Hell Im old and feeling older every day(I need to see a doctor) I remember when I started all the top shredders had shaved legs.
A certain older shredder around Chicago still does it to this day.- To his credit I have seen some pretty hot girls walk up and grab his legs and compliment them. But I dont think Ill get the same reaction if I shave mine.

There was a thread about who was doing the footbag tricks in the movie, She's All That. I guess I took it for granted that all footbaggers that started playing after it came out just knew who it was. In my mind it doesn't seem that long ago, but I just checked imdb.com and the movie came out in '99.
You're probably a new shredder if you had to ask.
not that there's anything wrong with that

Funny movie titles if the movie were about poop:
Red
Fast & the Furious
The Green Mile
Children of the Corn
There Will be Blood

2001 is the cutoff for me (yes it coincides with my humble beginnings). But goddamn I FEEL old. I remember watching the Lion's Den with Nick at the library in college. That was the shit. I remember when Ryan was the shit. I remember when shit hit the fan (aka Vasek).
I remember warming up with Jorden at the 2002 Montreal 'estival' tournament. I hit my first paradox blender right then.
There are other players with memories that go even farther back. I consider myself oldschool. Then again if I had been a better player I would probably not feel this way.
This just puts into perspective how much the sport has grown in such a short time.
