Worst movies ever
I have to disagree with you Damon.
In many respects Tarantino reminds me a lot of the Wachowski brothers. His movies aren't so much about examining the human condition or giving a critique about society - mainly they are just a jumble of cool ideas. In my opinion all three of the Matrix movies were full of cool things - unfortuantly the second and third didn't have the connection between the cool ideas that the first had. Tarantino is much like that - some of his movies work better than others. In my opinion the Kill Bill movies were lacking in connection - but they were definitly full of really cool stuff. All of Tarantino's movies have awesome soundtracks and they're all awesome visual movies. I'm not talking about special effects but about camera angles, colour etc. - I thought both Kill Bill movies were great but they were lacking in probably the most important area - plot. I found the plot of both movies pretty uncaptivating and found myself wondering at the end what the point of it all was. I guess the point wasn't the story but just a way for Tarintino to showcase a bunch of his really cool ideas - which is why the plot suffered to some extent. I also felt that the dialouge wasn't that great. At times it felt like he was trying to write cult quotes that people would say all the time and I think he failed at this miserably.
But the movies were a long way from being the worst movies around. I'm not sure if thinking that is a good thing or a bad thing - either you haven't seen any really crap movies (this would be a good thing) or you haven't seen enough movies in general (this would be a bad thing). Maybe you just had really high expectations and were very dissapointed. I think this is probably most likely. I have learnt that going into movies with expectations is in most cases bound to ruin the movie. Sometimes it's hard to help having high expectations - especially when a movie recieves a great deal of hype but anyway I think I'm starting to ramble a bit... (as if I ever ramble

Monsters INC. sucked.
I have seen scarier monsters on sesami street.
The blood and guts were not up to par for a horror film. I don't think my pulse rate increased once through this entire movie.
The animations were crap, the characters looked more like walking +talking stuffed animals than real live flesh and blood monsters.
Pixar completely missed the boat on this one.

personally, Kill Bill wasn't the worst, but defininately not the best. Just kinda cheesy in my opinion.
I really really hate it when people say "The Ring" was the scariest movie they have ever seen. Ok, what is so scary about a mature woman, smiling, brushing her hair in a mirror, really? And the whole idea of "If you watch this movie, you will die in exactly * days, bitch" what kind of holywood crap is that?
"Python 2" was single handingly, the WORST movie ever made. Plot was thin and horrible, the CG'd python was for some reason always in slow motion during action, and the backround story about a pro baseball player who left the country cause he beaned 1 player and decided to flee to Russia of all places to become, what else than, part owner of a shipping company? It was cheesy and the actors were straight horrible.

kill bill 2 had practically no fighting in it compared to part 1. its pretty much all storyline. what tarantino did was separate the storyline with the filler fighting scenes, and made them 2 movies.
i wonder what would happen if you cut n pasted the entire 2 movies so that it is shown chronologically. it would definitely not feel like a tarantino movie anymore.

I thought KB2 DVD was going to contain his original version of the film as one movie. I heard it was only a three hour film, but nobody wanted to sit though it so he split it into two. Is this not the case ?

I haven't seen the US version but the orginal japanese version is the funniest movie ever made!! Such a classic - the subtitles are hilarious at times and particular moments (that I don't want to spoil) still make me laugh when I think about them. I was lucky enough to see it at a cinema that was showing it to cash in on the release of the Hollywood version. I agree that the movie isn't scary but it's still a great movie!!
I haven't seen secret window but I've read the story by Stephen King and thought it was very cool although very confusing the second time I read it - and the ending was pretty cool!
The ring was definatly not the scarriest. The ending was very scary, but i think it was more just...Creepy.
The japanese version was hilarious. And scary movie 3...haha
Anyways, some of the worst movies i have seen are:

Unfortunately it no longer works, but they used to pool all the results together on the main page showing the overall favorite/least favorite movies of all the users. Interestingly enough the top 5 favorite movies were also in the top 10 worst movies...

I cant remember where I saw this movie, but they put Jim Carrey on the cover, and then got some person to play him in the movie, (but they avoided filming his face so you "couldn't tell" it wasn't him.) and all the voices were his but I swear they were from other movies or something.
Extremely low budget, extremely stupid.
