I dunno dude, I guess you'll just have to wait and find out ;)

Just got back from a session to test out my new mod. BITCHIN', AS PRESUMED 8)

Highlights:
 More Swifters. Still working on flipside
 Lots of mid-run ripsteins and swixie swirls (ALMOST had a few flipside ripsteins)
 Drilled Butterfly> Torque rpt. Could only hit it once, but it's better than nothing. I haven't been able to hit that until today.
 Drilled Butterfly> Rev-up rpt. Hit it x 3, which is my new record.
 Fairy Ducking Osis (first time)
 Most importantly... FLAPPERS BSOS AND BS MID-RUN! ahhhhh, how I've missed them. I couldn't do them mid-run anymore when I was shredding in Quantums :\

Holy SHIT. My Jam starts tee-meow-row. Holy shit. I hope everything goes according to plan.

Gotta do madd homeworks now.

Have and awesome time at the jam, wish i could some. I love the shoe mods. Lavers are great.. That mod makes it possible for me to play in them. Gunits are great but honestly lavers for form are the way to go.

Nice on the torque drill.

No, I haven't seen today's shred video yet. I'm about to check it out after I post this though. And thanks for the props on the Torque drill. It was tough, but I messed with it until I figured it out. I'll give Dyno> Torque a try next time.

Bouncin over to your blog to check your vid now.

Also, This video will put a smile on any footbag player's face. This demonstrates just how happy footbag can make you feel, watch this clip. This is for a project I'm doing in class. Jackson had never hit this before, and we weren't expecting that he would, since he hadn't had too much luck on it in the past, so it really surprised us :P

Hey! Glad to see you on here finally! :) Nice to meet you this weekend and thanks for partaking in the jam!

The jam was a success and a hit, it seems! I had a great time and it sounded like everyone else did too.

New tricks:

 Flipside Whilring Swirl! Thanks Toolan!
 PS Whirl! Thanks John G & Dave B!
 Flapper Pdx Torque
 Pixie Muted Spitfire
 Spitfirefly (?)
 Swirling ss Mirage! Thanks John G & Drew M for suggesting! And thanks Matt C for demonstrating!
 Tootsie roll> Spinning clipper Thanks Jon S!
 Swirling Knee Bump
 Doug Tank showed me the proper way to hit inspinning clipper, and I came so close to that and sonic clipper. Will be trying these later.
 Gyro miraging hand catch with a frisbee (video coming soon ;) )
 Reverse Career Ender (Not new but haven't hit it for a long while)

Well, I hosted a footbag jam... now I can die happy. Thanks to everyone for coming out and shredding with me. Hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Sticks on the ground!

I have a lot of homework since I didn't really have any free time this weekend with the event. But in the middle of homeworks, I am going to drill/experiment for a bit.

All of the following is while making little to no noise... Because my room mates haven't yelled at me yet, so I guess I'm in the clear :)

Highlights:

 Tootsie Roll> Twist bs
 Tootsie Roll> Flapper bs
 Flapper> op solesis bs! (That was cool!)
 Tootsie Roll> Anchor
 Tootsie Rollsis bs! (Tootsie-rolling-osis?)
 Tootsie Roll> Swirl bs
 Front sole> thighberger> sole wrap (Inspired by Matt Cross) I hit this 3 times just to show it wasn't a fluke, and a 4th time in the following combo..
 Solesis> thighberger> sole wrap
 Frigid Anchor
 Flapper> op Front sole
 Tootsie roll> Flapper roll bs
 Osis> ss tootsie roll rpt.

Ever since playing with Schneider this weekend again, I've really started to want to incorporate tootsie rolls in my game. That right there was a pretty great session. Before this session, I can honestly say I've only done about 3 successful flipside tootsie rolls, now... Uh, I don't even wanna know how many. My legs hurt from just tootsie rolls.

Outdoor midnight session where I could be a little louder than the previous tootsie roll session:

One of the most valuable things that anyone at the Jam said to me was something from Mike Toolan. He told me I progressed a great amount since we last played, but one thing was missing.. I still need to work on my flipside. So Toolan, this session was for you.

