I was wondering who got my name for the bag exchange. I have not received one in the mail yet. Can someone help me find out who and when. Thanks, Richard Abshire

I'll try to clear up a few of these questions tonight. Because I did not handle the pairings, I do not know who has whom. To Charles, I tried sending a PM explaining your situation to the one receiving your bag, but I accidentally sent it to Cod, who is the wrong person! DOH! So maybe you should send him an email yourself. To Richard, Ill find out the answer to your question, or I'll have Jackbag (who handled the pairings) contact the person sendiong to you and then Ill give you an update on whether the bag has been sent in the mail yet or what the hold up is. Thanks for posting your feedback. This is confusing, especially since I was trying to keep myself unbiased by not setting or knowing the pairings. Answers to come soon!

Something came up for me, and my bag was shipped out late. It should be arriving soon, though.

Actually, when I was stitching it, I was wearing a Brownies sweater and that's what it reminded me of. I'm not sure if you guys have it in the states, but the girl guides of Canada's younger group of 7/8 y/os is called Brownies.

Well, I picked up my Lesh bag today from the Post Office! I got there at about 7:06AM and at 7:15 the attendant came back with my package. It took sooooooooooooooooo agonizingly long! I opened it and it looks pretty sweet. Definitely "manly" colors :) Ill post a pic of it here later this evening when I get home from work. Ive had it in my pocket all day long, and even made a language activity out of it with 4 speech kids I work with at Rod Kelley Elementary School. It is an amaretta suede bag.

Aren't you Mr. Positive! Have some faith in the most patriotic think I can thing of, the US Postal Service.

Oh beautiful for packages,
For mail arriving late,
For white envelopes full of bags,
For yours you'll have to wait!
AMERICA, AMERICA,
Your postal service sucks!
It's pricey and painful,
I'd rather take it in the butt!!!!
AMERICA, AMERICA,
Next time please try your best,
Or I will be forced to send my package,
Via UPS!!!!!!!!!

Long live the postal service!

To add my input here, I just received word that the bag I sent to Hania (poland) just recently arrived there. Richard, since she was sending to you, it may be that her bag is about to arrive to you as well, especially because I think she mailed her bag after I mailed mine. I certainly hope that is the case. Anyhow, sorry you were put off by the mail service. I guess thats the chance we take when we send stuff to/from other countries. Thanks for your participation in this initial bag exchange. It was great of you to participate and Im sure it attracted more stitchers than would have participated without your entry.

Jeremy

PS- if your bag never arrives, I believe she is going to send you another bag because she is a nice person :)
