i dont see what the problem is with that, no matter what level you're at. i think i like it better when people dont give up on a string, even if they guilt. obviously less so in competition, but i think its much better for endurance and control to try to save it when possible.

There was a time that I really hated to bail on toe. However, lately, from seeing a lot of comps, bailing to toe is just something that occurs when you fail to completely hit that long and/or guiltless+ string. I think there's also sentimental value in whether you want to take the bag back from a bailing toe and complete a move that you're confident in hitting, but lucked out in some way or form.

And yeah, there's something say about respecting the person that's following you, so as to not to be a bag hog.

Anyway, bailing to toe isn't that evil, imo. It's better than self-serving.

when people spit in or around the circle. phlegm and facile have some kind of magnetism.

when someone wants to chit chat with me while I'm mid-string.

when someone thinks they're being extremely courteous by passbacking me every turn. however, this is meant well, so I tend to bite my tongue on this one.

competitions at night or on the last day of a 3-day or longer tournament.

tight hips.

when someone busts ass really bad in or near the circle.

and on a related note, getting gas and having to fart midstring and trying to hold it in. the muscle tension in my stomach makes me drop so much!

I had a really funny way to end this, but I don't want to hurt someone's feelings, because it's personal ;) and half joking, but still mean.