 Flipside Ripstein! (second one ever hit, Don't worry John, I didn't get it on tape :P )
 Tootsie roll> pdx mirage bs
 Ripped Warrior bs! (First time flip!)
 Spike Hammer bs! (First time flip!)
 Stepping Ducking Muted Flapper bs! (First time flip!)
 Backside Smear
 As I told some of the players at the Jam, my Pixie set is good on my right foot and my Fairy set is good on my left foot. I plan on only using my flip Fairy and strong Pixie in the future.. with that said, this is what I hit, which would pretty much be bs for me... Assassin! (First time!) & Guillotine! (First time!)
 Again same story... strong Phoenix & weak Fairy Warrior (first clean Fairy Warrior)
 While trying Guillotine, I accidentally hit Fairy Ducking Pickup :P
 Phoenix> Ripwalk
 Tootsie roll> dyno bs
 Swixie Near Mirage
 Swirling Legover! (That one's for John Goode, since he suggested it to me at the Jam)
 Had a ton of really nice looks at flipside Swirling Near Mirage toward the end of my session, but my legs were feelin' it from all the stepping ducking :\ I want to rest my legs tomorrow, then go for some flipside swirling stuff my next session.
 Surprised myself by incorporating some tootsie rolls mid-string bs in guiltless runs
 I totally understand stepping ducking now. Going to experiment with it later on.

Wow, my two sessions seem like polar opposites of each other... Ultimately, I'd like my game to be kinda like that. Weird stuff mixed about with some big tricks. Hopefully.

Once again, good job on running the event Nick. From all the comments I've seen or heard, everyone is very appreciative of your hard effort, so be proud of that. I really wish my neck hadn't spazzed so I could have enjoyed hanging out.

Don't sweat any of the bullshit-that-needs-no-mention going on right now, we all know you're a stand up guy, no need to defend yourself etc.

Props on continuing to push your game too. Looking forward to our next sesh (will email you about times etc.).

Thanks man. I just posted in your blog too actually. Got a pic of you slacklining haha And thanks for the suggestion. Swirling legover took me forever, but I finally figured it out. I really enjoy those swirling sets, so thanks in general for pointing it out that I should be trying more swirling than just ripstein. Good luck on filming your flip rip tonight. Peace man.

Yeah dude! Awesome getting to know you more. I was kinda quiet at NYJ :\ Anyway, hope to see you again soon (BOSTON!!!!!) And yeah, race you to swirling torque. GO!

Got back a little while ago from an AWESOME session with Jackson and Bob. Everyone was doing pretty well. Bob had some ridiculous strings, as usual. His kids are getting a bunny, and naming it Fuji. It's Japanese... Sort of :P His kids are so funny. I had to wear a heart monitor today... err.. well, i'm still wearing it, until tomorrow. It's so uncomfortable. When I press on the little sticky pads, it zaps me. This might be bad and I should probably stop pressing on those. Anyway, Jackson hit some good stuff. His stepping is coming along awesomely and he hit smear and dimwalk, madd clean. Bob told him to swing by whenever and shred! This made me so happy, because it's like passing on the torch. I used to be Bob's student (I still consider myself his student though), and now Jackson is taking my place. I'm really stoked for him. He's going to learn A LOT.

Highlights:
 Flipside Ripstein for John Goode! (3rd one ever, 1st one on tape. Little thin)

 Zipster(?) (Miraging Zipper)
 Pixie Zipper> Pixie Clipper
 Ripped Warrior bs

Also, I found this kind of humorous, so I figured I'd post it for shits'n'giggles. The hospital gave me this activity chart for me to write down when I did anything active and to write my symptoms. After I kicked with Bob and Jackson, I looked at it again and laughed pretty hard...

Stefan called me up and asked me to play with him for a little. I had so much homework to do though, no way I could play... I caved in. Fucking footbag. I'm a junkie, no doubt.

Hit some new shtuff:

 Tootsie roll> blender! SICK!
 Flapper Gyro Mirage bs!
 Flapper Pandora's box bs

Now I have to work on a footbag project for English. Just one more hit of footbag, man! I can't quit whenever I want!

Session after class in the labyrinth. Meditated first, then shredded and practiced new stuff.

 Inspinning clipper bs! (Never hit either side before! Going to keep working on these)
 Swirling ss Mirage bs! First time on flip. Flip was hit about 6 times.
 Spinning Zipper (I'll try flipside tonight)
 Ducking Zipper bs
 Today was also the day of hitting my first flipside Zippers, needless to say
 Longer stylish guiltless strings

Very pleased.

Session with Nick Pasquarello tonight! Super pumped.
