Is peng one to dominate, or is tom one to submit.

That is the question.

Post 250 8)

After 3 coffee/ritalin filled days of writing, I am physically and mentally drained. I got caught up and got remarked on a bunch of stuff for school because I had been so sick. My TA is really sweet.

Lately, there's been quite a bit more interest in Kingston for footbag. Apparently, hacking is a fad at one of the highschools in the area. Tom wants to do a lunch hour performance to attract some more members to the KFM. There definitely seems to be a lot of interest generated by 3 boys Mike, Myke, and Corey. It's super-cute how super-stoked they are about footbag and hopefully we'll see them at a KFM meeting on Sunday. I've already met Myke and he is so enthusiastic about footbag and wants Lavers and got 2 Mr.'s from Tom already. I'm on the prowl for sz 9 Lavers for him on ebay.

I'm really looking forward to playing footbag tonite at the Thursday KFM meeting. Being out of commission with that flu sucked so bad. The one thing that made my sick-days happier was how every few days a footbag would show up in my mailbox. I love new footbags. I have to post a picture of the two new Marco bags I received from him. One of them is SO tiny! And on top of everything else, my pink footbag collection has grown substantially. Sweet! :D

I just went back and read a few of my blog entries. It seems that the only time I feel compelled to write in here is when I'm avoiding work. Haha, so it seems it's essay season again and you'll be seeing more of this blog.

Like right now, when I'm supposed to be writing about capitalism and consumerism. My reference piece is Fight Club. Now isn't it ironic that a film like Fight Club that is so copiously consumed in our pop-culture market is about anti-consumerism and sticking it to the man?

Tom and I have been stitching so many footbags lately. My camera came today after getting fixed, so I should really take some pictures. Tom's been dialing this current version of the Mosher a lot. He's got it down and consistent. It's so soft right off the bat. Our respective stitching styles have diverged quite a bit and our bags look very different from each others' now. It's cool. Both bags are great bags, but at the same time, very different.

Tom's real excited about tomorrow. He's getting a pro to modify a brand new pair of climacools for him. It's a shame though, these were the Black Climacool Germany version. They look SO sick as it is. Oh well, I'm sure it'll look and more importantly, PLAY better with the pro-shoe mod. I'm excited to see the outcome. Tomorrow's going to be an exciting day for the KFM with the new shoes and the new kids interested in footbag showing up for the first time for the meeting. I can't wait to shred!

There's been lots of work on www.kingstonfootbag.com So many things need to get put up. An immense load of updates will be coming to the KFM in the next week or so. In fact, just yesterday we put up a whole bunch of new products to sell. Patching tape, glover's needles, stickers... we really want to make kingstonfootbag a great resource for everyone in the footbag community.

Look, these are the stickers:

Tom and I have been dreaming about getting sponsors for the KFM. Hopefully with the website looking legitimate, we can really attract some sponsors to help out with the club's expenses. The school really isn't much help in the funding department.

Everyone should stay tuned to hoodshouse too! I'm helping get it revamped as well.

Footbag!!!! <3

Happy St. Patrick's Day!! *hic*

Let me tell you a little story.

Image

Image
Prince charming took it upon himself to drink and be merry this St. Patty's day since, afterall, it ain't easy being green.

Image
But after drinking since noon, Prince Charming started getting queezy. So queezy in fact, that he felt the contents of his stomach gurgling upwards. He tried to resist...

Image
But alas, he failed and Pengpeng got very mad at him for making such a mess in her pink bed. Prince Charming was forced to clean up his own mess and ingest all the footbags once more.

Drink responsibly boys and girls!

I LOVE RECEIVING MAIL!!! <3

Image

These are the footbags that came in the mail this week. From the left: Josiah Digges (#8), Matt Cross (MC11), Joshy Rayeshire (Hackysnack), and Matt Cross (MC10).

Then there's the pair of baby pink lavers I won off ebay. We've opened the toebox already. Probably going to brocka it next. :D

All this is taken with my camera that came back in the mail repaired last week. A mini-pelican also came in the mail today in order to protect previously stated camera from a second beating caused by my retarded clumsiness.

The only thing I don't love that comes in the mail is anything bank, government, school, or utilities related.

Life's been such a trip. Things are all sunshine and lolipops. Been shredding almost everyday under the sun. Handed out a tonne of business cards to recruit people to our club.

Going on a detox diet for the next 2 weeks. Hopefully it'll improve my energy level. Weee! No wheat! Today I let myself sleep in and I didn't get out of bed until a quarter past one. Oops!

My muscles are sore from shredding, but it's all good. I <3 footbag.
