Props on doing so well at US Open! Sounds like you've made a ton of progress since SCI.

I feel you on your rants. Calling "the" on people can be very touchy sometimes. Like, even when people theoretically know it's good for them, it can still be psychologically difficult for them to take. I now make a point to only call "the" on people when they specifically ask me about tricks, or when they ask me at the start of a session to call "the." And in those cases I also make a point to emphasize that my eyes don't get it right everytime; calling "the" live is more art than science, much like an umpire calling strikes in baseball. Whenever I play with people who are capable of calling "the" on me ( I definitely think some people have a better ability than others to tell), I beg them to call me on it, because I know it will help me improve. Even in those cases, I sometimes feel annoyed... even though I should know better. I think part of the problem is that when somebody calls "the" on you, you are disappointed in yourself and the game in general (that footbag is so hard), that people misdirect their frustration by "shooting the messenger."

As for ADDs, I also feel you. "ADDs don't matter"... except in competition. I don't mind ADDs mattering in Shred30, because it IS a math formula, but I am always annoyed that ADDs are used in Sick 3 and Routines. I feel ADDs should only come into play in routines if two routines are nearly identical, and you need a mental tiebreaker. Like, if both players had similar amounts of choreography, the same number of drops, the same degree of crowd involvement, etc, and you have to break the tie somehow.

Just wanted to let you know that when you ranted, you weren't alone, yelling in the woods.

I got to reds house pretty late and met up with him at like 12 or so. When I got into his house I met Flash and Aiden. They were cool. We watched some TV and then I saw Aiden and Flash look at the bags she was selling so I went over there and got first pick of all of her bags. I got a pretty sick one. After all of that I crashed out.

The next day I woke up and watched a footbag movie with everyone that was at Reds house until we all decided to get some Thai food. It was good but a bit pricey. After that we went to the first shred place. I rode with Aaron Ortan in his pimp car. He's a fun driver to say the least lol. We met up with Nick and Sam and the rest of the P town krew and started to shred. I played sooooo shitty that day it was lame. So I just watch Sam fucking rip it up like crazy. He is soooooo good.

The next day we went to the actual compition spot and I was trying to warm up and I was playing good. After everything got started I was playing great. After the intermedate comps were done I remember I signed up for Circle comp. I was put into a circle with Evan Lovely Flash and me. I thought I was going to lose for sure but it turns out I beat Evan
and made it to the next round 8O 8O 8O 8O

After I got put out the last circle was fucking amazing.

I've skipped alot of stuff and don't really care lol. I suck at write ups and don't feel like finishing right now. So I'll finish it tomorrow!
Damn right, super fun driver.

Woot! More money for worlds! I think I actually have 200 dollars extra for buying the two things I want at worlds. Quantums and a Felix bag. Another good thing is I have another pay check or two coming and maybe a sponser ship from my work. Awesome!

im bidding on some all black mesh lavers on ebay right now. im winning and there is only 17 hours left. WOO! i hope i win these because my awesome white ones have a weird line hole thing =(

PART 2 US OPEN

i dont know where i left off so ill just start where i feel like.

so i wake up are 10 or 11 at nicks house. i think i slept in his bed. im glad i did because i got a good nights sleep which isnt too rare for me anymore :o

by the time we got on the maxx train thing i get a call from red saying were late. everyone from nicks house was late everyday lol. so we finally get there and i look around and see the simpsons "promotion" it was kinda lame. they had a woman dressed as marge and a hummer playing simpson episodes.

as soon as i get there i start talking to people and then i sat down behind the freedom footbags store and daryl asks me to watch the store while he and steve goldburg play 4 square. it was pretty cool and i got free starbucks and a slice of pizza out of it. SCORE!

the comps were really awesome. some of the shit hit there blew my mind. i really loved nicks nuke PSwhirl. the thing i remember the most is jims routine. i cant discribe how great it was. youll just have to see the video of it. it blew my mind it was soooooo good.

i didnt shred to much that day but when i did sam potter was around to join my circle. hes one of my good friends i met thru footbag. cant wait to see him at SJFF

the next day at the water temple shred me and everyone at nicks house actually made it there early lol. me and zeb i think were the first ones to actually start shredding. then jim flash and all those good players started to show up and joined me where i was. even tho im not as good as them i think i held my own :)

nick pulled me aside and said dude shred up here! we walked up some stairs and got on top of a 10ft ledge. it was fucking scary doing spins up there lol.

after i took a break sam came up to me and said he was leaving. i was sad to hear he was going. i always hate when tounrys end :( :( after the shred ended we went to a mexican food place and ate. after that flash and adain said they were leaving. that made me sad also. so we head back to nicks house and started to drink. i got pretty fucked up lol. so the next day we all start to leave. it was sad to say goodbye to nick.

man that was one sick tounry.

EDIT: the part of the tounry that made me feel really good was when Sam Potter came up to me and gave me a hug for winning the intermedate US title. i just wanted to write that since it did make me feel reallly good about myself

I can't wait to get that Fearless lol. The coolest thing about living 4 hours from them is that when you order stuff from them it takes only 1-2 days to get to me

"Shaved Pussy"

What the fuck? How the fuck is that funny? I guess the person who made the thread was thinking this: "LIKE LOLZ THIS IS GOING 2 B LIEK SOOOOOO FUNNYS. I'M GOING TO POST A THREAD WHERE I SAY SOMETHING WILDLY INAPPROPRITE AND POST A STUPID PICTURE WITH A CAT THAT WAS SHAVED"

I remember posting some Harry Potter spoilers when I first joined this site, and now I feel like a dick for doing it. It wasn't funny and it was just stupid.

I don't know what else to say. When I first saw that topic I wanted to post something in there but I was just to dumbstruck to.

I hope that thread doesn't come back.

I've honestly never read any of those random threads anywhere. I only check Tourneys and this.

I'm glad I read this. I probably would've never seen any of the the stuff about the fox news stuff.

Speaking of, Anonymous was on a fox news channel some time ago.

Don't know if you know who that is, but yeah.

It was nice talking to you a little bit at the Open. I hope to go to Idaho sometime in late August. So hope to kick with yah!
