stephen, GREAT story to start that post, wow...

i saw DC rise above a broken spine and 6 weeks of no footbag to bring himself to the rank of 4th in the world.

watching that happen really made the tournament for me. it was incredible. I was on the edge of my seat during all 3 of his routines. you're awesome, dave.

i saw the most massive glass of top-shelf whiskey on the rocks I've ever drank in my life for $6. Thanks sam! (actually, pre worlds)

This post so far is a little disturbing too me. Did anyone see mickey or donald , pluto , daffy , tinkerbell OR MAYBE MANU AND JF LOOSE TO THE GERMANS.HOW BOUT MANU WIN HIS 10TH, THATS RIGHT 10TH SINGLES NET CHAMPIONSHIPS. I always see net players in the stands watching freestyle, and I usually see freestyle players watching net. This post would have to suggest that this might not have been true at disney? Are sport is too young and to new to not support both freestyle and net. I know I am from the old school and I still suck at both, but remember there is safety in numbers. You do not have to play both, just try to support through spectatership the one you might not compete in. see ya ted f

I just think since this is a freestyle forum, we don't really post about net too often. It's not that we don't care about net, it's just not what this forum is about.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I saw some great freestyle. I saw some great net, and I saw some not so great net. I will never forget Alexis Deschenes' last net match against the Finns, and how he thought it was over just a little too soon... It was lesson in competition.

I saw a ridiculously old and tinny little speaker-system providing the music for a whole lot of awesome shredders in the crazy-carpet room, even for some of the first round of circle-comp. If you only knew how crazy that was...

The coolest thing I saw was a shooting star landing right on Big ADD Chad's head. It was a cool thing to see, and I hope it's as good a portent for a really cool guy as it seemed at that moment.

Me and Henry Griese were all over (ALL OVER) Team Japan's electricuting joke bubble gum pack. That was awesome! :P

Denton Louis and I were training for our freestyle doubles routine, and failing miserably.

I saw Dylan Fry kill a bottle of beer in two seconds flat. Literally.

Ok not that I remember saying this, because even drunk I'm not that stupid, but if I did I think it was actually the other way around... let's just say it was a frustrating week. : )

Lee and I saw Johnny Suderman at the Cirque du Soliel. horrifyingly good show, it only lacked acrobatic footbag stunts and juggling.
