went to yo meeting. it was pretty sick. got lots of props for learning yo so quick, and being a descent footbagger/stitcher. they were very impressed by ripwalks, smears, and whirls (i was in jeans). holly went to a concert, but ill let her tell you about it.

but i learned alot from those guys.
like

green triangle
red triangle
the right way" slack trapeze
ninja disappear
wrist mount
pop n fresh
and probably more i forgot.

and i learned mondial and mach 5 and cold fusion yesterday.

if i only could footbag whenever, then id be good and learn fast.

i made a deal with holly. i get another g5 for my birthday, and she gets that tattoo for hers.

shes the best girlfriend ever. period. i love her more than anything.

well. guess im going to relax, ive got work in a few hours.

great job brian, and i love you too.

so yea, went and saw flogging molly. doors opened at 6, the show didnt start until 8, and there were 3 opening bands. reverend payton and his big damn band, some punk band (2.8 or something), and street dogs. by the time flogging molly go on it was 11 and the place was probably 3 times too full. i was up front getting spit on and elbowed in the face, so i left after they played "the likes of you" (2nd song). even when i went to the back it was just as crowded as the front. i hate to say this but it was a terrible show, and really wish i would have had a good time cause ive been looking forward to it. i guess thats what happens when you have expectations.

reverend payton and his big damn band was pretty fuckin awesome though. they had payton (lead singer, dobro, and harmonica), his wife (washboard breezy), and his little brother (drums). the bad ass parts were breezy was a very large woman but she was confident and can play the damn washboard! also payton didnt use a real slide on his dobro, he used his harmonica... and when he wasnt doing the slide with the harmonica he played the dobro one handed while he played the harmonica. they didnt have bass or effects, he said his bass was his thumb hitting his guitar. they had a song about how they were watching cops and breezys cousin was on it... lol.

i wish i wouldve had a good of a time as brian.
i guess im jealous.

thanks. brian and i are very visual people... if i had the choice between being deaf or being blind... id chose to be deaf.

tomorrow is a shred day. ive been sick the past two weeks with a sinus infection. i have some things to work on:
infinity
clipper> ss legover
ducking butterfly
ducking mirage
moshers tail bsos (already happened... but want to space out the tails in a string)
pixie set
dlos
ssdlos
plo
datw
probably wont get everything done but thats alright

im sending off a check for an aidan bag tomorrow.
other bags on my list for my collection: matt cross, owheel, ilja, carol, docbag, sudderman
not sure if ilja or carol stitch anymore... anyone know about that?

i wish feilds would just go ahead and sell sunshine (a better yellow than tulip)

im not selling anymore bags till worlds. only gift bags.

my mind is in a lot of places right now. i have some personal problems to get through. i wish i could trust people.

ive been having more and more dreams about worlds. its normal for me to have dreams nightly... but most of them i dont remember. lately, ive been able to wake up and remember that theyve been about disney and footbag... sometimes in my dreams, footbag gets replaced with dodgeball. and there are travel tubes (like in futurama) that get me and henry to the small world ride... then we go and meet someone at the dumbo ride. that someone at the dumbo ride always changes... sometimes its matt cross or vaska... sometimes its honza or caro... or even mosher and peng. i wish i could make videos of my dreams.

ive been able to save up a lot of money since i havent been smoking/buying weed. problem is i have this money and dont know what i want. bought an aidan bag, but i have the feeling its just going to be shelved (not because of quality, but because i really like my bags). brian and i already bought our plane tickets and have the money or our worlds trip.

do people read this?

session today.

went really well, other than string length. itll come back tho.

atom bs
legbeater bs
tripwak bs
toe blur bs

paste>paradon>bubba beater was my best 3.

string length was like 5-8 contacts and longer tiltless (like 10 contacts)

i learned some new yoyo stuff too. something like spirit bomb, but the last pop is different, and i just grab all the strings and pull them away for my dismount. i also have been messing with my top tips on my GM2. theyre sweet.

best yo string was

laceration>slack trapeze>buddas revenge>matrix>matrix>coldfusion> my spiritbomb variation>backspin bind.

got some new yoyos too. GM2, Tank, 401k espionage. got the tank in a footbag trade!. the tank and 401 should be here soon.

i got some new facile colors for me and holly too.

black noir, eclipse, and re-upped on midnight , active, and something else...

so i gotta figure out this tri spinner bag. if anybody has one, take some all sides shots for me and post them so i can figure them out.

we booked our hotel and pretty much have our whole worlds trip paid for, and reserved (minus a few small amenities.)

im pretty happy with life right now. im having fun, and im excited about upcoming events. things are going very well in school, and its just tiring being there all day everyday. but rewarding too. i like my new hobby, and i think my footbag chops will be resharpened as soon as i make more time to shred. i pretty much have stopped playing videogames because i have more active hobbys that are more fun. my bags have been looking very nice, i just have to make myself do it.

okay, i guess i need to go eat.

cya soon,

brian

thanks for the replies, fellas! i like it when this blog isnt just me and brian talking.

you havent hit moshers tail bsos, tom?! i was thinking im going to compete at worlds in the shred30 and actually hit it bsos while im up there. if i do, its dedicated to you buddy. i dont want to compete to win, cause i know i wont be at that level by then, but itll be nice to have a cute, fun, unique little shred30. ill probably drop a million times cause i get nervous in front of people, but having fun its what its going to be about for me.

we bought our plane tickets (my birthday gift from my mother and father!) we made our hotel reservations and the reservation for the bus to take us to and from the airport. we are gonna get tickets to the disney parks. now all thats left is being patient and food accomodations. this is going to be fucking sick!

my twin called my father today! all he really said was hi and that hes happy. him having a phone call means that hes doing really well to get those privledges. i mailed him a letter. he had to do the gas chamber thing, treading moving water wearing all their gear and a 70lb pack, obsticle courses, motivation courses, and this week he goes to the rifle range. hes supposed to graduate may 18th, so our family and brian are going to south carolina for the graduation. im excited to see him and hear him tell his stories.

earlier this week a girl i knew a long time ago got in a car wreck and died. she was 19. she lived down my street and we hung out every afternoon in elementary school. ciera elder (pronounced sara). she had this pet squirrel that was injured in her back yard and she house trained it and everything. my twin knew her too. im sad that it happened but its been so long since ive seen her that i dont really feel any connection with it.

brian said hes getting me a suprise! ill let you know what it is when i get it.

footbag tomorrow too. i like this weather.
