My 12th 32. (aka Mosher12 aka Royal Bank)

Mosher11 (aka Paprika (it is a replica of Pepper my Fred Touzelet) & Mosher12

I have been experimenting with different stitching techniques.

12 was an attempt at making a Mirken, I think it came out alot more like a Wilson.

What do you think?

PS 12 is SOOOOO juicy and plush.

i would describe 12 as very juicy, even tho I haven't felt it. It looks similar to some bags that I have made recently. Someday, I might own a mosher bag, eh? Not for a while tho. Ill wait until your stitching has been proven to be top quality.

I think the only reason im posting here is because i hit something cool tonight and now i wanna be happy and share thougths and stuff. But on the real, it looks like a nice bag. I see some things that should/could be changed tho. What are your weaknesses as a stitcher?

I have been making subtle changes to my technique over the last few bags.

I went too shallow on 12 for how much I gather, I tend to gather 'completely' if you know what I mean? like.. I leave nothing ungathered because I fear leaving an inconsistent amount ungathered.
I can consistently achieve zero.

On all my bags up till the last couple I was causing wrinkles in my panels because of the path I took at the important hex connection area, I knew I was doing a stupid stitch but I hadn't taken the time to sort out a better one until recently.

The 7 or 8 panels of footbag on my lap right now that I am working on will hopefully take into account all the things I think I need to focus on. I have a new path through the hex area that eliminates the panel akwardness from earlier and so far it is looking great.

I am aiming for a stitch depth that lies between 11 and 12, the first two flowers look promising.

I will post 13 when I finish it and you can give me critiques.

In fact, Jeremy, could you PM me some criticism? I would really appreciate that. I am so very impressed by the two bags I have that you made, I would love some advice.

Oh, and I have been trying to keep the variables I change between bags to a minimum to better understand what changes happen as a result.

It is very interesting to see what minor tweaks to the input parameters can do to the final output.

What colors of facile do you have right now anyway?

Why put off learning to stitch for the summer??

Don't you think you'll feel more inclined to sit inside stitching during the cold winter months?

Saying you will wait until the summer is effectively like saying that you're not really going to do it at all since you'll probably want to shred during your spare time come summer!

I have not started formally selling my 32's yet. They are good bags but I am far from perfect still. I would like to continue to refine my techniques until I am confident enough with my product.

I did ask Matt for a little money for the bag but it was only a fraction of what a pro would charge and that was just to cover the material, shipping and then a little thank you for my time. I'm glad Matt will be trying it out, I hope it's a real great bag.

I am going to go start on a bag that I owe Chris Dean. I will post it when I finish.

I want to buy some Floppy Big ones.

holy sheeeze i was just looking through all the posts in this forum and i just want to quickly say that...
Henry Griese the green orange abshire that you had...was it any good???? cause i have the same one...and brad nelson that mint chocolate bag is really really really coool....if any of you too are willing to sell them...let me know...

also i just sewed a really weird bag..and it sucks...but its stalls really well i call it the "july" bags cause i started it like 2 years in july and i just decided to finish it today it looks like a marshmellow i hae no camera but ill try borrowing one soon!!!

yea about that bag i made...the marshmellow shaped one i sell it for -3 bucks i give u three bucks to take it cause well it looks like a marshmellow and it plays as well as one....

i only play with now cause i dont want to kick any of my other better bags...haha jk....

My new pipen bag!

It has a real nice, heavy filler, and isnt too small. I like medium bags, this one is a little big, but i think i will love it!
