll let me in your room.
I'm totally hooked up with the E.C.s and company during the jam. I would like to be added to the arrival list, though.
Mathochist wrote:After the shindig, if there are any locals who'd be keen to put me up, I would be most thankful, offering to buy some beer, to cook a meal, to clean your toes, my first born, etc. I may wind up not needing the offer, but I'd be remiss not to explore all possibilities.
This part is still true. Count the above iTems as possible offerings as well. I'll see whom I can schmooze in person if I have to, but if anyone wants to offer me some space sooner than later, much thanks.

So, in keeping with the trend in going to footbag jams, I've missed my bus going down to chicago (not my fault, the company sucks donkey dick and gave me bad instructions for being picked up). So now I will be coming down on a Greyhound bus around 10am or so, should get there by 8pm I think.

Hopefully this one works and I actually make it.

Oh, heres my number 612 396 5702

I think I'm still rolling into union station, but I'm not sure, I'll find out and put it up here.

If all goes as planned, I should be getting into Chicago around 15:00->16:00 tomorrow. I hope that parking around the hotel is as easy as people say it is.

RAIN AND WARM weather, is in the forcast for Saturday.

To park at hotel either pay for the parking garage, or look on the streets to the north of the hotel. Its easy to get you bearings because the lake is to your east. Make sure to read the parking signs because alot of areas are for resident parking only.

Sigh. I ought to have followed the rules. My flight, United Airlines flight 7557 from New Orleans (MSY) to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) is now scheduled to arrive at 7:31, instead of 5:30. Boo.

Yup. Include me in the list of flight cancellations. I'm in Louisville, KY. Here's hoping I can be there tomorrow.

you all were wise to have scheduled your flights for the 26th. I think youll all make it in fine. The problem now is all the snow is melting making fog, the sun will burn it off.

Hey, I'm getting in tomorrow morning at 7:45, if anyone else is getting in anywhere close to that time, I'd be happy to have somebody accompany me on the train.

My cell number is 614-260-6932.

I'm taking the metra to Ogilvie tomorrow, and I'm arriving at around 9:40. If anybody's driving by at that time and wants to pick me up they can, but I realize 1. there are people coming from farther out than me that need rides more than I do, and cars may get a little full, and 2. 9:40 is a little bit late to be picked up, considering it starts at like 10:00 and sometimes the trains can be late. If anyone wants to pick me up they can, but I have no problem taking a cab.
