Hey Elliott. I'm sorry I haven't called still. I've been busy finally planning for Kayleigh's baptism and party up in Pennsylvania. I still have a bunch of other things I need to do ontop of that. Everything keeps piling up on me more than I can get rid of them. Blah. I hope you and Emily have been doing alright. I miss the rare times that we've played together. Hopefully I'll make it down to TN someday soon.

So I still haven't played any footbag for over a month ago! Sheesh! I miss it so much. Anybody have any suggestions to how I can find a way to play it?

Instead of footbag, I've atleast been walking (for like an hour a day); something I can do at ease with a baby. Haha...I was forced to walk today.

I've had a series of unfortunate events (:P) happen to me lately. Let me explain...so I discovered Moe's Southwestern Grill in Huntington a while ago. I used to eat there when I lived in Georgia. I haven't had it in over a year. I decided to take the half-hour drive to eat there, and then I was going to take Kayleigh for a walk around the park after. I get there, I tell Mom to keep driving around the block until I come out so that we wouldn't have to find/pay for a parking spot. I go to open the door...it's locked! "Sorry, on Oct 1. we are closed for maintenence." ARGH! The one time I finally make it out there, and it's closed. So I go find my mom. She's waiting for me in a spot she found around the corner. I noticed the car was facing the opposite way of all the other cars...she turned down a one-way street! I knew I should have warned her not to. I figured she saw the sign and didn't say anything. So I get in the car and try to find a way out. I finally turned around and got out with a bunch of funny looks. Even the security cops were laughing at us. And it looked like I was the idiot that drove in there, but I didn't. Crazy.

I grabbed Fazoli's (and I did not get any breadsticks that were supposed to come with the order) instead, and we went to the park to eat and walk.

On our way back home, we got a flat tire. I called the cops (I remembered reading a sign that said to call *sp for help along the interstate.), and the lady on the phone claimed that someone would be out to help. Luckily some random guy stopped by to help us, because no one else came by. No state police. No roadside assistance. Nothing. But anyways, the guy was real nice. He said his family had racecars and he knew all about cars, and he had everything in his trunk! Haha. He said he drove around looking for people to help. I offered him the four bucks that was in my wallet, but he wouldn't take it.

This morning my mom took the car to get the tire fixed and everything else checked and changed. She forgot that I worked today! So I walked to work. Half-hour walk. I didn't care. I had my music and water bottle. :D

Nope, that doesn't work for me. Chrissy, I need to be the only Emily in your life. It doesn't matter that you're across the country and I've never met you in person... wait... I guess it does.

Still.

I know how to change a tire and have the right equipment, but I can't do it because I'm not strong enough to loosen the lug nuts even with the long handle 4-way wrench (tire iron). That's great that a racecar driver stopped to help you change the tire. Someone rear-ended me today while I was completely stopped at a stoplight. Both of us pulled over and a third car pulled up and gave me his business card and said he saw everything so he would talk to the police and be a witness if I needed it, then he drove off. I thought that was really nice, not something that most people would take the time to offer/follow through with.

I'm sorry I haven't been around to talk recently, but I'm thinking about you!

Guess what!? I got MY very first 32 today! Well, actually it was yesterday, but no one got the mail. Thank-you Tom! Here it is (It's white, blue, and purple.):

Image

Yay! I played with it in my pajamas and lavers a little. I hope my sister remembered that I asked her to watch Kayleigh for me sometime this weekend so that I could try my new bag out. I asked her last week, so yeah...

Wanna know something funny? Kayleigh had a 32 before me. Chris made her one for all of you who didn't know that. That's sad. I was jealous, but now I don't have to be. :D

I tried out my new bag today. It was nice, but it rolled off my clippers a lot. Can't wait 'til it breaks in. This was the first time in a LOOONG time that I played in the cold/ chillyness. Plus I had pizza a little bit before I played...I didn't get to do much. Haha. I just goofed around, and then I got my torques and strongside datw (out to in) back. Yay! I was too tired to try flipside datw, and the Steelers are about to come on! Yay!-ish...They aren't doing to great this year, but I still gotta watch them. :)

I went to some band championship in Charleston. West Virginia University performed there half-way through the show. They were awesome. Before that, I saw a band that had this one (only one) majorette. She was juggling three batons at one point. And it wasn't just regular juggling; she was also juggling from the outside, in. I don't know juggling terms. I bet there's something for what she did. Point is, she was awesome, and I've never seen it before. There was a guy majorette, I mean uh major-dude, what would you call a guy majorette? Anyways, there was one with the WVU band. It was odd. There were also like three or more male color guards with WVU. The guy majorette was the world champ of male baton twirling. He was awesome too. I wish I could have stayed for the whole show, but my mom had to work at 11, so we left early. I also froze my butt off. I didn't think it was as cold as it was and only wore a pair of corduroy pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a hoody. Normally, I'm fine with that throughout the colder seasons, but not for three or more hours straight. Brr!

