dustin has agreed to run the freestyle show. the freestyle events are now complete: shred 30 (intermediate & open), sick1 (open), sick3 (open), 4-square (anyone) & 3 min. consecs.(novice). net divisions will be dependant upon the turnout. we need at least 3 teams to form a division; i'd like to have an open & intermediate division.

i'm not going to rent the pavillion for sunday because it's too expensive but if we get luckly one else will reserve it, or we can find another smaller spot in the park. the only way i was able to convince emily (my wife) to let me rent it in the first place is because i told her that i'll pocket the first $200 in entry fees to cover the money i already invested in the rental and give it to her so she can buy the sewing machine of her dreams. so don't think that emily won't beat down a 15 year old in front of their parents for $10.

Hey, good news. If someone in Murfreesboro will put me up for the 14th, I'll be able to make the Sunday shred.
Even though I'm missing the tourney I'll still throw $10 in. Partially to avoid Emily beating up my parents and also for one of Lee's sick event shirts. 8)

I wouldn't get your hopes up. I doubt I'll make shirts. One, I'm not creative enough, and two, I'm too lazy to try and be creative.

i've got some logos for the shirts and i probably have enough time; it's just a matter of money. we could charge a higher entry fee and include t-shirts to all the competitors but everytime i go to a tournament people always complain about money - - including myself (especially if the money taken doesn't go towards renting the venue, free anything, prize money, or if the amount taken in exceeds the value of the prizes given). shall we bump it up to $15 and throw in some shirts or in the case of someone making shirts...just sell them on the side? if anybody is interested in making them let me know and i'll send you some jpegs.

Tell me what spikehammer is and I'll attempt it. (If it has a drifter in it, you can pretty much forget about it.)

brian and i are making shirts for the south eastern regionals. here is how they look as a beginning. we will have some text on these and maybe something on the back. we havent really played around with the details quite yet. we might be able to do some custom colors. as you can tell the blue shirt is a soccer patterned footbag and the maroon shirt is a blur bag. we have red, yellow, green, black, white, and blue paint... we might go buy more... but i dunno yet. the shirts we are buying also come in various colors. if you want a certain color shirt... let us know now or else whoever buys will have to just trust our design know-how (we are graphic designers).

these will cost $7 so dont complain!!! there will be text too... along the lines of south eastern regionals or something like that.

tell us what you think... and let us know if you want a shirt ahead of time... and what size. we are only going to bring as many as people order and maybe a couple extra. if you want one... post your shirt size.

Those are sweet.
Put "Souf" on them, because that's just cool.

And I hit spikehammer.
And like 13 tripless.
And whirr.
Twice.

well you guys missed out on a great net tournament this past weekend in Memphis. 9 teams from Chicago, Memphis, & Nashville battled it out. Chicago won 1st (even though i managed to dig 3 of Corys spikes). i'm going to post some photos on the results page tomorrow.

we made some stickers for the upcoming SE Regionals and i've been assured that there will be plenty of competition on the net courts this year. we've only got about 5 weeks until the big show. any thoughts?

counting the days...

gotta get started on shirts.

tell me what you guys want, and if you dont, youll miss out, cause its first come first serve, for less than 10 shirts. same goes for footbags.

gotta get going on stitching too.... anybody gonna want a bag from me or holly? just pm me or her.

so is there a large number of people attending ? hope this turns out bigger than alabama did.

[Oh, and there is going to be a $10 IFPA membership fee on top of the $25 to get and the $15 per event you enter in. If you don't have an IFPA membership, then you must pay or hell will freeze over.]

Don't know if I'll be coming or not. Still talking about it. Family has about 4 birthdays during October. If I can come, I'll be there, but no promises.
