1) Turning on the light somehow lit him on fire and he didn't realize it until he looked in the mirror?

2) He was trying to break a world record of keeping a footbag off the ground and he fell asleep. When he got up and looked in the mirror he saw the footbag was lying on the ground next to him. In shame he decided he did not deserve to live anymore and committed suicide. That's gotta be it. :)

Is the man an artist? He painted a mirror on his wall and was satisfied with his work. His reflection is something he NEVER DREW.

Not a bad guess, I say.

Ok here is the answer:

For his work he was a midget in a circus. Ordinary he couldn't have seen himself in the mirror but during the night he had grown up. So he knew he would lose his job and that's why the suicide.

:?

This riddle had me really interested.

I'm disappointed :(

I think you should be able to figure out riddles from just the question alone, without having to make random guesses. There was no indication of height of the mirror etc so how would one make a conclusion that he is a midget :?

seriously... I think the other solutions are better.

8 bicyclers rode by a fruit tree, picked 5 pairs and rode on, but there was not enough fruit, and 3 of them didn't get any. why is this?
