So I still haven't played any footbag for over a month ago! Sheesh! I miss it so much. Anybody have any suggestions to how I can find a way to play it?
Instead of footbag, I've atleast been walking (for like an hour a day); something I can do at ease with a baby. Haha...I was forced to walk today.
I've had a series of unfortunate events (:P) happen to me lately. Let me explain...so I discovered Moe's Southwestern Grill in Huntington a while ago. I used to eat there when I lived in Georgia. I haven't had it in over a year. I decided to take the half-hour drive to eat there, and then I was going to take Kayleigh for a walk around the park after. I get there, I tell Mom to keep driving around the block until I come out so that we wouldn't have to find/pay for a parking spot. I go to open the door...it's locked! "Sorry, on Oct 1. we are closed for maintenence." ARGH! The one time I finally make it out there, and it's closed. So I go find my mom. She's waiting for me in a spot she found around the corner. I noticed the car was facing the opposite way of all the other cars...she turned down a one-way street! I knew I should have warned her not to. I figured she saw the sign and didn't say anything. So I get in the car and try to find a way out. I finally turned around and got out with a bunch of funny looks. Even the security cops were laughing at us. And it looked like I was the idiot that drove in there, but I didn't. Crazy.
I grabbed Fazoli's (and I did not get any breadsticks that were supposed to come with the order) instead, and we went to the park to eat and walk.
On our way back home, we got a flat tire. I called the cops (I remembered reading a sign that said to call *sp for help along the interstate.), and the lady on the phone claimed that someone would be out to help. Luckily some random guy stopped by to help us, because no one else came by. No state police. No roadside assistance. Nothing. But anyways, the guy was real nice. He said his family had racecars and he knew all about cars, and he had everything in his trunk! Haha. He said he drove around looking for people to help. I offered him the four bucks that was in my wallet, but he wouldn't take it.
This morning my mom took the car to get the tire fixed and everything else checked and changed. She forgot that I worked today! So I walked to work. Half-hour walk. I didn't care. I had my music and water bottle.
