I usually dont like 4 square but playing late night doubles 4 square while being intoxicated with that one guy who is awesome at 4 square steve goldberg (or do i have the right name im confused and unsure about my memory) was a blast

Greg Nelson: I think people should email/PM greg to encourage him to come. He said he'd come for sure if Peter was coming. Maybe email/PM Peter too

Forum banner: Yeah, Mike made one last year. First event logo ever on modiifed?

Tim may be coming. Nothing preventing him, but I'm not sure. If so it will prolly be solo.

Handstands: I'm down. Prolly get smoked again.

Late night stuff: I love to play cards, but late night doubles 4 square at CSS was the shazzer.

Shirts: They are awesome. I plan on making a registration system in the next week or so we can see who wants a shirt, and we can make enough. Link me some sites on how to do that if anyone feels inclined to do so. and when this thing is up, please use it, so we get the right amount.
BTW, I love the shirt, Zeke.

Circle Comp: We don't have any serious events the first day because we only have the venue till 4. People come in at different times and need to get settled.

Steve Goldberg: Steve's only coming if his friend is free to come.

Kyle: I'd love to, but I'd rather someone else volunteer first, cuz I'm sure I'll be hella busy during the event.

Minor problem with that.... I submit the art Wed. morning, I would need to know how many shirts by then. I think I'll just get 30 or so

Small = 6
Medium = 12
Large = 6
X-large = 6

Thanks for all the enthusiasm about the upcoming event. I am eccstatic that there is so much hype. Thanks to everyone who is coming out!

Getting down to brass tacks, the reason we have the site is to reach out to the people of Chicago and to introduce to them the sport of footbag. If we don't follow through with our outreach, we will not get this site again next year.

We need to staff an "Interactive Zone" for all open hours of the event, where we give passersby an experience with the sport of footbag, and where we give a free footbag to anyone who tries. In the past two years, we have given away over 500 footbags each year. This year our goal is to double that. This is an out-of-pocket expense that I incur each year, and it would be nice if anyone could help out with a small cash donation towards this initiative.

Anyone who would like to help ensure that we get this site again next year, please contact me directly to volunteer for a 2-hour shift (or more) in the Interactive Zone, teaching people how to play footbag.

I know we will all have a FREAKING BLAST at this event, but we have some responsibilities to ensure we get the site again next year.

Thanks for your enthusiasm. I can't wait! See you there!

Since I'll likely not be able to shred my hardest or best due to a nagging left hip injury, I will be the first volunteer for a 2-hr shift of getting people interested in footbag. I'll also likely contribute some cash donation to the cause, but I won't commit to that at this very moment. I'll be arriving in Chi-town a day or two before the event actually starts, so I'd love to "help" anyone who needsit with last minute event-related things. Feel free to PM to request my assistance in any way.

I always make it a point to teach and welcome new players when i see them around, i really enjoy doing that and would have no problems volunteering in the interactive zone

I don't think I can come, guys. I just found out that I'm completely broke. I'd like to blam it on other shit, but it's just poor money management on my part, so now I'm paying for my lack of attention to my bank account. I was waiting until after the holidays to get a job, but I think I'm gunna wind up working on new years...

I think the whole footbag community is almost always welcoming to new members, but what Scott is talking about is an entertainment zone for kids. Dont look at it so much like its to train new footbaggers. Its to show kids how much fun footbag is-then theyll get hooked!javascript:emoticon(':D')
