Small practice session turned out to be a full blown jam today. Oddly enough I had mixed feelings about it just because I really wanted to focus on drilling some basics but once they started playing squares... well, you know the rest

Squares is always fun. Got hit in the nuts twice and I didn't even win a game but I still had a great time playing.

Hey, I am new to this club and have yet to make it to a shred... Are you guys going to get together at all for Blues Fest.

I am going to go one of the 4 days of Blues Fest, and I thought id wait to find out when you were gonna shred and meet up... I haven't kicked in like 8 years. There isn't like an age max for this club is there?

We'll definitely be down at Grant Park for Blues Fest. I'm not positive on the dates, but it's a pretty safe bet we'll be down there for the better part of Sat and Sun, possibly on Thurs too. We predominantly kick by the Fox stage (Jackson and the lake), but also travel around to as many hack circles as we can find around the park. Just make a round or two and you'll find us.

well i had surgery today...wasnt to bad...now im just gonna continue laying and watching tv and surfing the internet on my psp...wow typing is hard...but i think typing is getting a little easier...even though it took me about 7 minutes to write this cheers

Played squares today. Josh Martin and Freddy came out, they're out of school now. Tom and Tony played and Reile got off work early and joined us later in the afternoon. It wasn't until Reile and Tom finished shredding that the tone really changed in the court. The game got a bit more frantic with all the fakes and trick shots going around. Quite a few epic rounds going back and forth between several players.

At the end, Reile, Tom and I play 3-square... HOLY SHIT!!!! I love playing with these guys. Not very many easy points going around since we all defend basic passes well. There were plenty of trick shots, kick fakes and redirected passes. Too bad nobody tapes, I'd love to watch that kind of stuff. Reile pretty much dominated the first game getting to 14 and winning while Tom and I were only at 6 or 7 points. Reile had quite a few lengthy battles with Tom. It was so much fun to watch them defend their squares, recovering from a bad positions and hitting these amazing saves when the it looked like a good kill.

I was still playing kinda shitty but managed a win in the final 3S game. Reile had this amazing move where he had his back to Tom, self-screened a toe pass and it went between his legs and just pass the line into Tom's square. What a great move. Tom did the same move to kill me but was more asstheticly pleasing.

Yeah.