I should be playing some footbag tomorrow. My sister is off again, and I asked her to watch Kayleigh for me. Yay!

I don't envy you for living in the cold. Have fun playing tomorrow. :-)

Just wanted to say: cool pictures, and it's nice to see a different (more adult?) perspective on modified. I like it.

Thanks everyone. I shall have more up soon...from her first birthday. We've both been sick, so I haven't made it to the store to drop off the film yet.

Well I was gonna post Kayleigh's first birthday pics, but Photobucket made me mad for now. I spent all of this time browsing and picking 20 pictures, clicking the upload button, and nothing happens. Then I do it all over again , and it goes back to the album without the pictures uploaded. Screw it. I'll try again later.

If you guys are wondering what I have been doing...I still only take care of Kayleigh a lot and work some. I am trying to switch Kayleigh from breastfeeding (haha...I had beastfeeding there at first...) to drinking cow's milk and getting both of us on some kind of schedule, including me working out...footbag or not. We'll see how that goes soon.

EDIT: I went back to Photobucket, and those pictures I "uploaded" were magically in my album. Imagine that!

Things are looking good for me soon.

I signed Kayleigh up for a daycare today.

I go to an orientation for school on the 10th. School starts the 16th.

I got my videocamera a few days ago. Give me a while to figure it out and I'll post videos of footbag and Kayleigh.

I plan to go to school in the mornings, work about 5 hours, then play some footbag or weight lift (some kind of exercise) for a while, then pick kayleigh up everyday.

I also want to start eating better. I don't have to eat for two anymore (no more breastfeeding)!

I hope I can do all this. It might be too much, and I don't know it yet. We'll see.

As of today, I am a college student again! I didn't get all of the classes I wanted or the times, but oh well. One of the classes I got made me mad. It ends at 2:45. Another one was til 5! I didn't pick that one. I wanted to be out by 12 or 1 everyday. Soon I will be on a school/ work schedule, and I can throw in footbag! Yay!

Oh. I have a couple stories.

Oh, I slipped on ice twice today on my way to school. Two different parking lots. I was in a hurry and didn't realize the water I thought I was walking in was actually ice. I made a cool scene the second time. Haha. I was laughing at myself. No falling either time. Just slipping and flailing my arms out everywhere and continuing walking. :P

Anyways.

One night, my sister and I went out playing. We went to the Tri-State Casino or whatever it's called. I had three dollars in my wallet. Down the drain. Then I had this quarter and finally found a quarter-taking machine (most of the machines took credit cards, dollars, tickets, and some also took nickels...real stupid, but that's how they get ya). I played it. Won two bucks out of it. Yay. Didn't have to walk away completely bummed. Haha. We watched Night at the Museum after that. It was funny. I'm not really a fan of what's-his-face, but he was ok this time. Maybe cuz he's not so obnoxiously annoying in this movie.

Another night, we decided to cook this ham that my boss gave everyone for Christmas (we got a turkey for Thanksgiving). The au gratin potatoes bubbled over and onto the burner part of the oven. It caught on fire! Well it was fine at first, but then my mom turned up the heat, and then it caught on fire. Luckily, we were all in the kitchen and noticed. Haha. My mom opened up the door to check on the food, and a flame shot out, and she shut the door without even realizing it. Julie and I were like 8O, and then mom opens it up again and shuts it real quick. "Oh my god! There's a fire in there!" with her arms in the air. It was so funny. I was actually laughing that my house was on fire because of her. We threw baking soda on it. It was fine, although I ran past the front door, up the stairs WITH KAYLEIGH, to grab an already used fire extinguisher (my ex decided to spray me with it for no reason one day...) to see if it would work...yeah. I don't know what I was thinking. Well I do. I was thinking, "Ah. It's just a stupid, little fire. They are gonna throw baking soda on it. If something does happen, there's a fire escape ladder upstairs." But still! Oh well. It's all good. :P

That is all for now. Bye.
