This is a review for the bag Andrew Dunford made for me in October. After what I can only imagine as a hellish journey through the post office tubes my bag (postmarked October 19) got to me about a week ago. I hope this picture isn't too unflattering:
I showed the bag to everyone in our club today. Everyone agreed it's money. Per my request the bag is a little bit larger than normal. As you can see the bag already pancakes just a little bit and will require no break in. The material is all amaretta and therefore already feels very soft. To make up for amaretta's fragile nature the gather seems to be just a little bit tighter than normal to aid in longevity. I personally also prefer this style aesthetically to bags that look very puffy.
I warmed up using the bag just hours ago with both my old Lavers and a brand new pair of Quantums -- the bag adhered to both surfaces perfectly and I couldn't once blame a drop on the bag rolling. I found that the filler of the bag created a perfect center of gravity -- it stays on my foot for catches and comes off perfectly for sets. I couldn't be happier with this footbag! Weight forthcoming.
If at all possible I plan to exclusively buy Eskimo Bags from here on out. All correspondence I've had with Andrew is quick and professional. He stands behind his bags, and when you buy one you're paying for quality.
