Great stuff, Zach. Its great that you're kicking regularly. Someday, maybe the whirls will learn to live in peace.

Just a few clips from today. It was a little cold and windy, it was also very ugly and grey. I played in new shoes today too, they look sweet but are still a little stiff.

a few things I didnt get on video.

pdx dlo - spin clip bs
spin osis - swirl - rpt
spin whirl - blurry whirl bs

For those of you who don't know (which is everyone I didn't just see in Chicago) I am moving to Florida in July. I have a job lined up that Ashley helped me get that is a lot better than I have now. It is also a chance for Ashley and I to try and further our relationship.

So if anyone wants to kick or visit now is your time

Looks like my window for playing whirlyball is closing...

Good luck with the move, and say hi to Ashley. Does she still play? If not, maybe you can get her to come out of retirement.

There's a decent chance I will be in Chicago in mid-June for work. If I am, you should come out to shred and hangout. I might even give you a t-shirt.

Really dug the full muted spinning swirl. I'll see you sometime before the big move. Good kicking with you last weekend.

Gah - I wasn't expecting the rpt for some reason. Noice.
Even though you don't live here, it still feels like you're leaving :'-( when you're gonna move.

Made it safely to Florida. Sitting on the couch now with Ashley watching tv.

Gonna play tomorrow, hopefully I don't die in the heat.

Played for 30 minutes today before the heat and humidity was too much for me. I haven't been playing much over the last 2 months since I have been really busy trying to get ready to move down to Florida. But now that I am here I hope to start playing regularly again.

Before I moved home and slowed down playing, I was playing really well and I hope to get back to that level soon.

No real highlights from today, hit a lot of my drills first try, but that was about it.

My run length is real short. I have had maybe 2 string that were above 20 contacts. Im averaging about 16 right now. I think the heat has something to do with it. I get about 10 contacts in and im really tired and breathing heavy once I drop. Gotta thin my blood out and get used to it.

Yeah, brutal humidity will halve your string length. Glad to hear the move went well. Do you have a job down there? I assume there's not much of a market for whirliball there. You should come cool off at USO. I'll give you a shirt off my back and everything.

Just browsing and found your blog. Watched all of the recent vids and read a lot of the highlights. Ridiculous stuff man. I love your Mobii. SO controlled. Props on Mob> Mob. Think you ca hit it x3? Looks like you could. I've been trying for it, but I need to get mine more solid before I go for a third. Barfly swirl bs was intense. And that Mobius> P Blender rpt was.. I don't know. I'm trying to think of something to describe it but I can't... uh.. Really really good. Sick stuff lately dude. Wish I would have talked to you more at NYJ, I was kinda shy then and I didn't totally feel comfortable with my game. And when I was talking to you, you had to run off to your circle comp. So what I wanted to say is that I think your style rips. It's so different in it's own way from everyone else's. You definitely have your own thing going on. Anyway, now that I know this exists, I'm going to keep up with you. And get Ashley playing again, definitely. Later man.

Ken: No job yet, but I'm looking around trying to find something good. I got a few good leads and am hoping to start something part time soon just to get my started. They are actually supposed to be opening a Whirlyball in Orlando, so I hope to do some part time work there at least. As tempting as the shirt off your back is, I don't think I will be able to make it. I don't think my employer would be thrilled with me taking time off after only working for a few weeks, but you never know.

Nick: Glad you found my blog and now I have another reader! Also glad that you like my videos and highlights. I'm happy I could inspire you with symple swirls. I've been reading your blog for a little while now, I just don't post on the forum too often. I've been trying for mobius x3 for a while now too, I have footed it a few times but no success yet. Next time we are at a tournament or jam together don't be shy. I am super friendly and love talking about footbag.

Been playing almost everyday since I don't have a job yet and not a lot to do during the day when Ashley is gone at work. So here is what I have hit:

Vortex - spinning blender bs
clip near dso bsos with both reapers in the same run
schmoe - parkwalk - blizzard - dimwalk - rpt - sidewalk - ripwalk - rpt - blur - legbeater - ripwalk - rpt - run
mobius - ripwalk bs
DLO - blender - rpt - run
diving mirage - ducking clip - ducking legover - diving clip - rpt
Drifter x9 (personal best :? )
Drifter war
whirl x 4 - pdx whirl x3 - rpt
pdx whirl - ripwalk - barfly bsos
pdx whirl - pdx drifter - rpt (surprisingly hard drill for me)
dropped on last contact of blender - pdx blender - rpt
atw kick bs both ways (got the idea from Paul and Nick)
Mobius x2 (footed 3rd)
